"A very nice hotel on the outskirts of Obidus. To the center in a hurry 12 minutes. A little outdated rooms, but one night is quite acceptable. The hotel has a very interesting interior decoration. There is a cozy interior courtyard with a view to the rural area (in the morning in the morning are heard of the pups). Not bad breakfast, but no extracts. Right opposite the hotel there is an old conduit."

"This hotel has become well known for being a book lovers haven. The hotel itself is super interesting and each room is different. My friend and I each stayed in different parts of the hotel and had very different looking and feeing rooms. Which means each time you stay there; there could be a new discovery. The hallways and corridors are lined with books. Even if you don't stay here I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant. The food was amazing every time. The only thing I would recommend if this hotel needs more cozy reading areas. They have a couple but they are not the most comfortable places to sit; although they are definitely aesthetically pleasing and fit the vibe of the hotel's history. We spent a lot of time out in the courtyard reading; there's a great spot under a large tree with canvas chairs."

"I think I've ever had the friendliest service here. Super friendly reception and great explanations and ideas. Apart from that - the hotel is in the heart of the small castle town. Unfortunately, the outsourced room smelled slightly of mold, which is why I'm deducting points here. Apart from that, everything was great."

"It wasn't just dirty, but the facility itself was over old, so the toilet was also off. ㅠㅠ It's not a 4 star, it's a 2 star, it's not soundproof at all. The door itself was just a wooden door like an old house visit. The smell of sewers came up in the bathroom and disappeared. I think I need a lot of repairs. The staff were friendly! The location was also just the main entrance of Obidus, so it was okay. The city itself is small, so I don't think I'll go again, but I don't think this hotel will go any more."

"The hotel parking lot is very small (only 7-8 parking spaces on the roadside, coordinates 39.363078, -9.156986), parking is difficult. For our stay in April 2019, only the Porta do Vale ou Senhora da Graça gate can enter the city, then turn right, follow the R. do Cel. Pacheco road to the top and then turn right, continue for 50 meters until There is a parking space under the castle. The front desk is in the garden at the end of the road. There are signs that can't go wrong. When leaving the city, first return to the entrance of Porta do Vale ou Senhora da Graça, then turn right (Graça gate can only enter the city, can not leave the city), south of the city wall all the way to the Portal de Óbidos gate (the gate Can only go out of town, can not enter the city), and then out of the city. There may be many steps from the parking space to the hotel room. It is recommended that older or infirm people arrange the front desk baggage helper (please pay the appropriate tip. For reference, if we have two large luggage, we will pay a 5 Euro tip). The 24-hour front desk staff is warm, professional and satisfied. The interior facilities of the room are in line with the website description and are comfortable. Satisfied with the waiter cleaning, emptying the trash, changing towels and making the bed in the daily room. The shower hot water is very good, no worries. No slippers in the room, please bring your own. The hotel restaurant view and service are very good. Rich breakfast and high quality. Beautiful dinner. The lounge is very comfortable and don't forget to enjoy it. There is a hidden door in the restaurant that leads directly to the top of the castle, so you can climb the high view and not miss it. Before the arrival of the early morning tide of Obidus and the retreat of the evening crowd, the light is soft, quiet and full of the original taste of the ancient city, which is worthy of sweeping the street. The inner city is not big, there are only three main streets in the north-south direction, and it takes only 1-1.5 hours to walk around."

"The location is great and the suites are also. There are only a few repairs: the refrigerator is near bed and it makes a lot of noise during the night. It gets a lot of clarity in the suite very soon. The suites are very good (the bathroom wasn't very hot, but we're not sure it's very cold at night) and the beds are very comfortable. Another suggestion would be to have a spa space and/or activities for co-existence, even if it were table games, to do something with the greenhouse crops. The dinner in the restaurant was great, we recommend."
