"The place was amazing and situated in a great place. Very near to a lot of amenities like bars and restaurants plus some shops. The staff were amazing and so polite. We was made to feel like we was at home. Our room was huge and had a great view of the gardens. Breakfast was outstanding and very tasty highly recommend. We will definitely be staying here again in the future"

Booked the love snug for my wife's 30th and honestly couldnt of been better so helpful an welcomed with a smile by who i think was the owner she was amazing. Nothing was to much trouble as a whole probably one of the best weekends away weve been on and mostly because of this hotel would recommend and will definitely be back again 100% big thank you for making our weekend to windamere so special. Lots of love the Rileys X (Scousers)

The room was very nice, with swan bath towels. The environment was nice, between two towns, with the bus station just outside. The shop was run by a couple, the breakfast was delicious and the quantity was large, so make reservations in advance. A good stay experience.

This is a really beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, about a 5-minute drive from the lake. The facilities are complete and well-equipped. It's very clean and tidy. The environment is top-notch, elegant and attractive. The service attitude is great. The hotel restaurant is super delicious. Friends visiting the lake district shouldn't miss this hotel.

You can see the small courtyard of the lake, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the health is very good. You can have dinner and drink in the store. Very warm. It was rainy when we arrived, so we could hangout in the hotel and not afraid of wind and rain. You can see the lake and the snowy mountains on a sunny day. Breakfast is semi-buffet, you can order a fresh meal, I recommend french toast. We saw two rabbits running outside at breakfast.

The hotel was rebuilt by the owner's parents. It is very warm and the reconstruction is very reasonable. The room is too small and the family seems particularly crowded. The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, but there are many check-in requirements, there is no elevator, and it takes a lot of effort to carry large luggage to the third floor.

The room was lovely, the right size for a couple, generally well thought out & very clean. My only challenge was not being able to sit at the desk/dressing table & see in the mirror. Due to the sloped ceiling the mirror was too low / the stool was too high. A minor inconvenience really. The shower pressure was good though which we enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly & helpful - even recommending walks & restaurants etc. Would go back.

Hotel was clean, plenty of parking, good breakfast No information in rooms, was advised that they didn’t like clutter, so any questions we had we had to go to reception to ask. No wifi, channels on tv not tuned in, had to pay to use the spa facilities.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right on the lake with unbeatable views. The hotel itself has great character and is exceptionally well-maintained and clean, exceeding expectations. Breakfast was also good, though it's à la carte. From the hotel, it's just a few minutes walk to the lakeside, shopping areas, and dining districts.

Overall, it's pretty good. The decor has a bit of an American style, giving it a warm and cozy feel. The view from the window is lovely, offering a direct look at the lake. The hotel restaurant is right downstairs, and we saw many foreigners sitting there enjoying drinks. The town itself is small; you can explore most of it within a 15-minute walk, which is very convenient. There's no mini-fridge in the room, but you can ask the front desk for ice, and they'll provide a large bucket.
