To be fair, for this price, the hotel is very acceptable. The breakfast spread was good, with a choice of Thai and continental dishes. We were initially offered a room which I had to reject for 2 reasons - a bath tub instead of a shower which I had specifically requested and the room reeked of cigarettes. The replacement room was however perfect, so top marks to the staff for responsiveness

The room bathroom is dimly lit. The light is good when the window is open during the day, but the light inside is dim at night. The bathroom always smelled bad (stayed in room 421). In addition, I turned on the do not disturb light but still heard the doorbell ringing (morning, evening and midnight). The breakfast was mediocre and not worth the extra money. Very uncomfortable accommodation experience.
