Usually, I prefer to use the term “one of the worst or best” to avoid being so subjective and absolute. My recent stay at this "five-star" hotel, during an international research conference, was significantly disappointing due to several issues. Facility Condition The hotel appears old and lacks basic maintenance. I observed a leak in a hallway. In the room, the hairdryer didn't work, the bathroom power socket was dead, and all other power sockets were loose. The security lock was broken, and the fridge was excessively loud. Staff and Conference Organization Staff generally lacked pleasantness and smiles, suggesting a need for improved guest interaction training. During the conference, directional signs were unclear and remained up even after two days the event concluded, pointing to a lack of efficient management and clear responsibilities. I can only upload still picture rather than video. Strongly recommend to avoid this hotel!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beachfront hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable experience throughout. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from a beautiful, clean beach with stunning views, especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished, with a comfortable bed and a balcony that offered a fantastic sea view. I appreciated the modern amenities and the cleanliness of both the room and the common areas. The hotel also offers easy access to nearby restaurants, cafes, and shops, which made exploring the area very convenient.

Loved everything but they could clean the room a bit better., especially where the kettle etc is. Entertainment on the beach 10/10. Fantastic with a band playing every night. Never stop this. We definitely will come back. Everything was perfect & would recommend Prama Sanur to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

“The room were clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was decent. While the hotel itself feels a bit outdated, its location right next to the beach, market shops and coffee shops and spas are near more than makes up for it.”

I traveled with my 84 year old grandmother and 4 year old daughter. The front gate was under renovation, but that didn't detract from the beautiful driveway and reception. It felt very palatial. The check-in process was easy, and our rooms were ready by 230pm. We had two superior rooms, and they were on the smaller side but had everything you needed and was well laid out. The tirta restaurant service was quite slow and the food was fine. The woodfire pizza was a hit with my daughter. The grounds are beautifully maintained. My only criticisms would be that there was no kids menu advertised anywhere or even mentioned to us until I asked why they didn't have one at check out and was told they did. The kids club is really only suitable for toddlers they way it's equipped. The bikes for hire are also quite expensive considering the condition they are in, and my biggest issue was the appearance of the kids' waterside area. I was under the impression there was a renovation on it, but it is really quite run down. In saying that it didn't stop my child and the little friends she made from having a ball. The location was further south, and then we have stayed before but there is still easy access to everything sanur has to offer and right on the beach.

I originally intended to stay one night but because of the great service I extended super convenient on the beach and lots of activities it's private but still connected to other things if you want to get out

Hotel is right on a very nice part of Sanur beach. No big waves. Perfect for relaxed floating around near the beach. Clear water too. Two pools, one for kids, and an enormous one for adults. Staff are amazing. Gym is a little old. Sauna is nice. The hotel grounds are lovely. 5 cafes and restaurants on the grounds. At least 100 others within a 10 to 15 minute walk. I would stay here again. Breakfast was great.

The best part of this hotel is the location!! right on the beach is a great area with lounge chairs to relax. The have a spa next door highly recommend for massage with Amy. I get my facials from The nest about a 10 min walk. Service was excellent had a problem with booking they sorted out for me. I would come back again for the location.

One of our favorite hotels to stay in Sanur. Excellent location along the beach, sprawling grounds with multiple pools, well landscaped gardens, multiple restaurants and dining options. Bamboo Beach Bar is a great hangout overlooking the ocean. It’s an older hotel but makes up for it with friendly staff, excellent service, great breakfast buffet and cleanliness. We look out for the occasional good deals on the Trip.com app to get up to 30-40% discount!

I had a wonderful stay at Prama Sanur Beach Hotel in Bali! The hotel’s prime location right next to the beach was a highlight, offering stunning views and easy access to the shore. The sprawling compound is beautifully designed, with lush greenery and plenty of space to relax. The two swimming pools were a great touch, and I loved the abundance of sunbathing chairs shaded by trees along the beachfront—perfect for unwinding. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, making it a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing beachside getaway!

Old hotel but great services by the staff. Away from the busy Kuta beach making it suitable if you would like to have a quiet trip. The beach not as clean but you can walk and jog along the beach quite nicely.

Waterfront, good location and nice bar pool. Room service and pool service are good.  Big variety of breakfast options for continental and Asian breakfast with fresh pancake, egg and fruit stations. Bread and cheese could be definitely better.  Rooms quite outdated with some items to be addressed: we had leaked toilet and very loud AC and fridge, we changed the room however the fridge in the second room was loud too. I wouldn’t tell it is 5star hotel, the standard is more 3stars.   The reception staff is not very proactive in guiding you through the facilities or activities available for you to join in the resort unlike in other places we have stayed. We had to approach again to find out about the resort schedule. There is no kids club schedule, staff in indoor playground are lovely and attentive however the playground itself is quite small with just a few, old toys.  The ponds have very muddy water like there is no filtration, the fishes are swimming in this dark water.
