Hotels near Contemporary Shopping Mall (Zhongguancun Shop), Beijing

The hand shower is of poor quality. Due to the light weight and material, the impact of the water flow is completely uncontrollable and rushes to the ceiling. The room should be quiet, but there is a dull roar of the fan intermittently. The only thing I like is the breakfast in the restaurant next door, which is cheap and affordable.

The room is very good, newly renovated, the decoration style is novel, warm, comfortable to live, the service is very good, awesome, the health is also very clean, the toiletries are so big two bottles, take three baths, haha, the traffic is very convenient, just near the subway station, a few minutes walk to the store, eat, Shopping is also very convenient, opposite is a big shopping mall, you can go shopping if you are fine, my friend and I like to live here, next time you come to Beijing, you will still live in your home.

We stayed in the college entrance examination room. The hotel was very professional and the service was very good: there were snacks prepared for the children, extra meals at night, and the breakfast and lunch buffets were also very good. Especially for parking, in order to facilitate the children's exams, a parking space was reserved at the door, and each car would not affect other cars when leaving... The hotel thought of everything for the children, I am very grateful 🙏 In addition, the view outside the window is also very good.

There is smoke smell inside rooms, even though there's sign showing nonsmoke. The front desk kindly changed the room for us,and even upgraded to a larger room. Unfortunately there's still smoke smell inside the second room. I guess it's because the air conditioner is completely shut down when nobody inside. Once it's turned on, it's a lot better. The location is convenient. Room is relatively new, except one corner of the lamp above drops off. Bottled water is offered every day. We're overall satisfied with the stay.

The staff here are very enthusiastic, the environment is good and the service is responsive. It is quiet, elegant and chic. The room facilities are advanced and new. They are very smart and can be controlled by Xiao Ai, which is super convenient. There is white porridge for breakfast, which I like very much. The restaurant is large and has many locations.

Recently renovated, very modern and clean. They accept foreigners and some of the staff also speaks English. ”Interior-Facing window” is not a window to the courtyard, but to a ventilation duct (?), with literally no light coming in, keep that in mind.

I have been a regular at Ariva for last 10 years. It’s a 4 star property which you could easily mistake for 5 star, but that was before the pandemic. After the pandemic, their service quality had dropped significantly. We returned to China and had 5 pieces of big suitcase plus additional hand luggage. Guess what, we were told there is no person who can help us to carry the luggage to our rooms. After repeated reminder, one boy named Tommy who looked like a trainee helped to carry the luggage to the room. Same thing happened at checkout. The reception person was straight and honest “we don’t have a person available who can help you with the luggage”. I had to take 4 rounds to carry the luggage down by myself. And we are talking of a property which is rated as 4 star!! I felt sad, perhaps the hotel had a hard time during the pandemic and was still recovering from bad financial situation that they don’t have full service staff yet. The reception staff, all were trainees from colleges. In terms of facilities, its still a good place. They have swimming pool, gym, spa and every room I have stayed here is spacious and has a bathtub. I have always loved their Aviva center on 6th floor which has DIY kitchen and laundry area which helps if you are staying for long duration or are traveling with kids. I haven’t lost faith and hope Ariva will have its glory days once again.

The room environment is not bad, but it is a bit small. The price is acceptable, the facilities and equipment are good, and the service attitude is also good. The bed sheets were not changed in time after the last guest left, so I asked the waiter to change them immediately.

The space is very private, air-conditioned, and the environment is relatively quiet. It’s pretty good among the youth hostels in Beijing and you can stay there permanently. You can also take a shower and brush your teeth. There is also warm and hot water to drink.

very cute and lovely hotel for a couple, front desk doesn't really speak english but with a little understanding of chinese u can easily pass through it. you're also able to choose your room yourself and switch rooms every single day to check the others out. bathtub was really nice, sadly in one of the rooms the bathtub was slightly broken as the water was more room temp. theres also a mirror on top of the bed, which was interesting. the area wasn't bad and it was just easy to get around. will definitely go here again!
