Jeju bus terminal stop-beware of the separate blue and green bus stop so you wont missed your bus. Naver map and Tmoney help your journey around Jeju. Mr. Peter, himself, messaged me first through trip.com about the time I will be there at their place, which I was hesitant to do that but luckily, he did and that was surprising. Also, he let me leave my luggage in advance. Staff speaks English well and hospitable. As soon as you check in, staff will provide the stuff you needed for your stay in the room plus the indoor slipper to switch with your outdoor shoes to be placed in the closet at the entrance. NO elevator but the girl staff offered to carry my luggage to the room. There is an area in the 2nd floor for dining—designated place to eat—with microwave, water dispenser, dishes and utensils, fridge and freezer, you can cook and wash your dishes. There is a small area designated for reading/relaxing in the 3rd floor, where the entrance to the rooftop(to watch Hallasan sunset and for 8pm projector movie night). 2nd floor for male guests while 3rd fl for females. Sleeping room(is really for sleeping, no room to stretch only in your bed—is very comfortable with one outlet and a lamp) is separate from the shower area with slippers(washbasin/sink and enclosed shower stalls-body wash & shampoo) from the toilet stalls and from the powder/mirror area with hairdryer. If you have a small to medium luggage, you can store it under the bunkbed. There are lockers in every room (a normal school backpack could fit). Walking distance to Yongduam Rock to Yeongyon Bridge to boardwalk for coastal walks—great cafes to watch waves & landing planes and local resto—to Jungang Shopping Street to Jungang Underground Mall to Dongmun Market. If you like mochi, next door of the Mir is delicious and affordable Jeju Mochi which is priced twice in the airport. Convenience stores (7-eleven next door), chicken&fries and local resto around the corner. Mr. Peter met him during the breakfast. He prepared the breakfast—egg sandwich which comes w/black coffee or orange juice. He is nice and approachable. The Mir Guesthouse’s is designed from the Yongduam Rock, it is cool, clean, and magnificent. Solo traveling is fun—meeting new faces, different nationalities, cultures, and witness the amazing nature’s wonder.

Five stars all around! We had a fantastic day and I'd definitely want to stay here again if I come back. The location isn't too far from the city center, about a 50-60 RMB taxi ride. It's at the foot of Hallasan Mountain, with a small forest next to the hotel for walks and even a horse riding stable nearby. The hotel has a heated pool and a sauna. The breakfast quality was excellent, and we also had dinner at the hotel, which was superb. The salmon and crab legs were incredibly fresh, and the steak was high quality. We were very satisfied with the meal. We stayed in the new Amber wing. The room was very comfortable with underfloor heating. Bulgari toiletries, a lighted makeup mirror, and a heated towel rack were provided, along with bath sponges – great attention to detail! The in-room minibar offered free coffee and tea, with other items for a charge. The room even had its own private onsen, and soaking in it at night in the mountains was incredibly relaxing. Upon check-in, we received orange slices as a welcome gift. The service was also excellent, with very kind staff. They helped us with our luggage, and we could arrange for a buggy pick-up and drop-off anytime. When we requested ice, it arrived quickly and was a huge bag.

A very nice hotel with spacious rooms and a great design aesthetic. The bed was just right, not too soft, not too hard. The Balmain toiletries were quite good. Most of the mini-bar items incurred a charge ⚠️, which was a bit inconvenient when I wanted a drink in the evening without leaving the room. The hotel pool was beautiful; I recommend going at dusk to catch the sunset. There were quite a few children in the pool, which slightly impacted the experience. Upon arrival, the lobby was bustling, likely due to casino-goers congregating there, making it feel a bit chaotic. It was noticeably quieter returning to the hotel in the evening. There are plenty of good eateries near the hotel to explore.

