Launceston Hotels with Bars

The hotel's environment and hygiene are both good. Breakfast isn't a buffet; you get to choose from a few Western breakfast options. Parking is very convenient. It's autumn now, and the scenery outside the hotel is quite beautiful.

Full of wildness and quiet. Although it is 10km away from the city center, it is not inconvenient. The front desk is very friendly and efficient. It is said that there is laundry service, but it is a bit far, so I didn't experience it.

The surrounding environment is very good, especially suitable for family outings. All conditions are satisfactory, and it is only a 10-minute drive from the city center.

We love this hotel! We called them up few days before to confirm the amenities inside our room and also a special request too! They answered our call and sort it out super quick! The location is super convenient, close to airport. Bathroom very clean, beds are comfortable. Air conditioning maintained our room in a perfect temperature. One thing which is not important for everyone, is the dishwasher is leaking water!

We had a very early flight, and We were tired , they kindly got our room quickly ready and gave us it for midday . Nothing was too much trouble. Great meal in the restaurant for dinner and the bar and atmosphere very old world . Top stay would definitely recommend any person to book. Pauline ( Sydney northern beaches)

Good value for money. After reading few bad reviews on line about this hotel, I was expecting the worst. But really clean room and linen, good value for money, extremely helpful reception staff and a free drink on arrival- how cooler can it get. Shared common toilet but was clean.  Would surely book again if travelling for work and need accommodation.

As a solo traveller just spending one night in Launceston, The Star Hotel was the ideal choice. It is centrally located and street parking was easy to find and free between 17.30 and 09.00 next day. The room itself was compact but comfortable with an ensuite. The friendly, efficient female staff member was able to help with local advice and when I decided to have dinner later, the food and service were exceptional. Three see a couple of stair cases to negotiate but really no trouble. This place was a highlight of my travel in Tasmania.
