The hotel’s peaceful, beautifully designed spaces make it such a relaxing stay. Breakfast is great too. Honestly, I couldn’t recommend this place more. Their bakery is also first class, so good!

GGuest UserThe hotel is small, with less than 20 rooms, and it is very distinctive, with a lot of bird cages hung, and it feels like birds and flowers. The room size is small, but it is enough for one person. There is a large platform on the top floor of the hotel, and it is quite comfortable to sit and sunbathe in the afternoon. It is very close to the square in the city center, a three-minute walk. The only downside is that it costs 175 pesos a day to park at the hotel

Tuvimos una mala impresión de la gente del estacionamiento con el que se tiene convenio y nos apoyaron para guardar las motocicletas durante la noche. Gabriel y Juan Carlos en el restaurante fueron excelentes. Estuvimos en la habitación 5 y el único detalle es que el agua caliente tarda en salir. Un gran lugar céntrico, bien ubicado, pequeño y acogedor. Seguro regresaremos.

GGuest UserWe visited Oaxaca City in September, 2025, and stayed for a week at La Catrina de Alcalá. We had a King room towards the back of the building. The room was large with plenty of room to store all of our items (clothes, toiletries, backpacks, umbrellas, etc.) and was very quiet. The bedding was comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The included breakfast was continental, so we ordered off the menu a couple of times. All the food was delicious and fresh. I especially enjoyed the Chicken Mole Tamale. Finally, the location was perfect! The hotel is located on a pedestrian only street in the heart of the city. We were able to walk everywhere! We would definitely recommend this hotel and will return on our next trip to Oaxaca City.

HHannahFrühstück war lecker, lage auch perfekt, bin aber sehr unzufrieden mit der Sauberkeit des Hotels und die Spülung hat leider auch nicht ganz so gut funktioniert.