1. **Location is divine, a shopper's paradise!** The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Yeon-dong. Step out and cross the street, and you're right on Baojian Road Pedestrian Street, bustling with coffee shops, black pork BBQ restaurants, and Olive Young stores. Shilla Duty Free Shop is a mere 3-minute walk away, and Lotte Duty Free is a 10-minute stroll. This means you can easily drop off your purchases at the hotel instead of lugging them around. Getting to the airport by taxi takes only 10 minutes, and there's a bus stop right outside for super convenient access to Aewol and Seongsan. Plus, there's a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, so you can grab water, snacks, or a universal adapter anytime you need. 2. **Clean and well-equipped** The overall decor is a minimalist Korean light luxury style. The entire room is meticulously cleaned daily, and bedding and towels are changed promptly. 3. **Travel amenities make life easy** The top floor boasts a buffet breakfast restaurant offering a wide array of Western, Chinese, and Korean dishes. Seafood porridge, gimbap, toast, and various fruits are plentiful – perfect for a filling meal before heading out to the duty-free shops. The hotel also offers airport pick-up reservations and large luggage storage, making it ideal for short trips for couples or friends traveling together. **However!** The overall room space is quite small. The basic room type isn't very spacious, and if you have two large 28-inch suitcases, the aisle becomes very cramped once they're open, leaving no extra moving space. It can feel a bit tight for multiple people with a lot of luggage. It's fine for solo travelers or couples traveling light, but I wouldn't recommend the basic room for families. The shower only allows you to stand in the bathtub; there's no separate shower area. **Bathroom lacks a separate shower area:** You have to step into the bathtub to shower. With only a half-height glass panel to block water, powerful water pressure can easily splash water onto the floor, leading to puddles after showering. The anti-slip properties aren't great, and long-haired women might find it difficult to move around comfortably while washing their hair. For those who prioritize dry-wet separation, proceed with caution.

Service: 🏨 The hotel staff speaks Chinese, which made communication easy. Cleanliness: 🪥 Remember to bring your own toiletries as the hotel doesn't provide them, though you can purchase them for about 1000 Korean Won per bag (around 4 RMB). The room was cleaned daily. Facilities: The hotel has a laundry room, though it's not very big, so you might have to wait if others are using it. The laundry detergent smells lovely. Environment: The room was very clean and quite spacious. The sink, however, was a bit... something (you'll understand when you see it). There were plenty of hangers, which I loved – perfect for anyone who likes to hang their clothes to dry. The area nearby is full of great food. We stumbled upon a seafood restaurant and, through a mix of English, Korean, and Chinese, managed to order and enjoy the raw squid recommended by the staff!

This was our last night in Jeju Island. The room was very clean and tidy, and the underfloor heating made it very warm. The facilities were new, and the location was great, right next to a pedestrian street, perfect for a stroll. However, maybe because our stay was so short, I didn't find any unique little shops. There were plenty of BBQ and potato pork backbone soup restaurants though. Both check-in and check-out were very convenient. It's also very close to the airport; we actually walked there the next morning.

We booked a quad room, and it offered fantastic value for money! The room was impeccably clean and very spacious. The shower and other facilities were excellent. The staff at the front desk, especially the gentleman, was incredibly friendly and helpful. Housekeeping also did a superb job, keeping everything spotless. There are microwaves available on the second and fourth floors, and purified water dispensers on every floor for guests to use – truly a gem of a hotel! I'll definitely choose New Jeju Hotel again on my next trip to Jeju Island and highly recommend it to my friends. Its location is super convenient; it's very close to various shopping centers like E-Mart and Daiso, as well as Baojian-ro, and a wide array of restaurants including fried chicken, Jajangmyeon, hairtail fish, Korean beef, and black pork. Plus, there are three or four convenience stores nearby. You'll truly feel at home here, and it's absolutely superb value for money! ^_^

Wow I really enjoyed the stay here mainly because I had the whole room to myself and also the location is very quiet and it is very near to the beach! Toilet is attached to the room so I think that’s a plus for me!

This place is honestly not as bad as the reviews make it seem. The room is your average Korean hostel room (no curtains tho). The bathroom is a bit messy but overall not dirty. The location is very convenient if you are planning to explore the island by bus. For the very little price paid, I would stay at this hostel again!
