Wat Arun View Hotel was the hotel I was most looking forward to on my trip to Thailand. The room was so comfortable and the view was as good as the photos. There was no elevator, but I left my luggage in the morning, so when I checked in, they put it in the room in advance, and it was great thanks to the kind staff in many ways. I skipped it because I didn't know it included breakfast, so I can't comment on the breakfast, but it seems that the restaurant on the first floor is already well-known as a restaurant near the royal palace. There is also a water boat dock nearby, so it was fun to go by water boat instead of taking a taxi.

As a frequently return guest, this homey hotel is my most favourite staycation venue in Bangkok. I got a chance to revisit this hotel right after the owner family resumes their operation after thoughtful renovation. The atmosphere remains warmest as ever. All rooms get equipped with premium mattress&beddings, toiletries and stylish hairdryers, which definitely offset my usual habits of carrying my own Dyson hairdryer and bath towel. Besides, free drinking water provided outweighs many hotels I’ve stayed, and the bedside power plugs are quite user-friendly. I got confused whether I’ve stayed at a high-end resort beyond the hotel’s boutique concept. I ended up spending a whole day at Inn A Day, dining at Mugjee (downstairs restaurant) and chilling after sunset on their chic rooftop bar. No doubt, if anyone adores the view of Bangkok’s hottest iconic Wat Arun like me, you will find no other hotels in Wat Pho area excel Inn A Day’s from various perspectives. I would always prioritise my staycation at Inn A Day and I wish their future guests would feel impressed beyond what I wrote down here😊

I really love this family run boutique inn. It has so much character and you really feel immersed in old Bangkok. The design is interesting and meaningful. Sure, it looks good for the 'gram, but more importantly it feels authentic. This is my second time staying here and I hope to return for future trips to Bangkok. The family who manages it is so kind. They are quiet and give you as much space as you want, but are also readily available to help out in any way. They give honest insider advice, so you can be sure you're in good hands. The rooms are character filled. The bed and pillows are truly the most comfortable I've had in Thailand. The views over the river are out of this world. While there is construction on the pier in front, there is no noise at all. There is just a green transparent fabric shade over the construction, but if it gets in the way of your photos from your room window / balcony you can go to the top floor of the hotel to take unobstructed photos from the open lounge space. Other reviewers have mentioned the rooms are a bit dark - it's true there isn't much by way of artificial lighting, but the natural light from the windows overlooking the river is usually sufficient. There is a console shelf in the room I stayed in (4pm) that I used as a laptop desk. Many of the hotels in the area have a restaurant or cafe between them and the river, or they have a rooftop restaurant, which means there is a bit of noise. Here the rooms are truly riverfront, and the public restaurant is on the main floor, so the rooms are quite peaceful aside from the boat noises, which I enjoy. The breakfast is also delicious and very filling.

We stayed here as a family of 5. Modern hotel but with a lovely vintage feel. Perfect location, tucked away down a little side street on the river bank within an easy walk to all the major temples. Both of our rooms had an amazing view over the river and Wat Arun and one of the rooms had a beautiful free standing wooden bath looking out at the Bangkok skyline. Just devine. Breakfast was very good and the owners were friendly. The area felt quite colonial, more cosy and authentic than a lot of Bangkok, some nice juice bars and roof top cocktail bars nearby. It gets very quiet after about 9.30pm but only a tuktuk ride away from kohsarn rd in one direction and china town in the other. Also close to the subway, approx 6min walk.

We just spent 3 nights here and it was far beyond expectations. The location is perfect, just a couple minutes walk to wat pho, the grand palace and the pier to go to wat arun. Very well located for tourist activities. Our room 2pm had an incredible view all day and a lovely balcony for sunset. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and clearly very popular. There are also masses of other cafés and restaurants on the street and surrounding areas. Hotel staff were very helpful, worth noting various levels of English. The riverside location is great and not loud at night. However, if you're planning a late lie in you might struggle with the boat noises by 8 or 9am. It didn't cause us any trouble we were there to see the city not sleep anyway.

This boutique hotel is in the perfect location! Walk to Wot Pho and The Grand Palace and take the ferry across to Wat Arun. There are fabulous rooftop bars only an alley away but definitely come back to eat at the hotel as the food is sensational. Our room, 1.00pm had stunning views across to Wat Arun but pack some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper as, though the barges by day and dinner cruises by night make a great visual spectacle, they are a little noisy. The family operating the inn are also so friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic short stay at Inn a day. The hotel is situated right on the river, overlooking temples, which was absolutely beautiful. Do try the food, too as it’s great. The staff are very helpful and friendly. As it’s on the river, do be prepared for a lot of activity and noise, but it does quieten down later at night, apart from the tug boats passing through the night. We will definitely come again.

The beds were very comfortable. Bangkok is really hot but the AC in the rooms worked spectacularly. This hotel has very steep stair but the owners help you with your luggage and are the sweetest people ever!!!! They gave us water when they saw us hot and sweaty and for breakfast were more than generous. Would recommend this to anyone! Very vintage look and amazing views from the Inn. Lovely stay and would come again.

We had some drinks and food here. Everything was super good! The highlight was when they were asking us to see their terrace, wich was on top of the bulding. They have an excellent view across the river and to Wat Arun!

This place is located just behind Wat Pho (reclining Buddha) and with views of Wat Arun from the room balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was great and so is the restaurant food (very good). Room design is very cool and very clean. Had a room with balcony and view of Wat Arun There are so many temples and places in walking distance or a short tuk-tuk or taxi ride near by that you will not run out. This one of the few hotels I would consider returning to.

Stumbled upon this place by accident. Ended up having dinner there. As we are both vegetarian there was lots of choice as each dish could be done with tofu. Excellent food. Really interesting history to the property with one of the original owners running it. The place has been done up beautifully, would highly recommend!

I loved my stay here! My room, 2 PM, was a little small but had all the comforts and mod-cons I needed and a phenomenal view towards Wat Arun. Elsewhere, I really enjoyed the quirky decor, the lovely breakfasts, the funky cafes (highly recommend Tonkin Annam) in the neighbourhood, and the ease of access to Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Sanam Chai MRT, and ferry piers. I could even walk down to Khaosan and Chinatown in under 20 minutes. I'd also make special mention of the family running the hotel - they're very warm and caring - as well as the value for money. That said, I'd recommend prospective stay-ers to keep in mind that the hotel lacks an elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. Staff is happy to help with luggage, but if you have mobility issues, this is (unfortunately) not the place for you. Would I change anything? Not really - except for maybe adding skid-strips on the stairs to prevent from slipping. Would I return? YES!

Le personnel est au petit soin. La chambre est atypique, avec une vue magnifique sur Wat Arun. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel. La proximité avec certains temples et le grand palais est parfaite pour le faire à pied. Je recommande vivement !
