No breakfast even after a $200 + bill. Had to ask for another room because the safe didn't work. Don't expect a freely given comp because of your trouble and waiting on them. Not even a breakfast comp. Look for something else. Noisy place to try to sleep. Trains, planes and construction.

I was very nervous about coming to a new hotel! Especially because we have never stayed in the area. They made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in! We took small get away to end our kids spring break! We all enjoyed our stay! But my favorite was how kid friendly it was!

The hotel is being renovated, and the soft furnishings of the rooms look very new. The sound insulation is relatively poor, and the crying of children and the voices of people in the corridor can be heard clearly. There will be a sudden sound of equipment running in the room, and I don't know what it is. affect sleep.
The bathroom wasn't cleaned and there were hairs and whatnot.
Across the street is the Water Garden, which is convenient for sightseeing. It is also close to the train station. Great location.

Guest UserArrived at the hotel before 10 AM after a red-eye flight, and the front desk was very generous in allowing an early check-in, which was a huge help.

Wow! As the father of the bride for my first-born daughter & her fiancé we researched long & hard for a hotel that could handle our out of town guests to give them an authentic Texas experience. After evaluating different options we chose the Historic Sinclair Building Fort Worth from Marriott Autograph collection. Sinclair is a renovated office building that Sinclair Oil used to operate from and is just steps away from Sundance Square. Marriott has touches throughout the building that tributes its storied history. Sinclair has combined the authenticity of the past with cutting edge technology. The bathroom mirror had apps inside the mirror for the weather, news, & music etc. The bathroom also had lighting that could change colors and moods. The curtains could be closed with the touch of a button so you can fall in asleep in the absolutely amazingly comfortable bed. While all that was more than wonderful the real magic happened with the service- starting with sales leader Courtney Towson & GM Tammy Vallejo. They invited us to lunch to learn about our event and provided top notch solutions from putting gift bags in guest’s room, private check in line, and a complete staff of can-do attitudes. Courtney even came in on Saturday to check in on us. She opened up roof top bar for bride/groom first looks. After the wedding we came back to a bottle of wine and handwritten note of congratulations from Courtney. Magical day, Magical Property, Magical Location, Magical Service!!!

AlChaconExcellent space with very warm attention. The facilities are clean and comfortable. The bed and kitchens are super comfortable. You are in the centre of the city with a lot of trade and close nightlife.

Guest UserMy daughter and I were traveling for a gymnastics competition. We were pleased with the location's proximity to the Fort Worth Convention Center and dining options. The room and hotel were pretty clean overall.
However, these are the weird things that ruined our stay:
- The bathroom door knob was missing. I know it sounds weird, but there was no knob--just a big hole in the door where one should be.
- The heat in our room did not work. We were cold and had it set to 80, but it only blew cold air.
- Upon arrival at breakfast (included with our specific booking) no one acknowledged us or greeted us. We waited for a while and then I tracked down a worker putting out food to ask if we seat ourselves or if someone seats us. She did not reply to me (language barrier), but got someone to tell us we could just seat ourselves. It was confusing and unwelcoming. I witnessed other patrons enter after me and share the same confusion and have to ask as well. A simple greeting, welcome, or explanation could go a LONG way.
I am not typically a complainer, so the issues above would've normally been mentioned at checkout for resolution before the next time they put someone in the room. It wasn't worth the hassle of moving to a different room.
- (This was the biggie.) We had a family enter our room because they were given keys and assigned OUR room at check in. We had not checked out, and now our keys would no longer work. The family returned to the desk and were assigned a different room. When I asked about this mix up at the desk, they told me they ”didn't know how that had happened” like I was somehow making it up. They reprogrammed our key cards and assured us that no one else would bother us during the remainder of our stay.
- They charged me for one night of parking instead of two, and charged me for breakfast although it was included with my booking. These charges were resolved and an apology was extended for the inconveniences of the stay.
I would not stay at this hotel again, and will choose differently when traveling there next year. It was a hassle and a disappointment.

Guest UserThe employees were very courteous and friendly. I was dismayed when I had to valet my car at a rate of $30/night, which I was not informed of prior to arrival. I felt I should mention so that others will know what to expect. The location is right at the convention center, which is approximately 3 miles via car ride from the Stockyards. The room was clean, as was the hotel. I felt completely safe staying there and was satisfied with my stay overall.
