The room is big, the rainforest is super beautiful, and there are no mosquitoes!! The restaurant is also very good. It's a pity that I only stayed for one night, I should have stayed for a few more days!

A really lovely hotel but let down by the staff. No welcome drink when we arrived, the staff member was more interested in us paying the hotel bill straight away. No hangers in the wardrobe and when we asked the most they could give us were 3 each - no other storage for clothes, just a hanging wardrobe. The ‘minibar’ fridge is just an empty fridge. We bought a couple of drinks to enjoy however they only had one bottle opener in the resort! Requested a coffee at the pool bar, was told the machine wasn’t working so hiked the stairs to the restaurant to be told they would bring it to the pool - the staff at the pool had a phone and could have called them. Two mornings we had early departures and found reception in darkness and the staff asleep on the sofas and had to wake them. All that said, the view from the bedroom was breathtaking and the service and food in the restaurant was very good. A few small changes would make this a 5 star hotel.

💖Find on YouTube: UNREAL VALLEY! Mick Jagger & David Bowie Slept Here! $100 Bali Resort Review or just find YT channel (link in the bio): Kristie Dey ——————- We just stayed at Ulun Ubud Resort, a hidden gem in Bali where Mick Jagger & David Bowie once slept, and wow… this place is something else! Nestled in the lush valley of Ubud, it’s a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views, deep infinity pools, and an open-air stone bathtub that feels straight out of a dream. But, of course, no place is perfect — I shared all the pros and cons in my YT review so you know what to expect.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I fell in love with Ubud; the flora here is so rich. My room overlooked the pool. The view from the bedroom is simply incredible: you wake up at dawn, open your eyes, and see the pool, the stunningly diverse and beautiful colors of the plants, and above that, the most magnificent clouds and the sun slowly rising. Then you go to have breakfast, and your eyes are greeted by breathtaking views of Bali’s two peaks, Agung and Batur. Below, you see the jungle, and on the opposite hill, there’s another resort and a rice field. I can’t believe I witnessed all this. Thank you!

After a hustle and bustle drive from the airport we arrived in a patch of paradise. The views from the main pool and restaurant across the deep valley are great. The private section pool was magic. Food v good. Staff, soooo helpful and friendly.

Wonderful hotel with Bali architecture. Rooms are very generous size. Great pool area over looking a deep revine. As the hotel is built on the side of a revine, there are lots of steps from the top level down to the pool and to some of the rooms. It's manageable so long as you don't have mobility problems.

This hotel is not far from ubud’s downtown, but it is a place where you can fully enjoy nature. The staff were very friendly and they provide a great breakfast. However, it was a bit difficult to take many stairs… however, the staff will help to carry luggages.

We stayed at Ulun Ubud for 7 nights and had a scooter to get around. The scooter was handy given Ulun is around 3 klm from Ubud town centre. We stayed on one on the pool rooms at the top of the resort. This was close handy to the reception, bar and restaurant. One tip would be to get a second level room as you can hear people thumping on the floors from the lower level. The room was great, having all we needed. The resort offers pick ups and drop off into Ubud 3 times a day complementary. Breakfast was pretty good value and quality. We dined for dinner one night only, there were better options close by and in Ubud proper. We would stay again, but request a second level room.

Ulun Ubud have been amazing! It’s right in the middle of a forest with a river running through it. The hotel is built on a hillside and overlooking a lush greenery with nice sunrise and sunset that’s Instagramable and for photo lovers. The services be it food and room have been excellent! Keep going to the team there!

Title says it all. Staff excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. Room beautiful, relaxing pool area and delicious food in the restaurant. Gorgeous location in a valley. Bear in mind if you have issues walking as the stairs are steep but the whole resort more than makes up for this. Cannot recommend highly enough

We were told that Ulun Ubud was one of Bali's oldest resorts. As a result of the property's age, one would expect out-of-date furnishings. Vintage furniture has its own allure, so I won't compare it to newer resorts. If you enjoy vintage old charm, this is the place for you. From reception to drivers to restaurant staff to engineers, everyone was friendly and polite. They truly give you the hospitality of the friendly people of Bali. The property was built on strata land so most of the rooms can be access via stairs. There are two pools near the bottom. Due to the covid and low occupancy, both pools were closed, with the exception of the one above near the reception (with superior room categories having direct access to the pool from the rooms), and the rest of the guests are welcome to use the pool. The restaurant's breakfast buffet was excellent. You can have either coffee or tea. You will also receive a selection of juices (Mango, Orange, and Gave), 1 x main course, and fruit to round out your breakfast. I enjoy the chicken porridge because it is simple but delicious. If you're staying for an extended period of time, do try a different main course.

This is probably the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. The pictures don't do it justice. When we arrived and saw our surroundings we were really mindblown. Incredible that you walk down a driveway and you're on a busy Ubud street and just a short walk away this paradise hides. Luckily we don't have any mobility issues.. We were in Deluxe Suite 208 (the Rosie room). It's on the very bottom level of the hotel so we got to do every single stair when we wanted to go up the main lobby or the restaurant. It's a bit rough; even if you're in shape. Stop a long the way for photo breaks so ppl don't know you're about to have a heart attack, lol. The food in the restaurant was good. Not amazing but good (we were maybe spoiled by our previous hotel in the food department). The espressos, cappucinos etc are amazing and are not included in your breakfast which was a little on the cheap side in my opinion. One thing we would have really loved was if room service opened early (they only open at 11) to be able to have a quiet breakfast or a non-instant coffee on our beautiful jungle balcony. Also, we ordered room service dinner one night and they said they'd be back to collect the dishes.. They didn't come back till past noon the next day so our balcony table was covered in dirty dishes and eventually flies and ants. It would have been nice to have a prompt clean up. Not a huge crisis but a bit annoying. We each had a 4 handed massage and it was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend. A little more expensive than a street massage obviously but still worked out to about $45 USD- much much cheaper than that service at home. The rates here are very reasonable for what you get. The view will change your soul, honestly. We slept with the doors wide open which was beautiful, as long as you're cool with roosters and all kinds of birds early AM. I would definitely recommend. Location is great too, about a 25 minute walk to central Ubud, but there are many restaurants, bars, scooter rentals, ATMs etc all within a couple of steps from the main entrance.
