Central Lombok Regency Hotels with Bars

Magnificent hotel! The staff are incredibly kind, especially Ali, the hotel manager, who took exceptionally good care of us. The breakfast was very good, the pool was large and warm, and the room was very spacious, extremely clean, with excellent bedding. The hotel's location is top-notch! It's just a 10-minute walk from the main street with restaurants, shops, and more! Everything is perfect; it's a new hotel, only 6 months old, quiet but with a superb location! Thank you to Ali, the super manager, and to all the staff members for their great kindness and attentiveness 👍

Hotel itself is beautiful with well-kept grounds and a gorgeous pool area that feels really relaxing. It’s in a great location, right on the main strip so everything is within walking distance, but tucked away enough that it still feels peaceful and quiet. Rooms are huge, modern, and very clean, with daily housekeeping and fresh water provided. Tea/coffee facilities, a mini fridge, and a TV with plenty of channels. Staff were amazing - so friendly, helpful, and quick to assist with anything. I did have an issue with noise from internal building works, but the team handled it well, moving me quickly and even gave me a complimentary upgrade, which I really appreciated. Facilities overall were great. Pools are beautiful with plenty of sun loungers. The pool at the back of the resort was quieter (and away from nearby building works). Food was also really good - breakfast was tasty, although for the first few days it was à la carte rather than buffet due to lower occupancy, which was a little disappointing, but there was still plenty of food. Lots of convenient extras too - room service available as well as laundry service (although a bit pricey). The hotel can also arrange taxis to the airport (around 250K IDR, cash only), as Grab doesn’t seem to operate in the area. Location-wise, it’s perfect. Great restaurants nearby like Cantina Mexicana and KRNK for a quick bite, plus a supermarket right next door and plenty of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. **Tip:** try to request a room in the newer part of the hotel at the back of the resort - it’s quieter (away from building works) and more updated.

What we loved: The restaurant food is absolutely delicious — we highly recommend their Ayam Taliwang, easily the best we’ve tasted so far! The breakfast spread is also excellent: alongside a great range of standard options, they serve Arabian roti with wonderful condiments including hummus, labneh, and baba ganoush, plus a healthy corner offering nuts, quinoa, freshly squeezed juices, and homemade jamu (traditional Indonesian herbal drink). We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Kuta, making it easy to explore local dining and spas. Areas for improvement: - Shower water pressure is a little low. - The toilet and shower share a single door, which can be inconvenient for guests other than couples. - There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance, so a short drive is always needed.

For the last few days of my Indonesia trip, to escape the crowds of Bali, I came to Lombok to slow down and recuperate. I stayed one night at the Sheraton in Senggigi, and the service was so attentive, detailed, and thoughtful that it was unforgettable. Arriving at this hotel, there was a huge drop-off in experience right from the moment we walked in. First, it was very unusual for them to take us to our room with our luggage to check-in. They led us to a small room on the second floor in a corner of the backyard. It was so tiny that there wasn't even space to open our suitcases. After completing the formalities, they opened the curtains and told us they were sorry, but there was construction going on at a neighbor's site outside the window, which might be disturbing. I said that wasn't right; I had clearly booked a mountain view or garden view room, which was also larger than this. This was obviously not the room I booked. My husband spent a long time discussing it with the check-in staff, and they agreed to change our room. They showed us a larger room and said we'd have to pay extra, which we didn't accept. We insisted on a room with the same conditions and price as our original booking. We then had to wait in the courtyard for a long time again. Finally, we were moved to a room that was more or less comparable to what we had booked. It felt like there was a clear差別待遇 (differential treatment) between Chinese tourists and Caucasian tourists; if you don't argue your case, you'll be assigned the worst rooms that don't meet booking standards. After that, the service attitude was still acceptable. However, the next day, I asked the housekeeping staff for two extra bottles of water. When I returned to the room, I saw a trash can filled with two bottles of water placed on the bed. I don't know what that meant. I originally wanted to be more eco-friendly and not change the bedding, but now I had no choice but to ask them to change all the linens. The hotel's location is quiet yet convenient. The design style and interior space are quite good, and the breakfast at the restaurant has long serving hours and decent taste. It's not far from the beach, and it's convenient for shopping and dining nearby, but the overall prices are a bit high.

View: 4.5/5 Villa size: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Maintenance: 2/5 This villa is as big as it looks on their website with amazing view. However, it is quite rundown and needs a refresh, especially the toilet.  The toilet bowl has stains and the overall bathing area are mouldy. I understand we’re in the middle of nature but I would expect better maintenance. Plus the water pressure was low. Maybe it was the rainy season (it rains every evening/overnight), the area is filled with millipedes everywhere, the worst part is that they are in the villa as the doors/sliding doors have gaps. We’re fine if the insects stay outdoors but the millipedes enter our villa every single time and they appear at every creak of the villa. It was tiring trying to keep them out of the villa.  The redeeming factor for the villa is really the view, the Indonesian cuisine at Aura and their prompt service. The view is as amazing as you see on their website, if not more. And they have exceptional food at their restaurant and the service was superb. And yes, there are monkeys in the morning and evenings. The staffs will inform you upon check-in, to lock the doors and avoid eye contact.

We really liked staying in this hotel, the staff are very responsive, the food in the restaurant is always delicious. Silent, quiet place. To the sea on the moped literally 3-4 minutes. We'll be happy to return 😊

Petugasnya baik, ramah dan helpfull. Tempatnya banyak ngadain acara juga, nawarin event bbq atau belajar surfing. Dapet kamar yg paling pojok, fasilitasnya standar, dapet bed di atas jd kalo geraknya extra ada suara krekek krekek besinya. Terus yg sangat disayangkan adalah bidet toiletnya kecil bgt keluarnya😭 trs yg mandi ada yg agak jorok gitu kek bekas lulurannya gak kesiram ngalir kebuang😢 mgkn karena mostly foreigner semua yg book disini kali ya, yaudala

Great stay at JM Hostel Kuta Lombok! The place is clean, comfortable. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the location is convenient for exploring Kuta Lombok. A nice and affordable place to stay.

The place is a bit distant from others as it is on top of the hill and the breakfast is a one plate course. Do take note that the jacuzzi doesnt warm up. It’s more of a chill pool However the view is nice, The room is nice, the staff are top. I would most definitely stay here again.
