"Great roof top adults only hotel in PV - walking distance to shopping, restaurants, malacon, and beaches. Daily dj are the pool was awesome! HEATED pool was a nice surprise. Lacking normal amenities in the rooms like face cloths and proper hair care products as well they lose points for no coffee maker or kettle in room and coffee in the lobby until 11am with coffeemate instead of actual milk or cream- these little touches would have made my review a 5 star for sure."

"Tropicana is a family oriented Mexican hotel right on the beach. It's nestled into the *** area of Puerto Vallarta at the edge of the historic downtown area. The rooms were large but Spartan. We had a great balcony with a view of the ocean. The public areas like the pool, restaurant, gardens, and lobby were gorgeous. The hotel is a great deal too. Nothing seemed overpriced...and there were lots of great restaurants around. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The location of the hotel is good, the attention of the staff was very regular, the room was clean, the television is very small and the Internet service is lousy, the signal in the room barely reaches it, it is very low and it is extremely slow."

The decoration of the place is warm and tasteful, giving us a feeling of being ”at home”. The location of the place gives rise to going for a walk to the Marina, both day and night, with complete security, and all the places we went are very close, 5, 10, 15 minutes by car: Walmart, Shopping Centers , Malecon, Downtown, Restaurants, Maritime Terminal. The access to the beach is a delight, with unbeatable views of the sunset. We enjoy the extra activities that the stay at the hotel includes, and the fact that they are not invasive to our moments of being. The food is very good, and although the price is a bit high, it is worth staying **** at the hotel to eat. I want to close by congratulating the Customer Service program that the hotel has, since it is surely an administration that takes its time to train all the people who work there in this area. Customer service makes the difference in an experience, and that is what we look for when going on vacation, living pleasant and memorable experiences. "The view from the room is great, whatever. It was great because I could wake up in the morning with the sound of the waves. It is very convenient to enter the sea because you can borrow beach parasols and towels. The price is reasonable, but the restaurant is located at the beach front, so you can also eat and drink beer while entering the sea. I will definitely stay if I go to PV again."

"The hotel stands out for the location and very family run hotel. Keep in mind for a 3 star hotel the rooms are small and outdated but for the price your getting a very good deal for PV compared to many places. The Taxi/Uber are available, the beach is walking distance, lots of amazing places to eat and shop, lots of night life and entertainment, and the buses are available for public transport anywhere in PV which i fou8nd to be the most convenient. Simply the location is the best ever and that is what your paying for the most in the price. The hotel staff cleans the room really well the the courtyard is pretty beautiful especially at night. The AC is so cold and well maintained that you wont be able to sleep on low setting. The staffs are very friendly and check-in and out was a breeze. Overall I am very happy with my stay here, next time ill be staying here again. "
