Great hotel. Staff are super friendly and good location. Shuttle is also very useful to the market. Clean rooms and nice pool. Good workout facilities and good food.

The hotel lobby is in front and the swimming pool is behind the lobby. It is good for swimming or playing with children. There are two-story accommodation rooms on both sides of the swimming pool with balconies. The room area is generally large. I like it very much. Service: The boss is a fellow Yunnan compatriot. The service is warm and thoughtful. There will be warm reminders for accommodation after booking the hotel. Going to the hotel is simple and clear. There are also airport pick-up or drop-off services. We went to the hotel according to the boss's instructions at the time. We were dropped off at the station on the return trip. It is very convenient to go to Yangren Street. There are cars to pick up at any time, less than 10 minutes by car. A one-day tour (for 2 people) is provided for a two-night stay: This special project is very good, including the visit to the West Falls, the Grand Palace, etc. When you come back from the waterfall, you can drink rice field coffee and eat Laotian specialties. Of course, you have to pay for your own meals. The food the boss took us to eat was delicious and cheap, very comfortable. In the morning, we went to participate in alms and visit the night market. The boss also accompanied us throughout the whole process. The whole process was like a private tour guide. The arrangement was very thoughtful, including boat rides and elephant rides. The boss can arrange thoughtfully, of course, the cost is at your own expense. Overall, I am very satisfied and comfortable.

This is a very beautiful hotel. It has a great history. The restaurant is the famous Lotus Restaurant. I heard that Obama also had a meal here. The location is very good and convenient to go everywhere. The service is also great. Each guest is given a drink coupon, which is a very good experience.

I love this big swimming pool so much. It's so comfortable to lie on the chair at night. I like the quietness here, away from the hustle and bustle of the night market. A bowl of hot noodle soup in the morning is still a very good experience. Time is tight this time, and I will bring my family to experience it next time. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic to help take the luggage to the room. The front desk staff can speak Chinese and solve my language concerns. It is a hotel with super cost-effectiveness. I recommend everyone to give it a try. It is exotic and trendy, very suitable for taking children on vacation.

The room is very good, the traffic to go to the foreigner street to go around, not so convenient, the service is very good, the manager English is great, the breakfast is very exquisite and delicious, there are bicycles in the store to borrow out.

I love everything about this hotel. I actually booked it at the very last minute as I had to cancelled the other hotel due to incorrect date. Room was so spacious, very clean, and the breakfast spread was not bad too. If you are vegetarian, you may ask them to make new ones if they have it. Pool was really great, staff was extremely helpful & friendly. Do not worry if the location is just a bit out of the centre, they have free shuttle services & pick up too. The spa massage was amazing too. And i love that they also provide free shuttle to train station or airport if you stay 2 nights. Do not hesitate to book this hotel!

The ancient city of Luang Prabang, a world heritage site, is the birthplace of Theravada Buddhism in Laos. After thousands of years, Buddhism has left a deep imprint on this city. Avani+ in Luang Prabang is a two-story luxury hotel with 53 modern classic rooms, inspired by the traditional Laotian and French colonial architecture in the town. The history of the venue dates back to 1941, when it was a French officer's dormitory, and was converted into the Phu Si Hotel by the Lao government in 1961. Aman founder Adrian Zecha is particularly fond of Luang Prabang. He feels that Jakarta, Singapore and Hong Kong, where he has lived, are becoming more and more fast-paced and modern, and only Luang Prabang gives him the feeling of living in Indonesia as a child. In addition to Amantaka and his private residence, the first hotel of the new brand Azerai was also opened in Luang Prabang in 2017. Beautiful hotel and amazing staff.  Bedroom and bathroom really good.    Staff were fantastic.   What we didn’t like was the extremely slow WiFi 1,7 mbps is just not acceptable in these days and age.  No iron or laundry facilities , breakfast was more than average offering Vietnamese dishes instead of Lao, very disappointing.  We checked out after 1 night when we had booked 6.

Our stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points. Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating. However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all. Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The “local” Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do. Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards. Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering I’ve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space. We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.

I recently stayed at Choasis in Luang Prabang, and it was truly fantastic. The hotel is brand new and the quality of everything – from the rooms to the decor – was top-notch. Located in a very peaceful part of the city, it’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. Francis, the manager, was amazing and went out of his way to make my stay memorable. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with plenty of options, and the food from the restaurant was incredible – the Thai chef really knows how to create great flavors. I highly recommend Choasis to anyone visiting Luang Prabang!
