Family-friendly Hotels in Baoting

Location: hotel is located far from Sanya, in the middle of the Forest which is good for hiking to Qixian Mountain and also that gives you a totally different experience than the rest of places near Sanya. On the other hand it is quite far and it takes some time to get here by DiDi from Yalong bay. Hiking: The hotel staff helped us arrange the transportation to the Qixian Mountain entrance (40rmb both ways/per person). The driver was extremely friendly. Then we begin our hike which is quite challenging. It takes around 4 hours for the whole trip. On the top you can climb by using chains which is cool. Hot springs: Hotel has a few hot springs which are pleasant to enjoy but quite small and also in the evening the guard took the water away from the hot spring at 7pm😅 Swimming pool: swimming pool with the palm tree is absolutely amazing and great for taking pictures. Restaurant: near lobby there is one restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine but I wouldn’t recommend it. We waited for so long for a few dishes and the staff felt so uncomfortable dealing with foreigners. The other restaurant 7/5 is much better. We had a nice lunch there. In general we enjoyed our stay here but we were a little disappointed with the hotel’s amenities which were old. Everything looks much better in the photos than in real life. I’m not sure if I would recommend this place.

The hotel environment is very good, parking is convenient, very quiet, the smart robot leads the way to the room, the room is quite standard, with a balcony. The bed is very comfortable and soft. The hot spring has an outdoor public pool; there is also an indoor one, divided by men and women, and you need to register to enter; there is also a small pool in the guest room, where you can soak yourself. The breakfast is average, with not many varieties. Two tickets to the betel nut garden are also given when booking a room.

It was a pleasant stay experience. The scenery is very beautiful. You can see Qixian Mountain from the room. The surrounding greenery is also quite good. It seems to live in a tropical rainforest. The room is a bit old, but it doesn't affect the check-in experience. The variety of breakfast is slightly less, it can be increased appropriately.

The hotel is in the community, the environment is very good, the room is large, the layout is reasonable, especially there are two bathrooms very convenient for a family to stay, the small problem is that the network speed is a bit slow, will stay next time.

The room is large and the hygiene is very clean! The pillows sleep very comfortably, the softness of the bed is suitable, the experience is good, score 5 points, and stay next time. Friends travel is a good choice.

We only stayed here one night (we were visiting Yanoda Rainforest Park) and we were pretty tired from the day’s activities so we weren’t able to get a strong impression of the property. However, it did seem quite nice compared to some other places in the area, and the on-site restaurant was a plus. All of the buildings look fairly new and the style of the rooms is neat. We saw a pool on the first floor, but it’s not clear if it was a private pool or accessible to all guests. There are some small shops in the compound selling drinks and snacks that are open pretty late. A plus of this property is that it’s close to the park, though you should definitely get a car to take you to the ticket office since Yanoda Park has a very long driveway at the property entrance.

Overall, it is a pretty good hotel. You can see that it has international standards in design and hardware. The housekeeper, Xiao Liu, is also very enthusiastic. You can ask the hotel front desk to send a car to pick you up when you go in and out, which is very convenient. This time I stayed in the single-family area, which is relatively quiet, but the only drawback is that there are relatively more mosquitoes and insects, and ants, geckos and the like can be seen everywhere. It is recommended to stay in the main building area, which is relatively better. The scenery is also better in the main building, and there is also a swimming pool. I also experienced the free travel photography and cruise, which are still good. It is a niche but very good hotel. If it can improve in soft services and environmental disinfection in the future, it can be compared with some international chain hotels.

The inn is only 400 meters away from the Betel Nut Valley, which is convenient for tourists without self-driving cars to visit the Betel Nut Valley. The pastoral room I booked is facing the Betel Nut Valley Scenic Area. The air is good and the scenery is beautiful. The last three photos are the scenery taken at the door of the room. Too bad it was raining and foggy. The waiters at the front desk and the shuttle bus are enthusiastic and have a good attitude. They take the initiative to explain the content of the scenic spot, so that I can appreciate the culture and customs of the Li and Miao people in the scenic spot. The driving guy picked us up and sent us without hesitation, and took the initiative to dry the rainwater on the car seat for us.

The room facilities are complete, the environment is good, and the service attitude is warm. I have recommended it to my friends and will stay in this hotel next time I come to Baoting.

Environment: Nothing to say, living in the rainforest, there are sounds of flowing water, birds singing, wind and silence. There are few private hot springs, and there are bird's nest hot springs. There are pictures. Many of them are in the air and on the trees, so the layout is very particular. I also took pictures of the restaurant. The food is also good. I like the wild vegetable meatballs. The fried chicken with leaves is also good. Service: Nothing to say. Because I checked in after climbing Qixianling, I was very tired, so I took a hot spring bath in the morning and evening. I called the front desk a lot, and they were very patient every time. Whenever I met a service staff on the way, they would greet me. They had all the services they should have, and there were also unexpected surprises. Facilities: It's a hotel of some years, and it's good to keep it in this state. Hygiene: Nothing to say. I will continue here next time
