The best experience of Bali and it’s hospitality. From location, to the golf car ride, from the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner to the nature, it was experience that left us happy inside. There is free shuttle to the Ubud centre at designated time. Villas themselves are gorgeous, ours was Mountain view and absolutely loved the morning view of Batur volcano. Private Pool and the jacuzzi was fantastic to be active. Food is deliciously served with the top Bali service with smile. Felt always at home with their fine hospitality. Breakfast options are fantastic, though didn’t have lunch, the dinner experience was top notch. High tea was also a good surprise. They helped us with arranging good tour of Ubud and surroundings and the final day we enjoyed the complimentary photo shoot and loved it so much. The attention given to your needs is the best we enjoyed. My wife being a vegetarian, they always remembered to provide the right recommendations (they have a separate vegetarian menu). All in all our stay at “The Samaya, Ubud” was the best decision for 2022. Will always recommend it for stay in Ubud.

The a la carte breakfast is perfect, the room and the swimming pool are in good condition, the hotel is a little off-site, the only thing I am not satisfied with is that the hygiene details are not in place. There was a problem during the stay, and Ctrip followed up and solved the problem in time. The relevant staff of Ctrip are very responsible in this regard.

The hotel is built along the hillside. The mountain villas and river villas are at the bottom of the valley. The environment is good. Afternoon tea and dinner are average.

There are plenty of activities to do at the hotel, and you won’t feel bored staying at the hotel all day! The staff greets with a smile and remembers every guest, the hotel breakfast is delicious! Will come again if I have the chance!

The resort is really a village, in the mountains and forests next to the rice fields. The road to the resort is very steep, but they have golf carts for pick-up. Overall, it is a good place and suitable for staying for 2-3 nights. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry and only stayed for one night.

It's like a paradise on earth~ The scenery is picturesque, really beautiful! The big room I booked this time is also private, very suitable for relaxing and lying down. The hotel service is also very good, it's worth it!

The first stop when I arrived in Bali, I thought the more expensive hotels in the next few stops would be more exciting, but in fact the first stop was the pinnacle, this one. The next stop is not as good as the last one. After this time, I know that Nusa Dua and Seminyak are not very good. The hotel hardware there is no longer as good as the new hotels in China. Of course, the service is still better than many domestic hotels with empty hardware, but they are all big hotels in the mass market. Compared with Samaya, the service and comfort are quite a bit lower. . The highlight of Samaya is the kindness of the service staff. They almost know everyone, there are not too many guests staying, and the service details are not missed. The service staff looks relatively simple. Compared with the professional service staff at Nusa Dua and Seminyak, the service staff here are more friendly and personal. They will talk about their family and life, allowing you to experience a little bit of local culture. Compared to the ones I stayed in later, the room turned out to be the best, I don't know. There is new fruit every day, and there is chocolate in bed at night. The Villa is much more comfortable than the rooms at Ritz-Carlton or Alila. The breakfast and dinner offerings are very good. Especially the dinner dishes are of high quality. The Buffet buffet style of big hotels, which focuses on huge and rich breakfasts, is outdated. First of all, it is wasteful. Secondly, the environment is usually crowded and complicated. No matter how high-end it is, such as the Ritz-Carlton, it is just high-end in the mass market. This type itself is aimed at a massive audience. In terms of cost-effectiveness, it is obvious that boutiques such as Samaya are much higher. Finally, we came to the conclusion that Ubud is the area with the most local cultural connotation in Bali and has a relatively traditional cultural atmosphere. The hotel is also quite unique. The biggest disadvantage is the traffic jam in this area. It takes you half an hour to walk just two or three kilometers, and there is nothing you can do, because the road is only one or two country roads, and cars are jammed at any time. Secondly, there is no sea inland, so you can only see terraced fields. But compared to places such as Seminyak and Nusa Dua, which are so commercialized and westernized that the original appearance is almost invisible, they are still much more original. In Seminyak, you can't feel the difference from the West. In Nusa Dua, you can't feel the difference from Sanya. Why come to Bali?

It is a completely relaxing hotel suitable for vacation! The hotel is in a good location. There are business cars connecting to Ubud Market, where you can shop and eat. The hotel is also located on the riverside, with a panoramic view of the river and terraced fields, and you can also walk along the river; in the morning, I participated in the free rice field hike organized by the hotel team with my children, with explanations. The guide also carried mineral water for all personnel, and the service was very good; the hotel's SPA is excellent and cost-effective, located on the riverside, and the technicians are very good, which impressed me deeply; the hotel's breakfast restaurant has a beautiful landscape and spacious space. It is a à la carte system, the taste is very good, and the choice is rich; the hotel provides many value-added services, including welcome fruits, shuttle buses, hiking and cycling, and free afternoon tea, which can be enjoyed by the riverside or in the room; every waiter has a good attitude and welcomes children. The only thing that can be improved is that because the hotel has been built for a long time, the hygiene of some details can be done better. The swimming pool with the room is 1.8m deep but very clean. The hotel also provides us with adult swimming rings, so that the family can relax and play in the swimming pool every day. In short, it is a perfect holiday choice, and we will come back here again.
