It is always interesting to read recent reviews of hotels that one has also stayed at, to compare impressions. One recent one of this place was rather negative, and I can understand why, even though I don't agree. If that same person had stayed here several times over the past decade, as I have, they might have seen things differently. This is so much nicer now, under new ownership. Lots of new paint, new appliances, new carpet... lighting is still a bit of an issue, but they have plans to work on that. I don't get the comment about no storage: two drawers are right under the TV, and the closet is a walk-in! Lots of room in the bathroom and the shower is big, and the water is hot. I used the lighted make-up table as a work area: more than ample. The bed has firm without being rock-hard: perfect for my back. Thin walls, of course, but I already knew that from previous visits. Breakfast used to be in the lobby, and it was only coffee, OJ, cereal and pastries. Now there is a cafeteria, with cereal, coffee, milk and juices, a waffle maker, sausages, eggs (they come out square, but that's what they are), fresh fruit, bread and bagels for toasting, ”donettes”... so much more filling and nourishing than before. And there are plenty of nearby places to eat, if one prefers. Bottom line: the new owners appear to have done their homework on this motel. They saw the potential and did some immediate work to make it more attractive on the outside, as well as did some nice upgrades inside, while keeping to the basic Econo Lodge rates. They told me that they have more work planned, and they listened to my suggestions and comments. At about $50 a night (including taxes), I don't expect concierge service, but I really think that I got excellent value this trip, and several others staying here while I was had the same thing to say. I give this five stars on the ”budget lodgings” scale.

渺渺渺渺渺渺渺From Los Angeles to Las Vegas, choose to stay here for one night. The location is very convenient. There are more places to eat around. You can walk there, and the free parking lot is very convenient. We didn't expect much from the high demand for accommodation. I didn't think it was really good. The room was very comfortable, spacious, the bathroom was big enough, the partition was reasonable, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast of the next day was also unexpected. We occasionally ate very well. In short, it was very good and worth recommending! !

GGuest UserWe stayed here in room 421 on 8/22/22. It was our third stay in three years. We found the staff helpful and pleasant, the room was good sized, quiet and comfortable. It faces the front of the hotel. The bathroom is large with lots of counter space. There is a fridge with a freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and TV . The A/C worked well and was pretty quiet. The internet was fine for checking email and surfing the web. Breakfast was typical of a Hampton and ran from 5 am to 10 am. We liked that it was available so early. Upon arrival (around 6 pm), we found free coffee, tea, and cookies available which was nice. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is a short distance (under 6 min.) from I-15. There are several restaurants within a short drive (10 min. or less) from the hotel. We will stay here the next time we are in Barstow.

I was on the road for 16 hours. After a long day of fighting traffic, I decided to stop. Unfamiliar with the area, I looked up Best Western. The person was very helpful in making a reservation. 30 min later, I checked in at the desk which would have been around 1am. The person at the desk was very friendly, helpful and fast. It was great to see a smiling person with a great personality. The room was as expected, very clean, nothing out of place. I would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserThe breakfast is rich, no beef, but intestines, eggs, bread, fruit, salad, etc. I didn’t ask for an extra bed. We are a 1.8-meter large bed room. The hotel is located halfway from the Grand Canyon to Los Angeles. There are shopping places such as Wal-Mart and Outlets around. The location is very convenient. There are many parking spaces and free parking. . Cost-effective.

GGUOQIANGThe location of the hotel is very good, under the high speed, press Google Navigation to open directly to the lobby door. When I saw a piece of warning sign such as stealing and arrogance, I was a little hesitant. At this time, I came to a security guard and told us not to worry. The parking lot here has been guarded by security guards. I can safely stop parking. Later, I found that many parking lots in the United States have similar. The warning sign seems to be the rule). The hotel has an elevator and it is big enough (the elevators in European hotels are too small). The breakfast was quite rich, at least there was meat (this is no match for domestic or Japanese, Europe). It was very interesting to make waffles for the first time. Later, I found that many American hotels have their own waffles. The air conditioning sound of the room was a bit loud. After studying it for a while, I still couldn't turn it off. I was tired and fell asleep. The next day I got up late, just to catch the opposite outlet to open the door, first go shopping, understand the downside. There is a gas station on the side of the hotel, which is very convenient.

KkikiwttThis chain motel is considered to be a very small area. Moreover, the smoke-free room was required to add $18, and did not inform. The most important thing is to book the price on Ctrip. GGuest Usereven though there is a train you just have to bring ear plugs otherwise great I recommend to go there. they will do everything to make you happy. just keep trying to get used to it . if things aren't at your expectations they will try to make it better
