Hotel Jati Sanur Reviews

The first thing that catches your eye is the appearance of the hotel - it is old. But this does not make it significantly worse than the others. The territory is looked after, leaves are constantly removed and trimmed. We had a villa 4, there were 4 of us, and breakfast was ordered for 5 people. Once they wrote down the 5th portion for us to pay, but they quickly resolved the issue. The villa as a whole was like in the photo. 3 bedrooms, double beds everywhere, but in the large bedroom the bed seemed to be longer and definitely wider. The room also looks old and not everything was in good condition, but it was cozy enough. We often cooked, because in the last weeks we only traveled and got tired of eating in restaurants. It seems that no one had cooked before us, because the dishes were in packaging. Unfortunately, there was no refill of water, although there was a water cooler. We bought water ourselves. There were only welcome bottles of water. I worked from the villa and the internet was good enough for work, speed over 50 Mbps (50-80) on WiFi and about the same. There is little light in the rooms, including sunlight due to the walls standing near the windows and plants. This caused a little discomfort. Air conditioning is installed in all rooms, in the living room 2, but in the large bedroom 1. Because of this, it was often hot in it, including working. To somehow lower the temperature, I had to leave the air conditioner in the living room and often turn it on in the bedroom (worked from there). Then it became relatively comfortable, but the air conditioner is still weak for that room, despite setting 16 degrees (in fact, it was somewhere around 24-26). We were in the hotel when the temperature outside was 32 degrees and without rain. Breakfast was weak and monotonous, as in many hotels of this type. Noodles are spicy, other portions by our standards are designed for children. It's good that there was an extra portion that we gave to the children and ate ourselves. The ocean is 5-10 minutes away across the road. There are beach towels, you need to ask for them. You need to go to the beach after high tide, otherwise you will only get your feet wet. Sun loungers belong to other hotels and are paid. There is a swimming pool, but the water in it is not just chlorinated, but also has some kind of acid. The children's skin was slightly corroded to the point of bleeding, and after getting water in my mouth, it was as if I had absorbed acid and had an unpleasant taste in my mouth for a long time, even when washing it out. They cleaned the room well, they even accidentally washed our towel 🙂, but we had to find it, otherwise they would have left it, since it looked very similar. There were lizards in the room, but they were in all the places where we rested. You should not be afraid of them. A large store is located about 10-15 minutes to the north. The shopping center is even larger. There are enough cafes and massage parlors around. In general, the only downsides are breakfast, a pool (water) and one air conditioner in a large bedroom.

Super green territory. At first the room does not seem cozy, but then you get used to it and adapt. The markings and switches are very inconveniently located. But the shower is very cool, dries very quickly. The floor is warm, like a window in the ceiling. And light and warm. Only large towels, but there are napkins. Tiny sink. Hair dryer at the reception. Beach towels are also there. Very quiet air conditioning. There is a terrace with a fan, table, chairs and a dryer. Breakfast is so-so. The noodles are very peppery, and rice with egg is not. Yes, I liked the Balinese coffee. What is terrible is the fever pool. About 40 degrees. We were unlucky: in the morning and evening the ocean was at low tide. In general, we recommend the hotel. Especially if the night costs 35 dollars

Upon arrival I was given a room with mold near the bed along the entire wall. Upon request, they immediately changed the room without extra charge to a luxurious villa of 100 m with 2 rooms and a kitchen, which was very nice. Excellent Wi-Fi. Excellent breakfasts to choose from, not a buffet, but you can eat and there were fruits. Juice and coffee. Polite staff. Near the sea with an excellent beach 5 minutes walk through a beautiful 5-star hotel, everything is great, the best place in SANURE! And also, hundreds of shops, cafes, souvenirs nearby. In this location - the delights of Ubud shops combined with the charm of Sanur and a beautiful sea, which is rare in Bali. By the way, there are kitchens in all rooms and refrigerators and a pleasant area. I fell in love with this hotel. Very quiet, safe

We spent one night, it was cozy, clean, the room was a separate house with a veranda in the style of Indian design, which adds its own aesthetics. For a budget option it's ok.

We stayed for a couple of days. Very convenient location. Breakfast is continental. I took pancakes. The staff is friendly.

A terrific central location on the main drag, Jl Tamblingan. I arrived late at night and appreciated the friendly reception. Quickly checked in and was happy with my large room and bathroom. All quite clean, simple and reasonably priced. I didn't try the pool, but it looked nice and cool. The verandah, ensconced in greenery, was particularly nice to sit in come morning. Breakfast was good and I enjoyed watching the coming and going of staff as they arrived to help prepare breakfast, or merchants coming to deliver items and supplies. Nearby is are excellent stores and cafes. From here, my driver arrived to take me to Amed. There were travellers who looked like they've been coming here for years! It's a very compact hotel in terms of space, but perfectly adequate for someone like me who wants something convenient, central and clean.

Lovely basic clean room. Comfortable bed . Everything works. Aircon works well. Breakfast simple but with a few choices. Pool lovely and clean with easy access from room. Staff super helpful and friendly. Located centrally near many restaurants.

Friendly staff, the rooms are clean, the bed’s comfortable, the air conditioner works well, and the pool is clean. The Wi-Fi is ok. Only criticism is that they don’t supply drinking water, but there is a mini mart at the beginning on the lane way into the hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Jati in the 3 bedroom villa. We had 2 families stay in this villa and it was wonderful! Huge space with 3 large bedrooms and 3 large bathrooms. It also has a small kitchen and comfortable lounge and courtyard! The villa was immaculate and each day it was serviced by the wonderful staff. The staff were so welcoming and amazing and always so attentive. The pool was pristine and the breakfast was lovely to enjoy at the tables near reception. It was our first time staying in a home stay with 2 small kids and it was wonderful. Jati himself runs the small convenience shop right at the front of the homestay it has everything you could need and very very cheap. The location is also unbeatable with sanur beach and walking/bike track right across the road. There are also copious amounts of amazing restaurants and warungs and shops galore! We adored our stay at hotel Jati. Thank you so much.

We stayed only one night because we wanted to be near the harbor the night before our diving cruise. What an excellent value for our money! The property and furnishings are older, but everything was clean and in working order. Our room was already super cool from the aircon when we arrived - blessed! Walking distances to local restaurants, as well as high end, were very close. We slept very well, as the area in the back where we were was very quiet. Breakfast was tasty and served on the terrace in front of our room. Fantastic value for $.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Villa with no complaints. Spacious rooms, private courtyard and access to the pool. Choice of 3 options for breakfast included in the room rate. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and will certainly be staying again.

We’re so glad that we booked Jati for 3 nights! We’re a family of 4, with 2 young children. The staff are lovely and so helpful. The rooms are clean and the pool is great- half of it is shallow enough for our 3 year old to easily walk in and the other half is deep enough for our 6 year old to dive into. I read reviews that breakfast wasn’t very big, but that wasn’t our experience at all. It’s usual size for what you get in hotels in Bali! And delicious!! We loved the location; it’s just off a main road but tucked away and was quite. Very easy and quick walk to the beach up a side road near a major hotel. We had a poor experience with a money exchange man just down the road who ripped me off, when I told the hotel staff about it, one of them offered to go back with me and help to get my money back (which I did!). It’s caring service like this that is hard to find! Highly recommend Jati. We look forward already to our next stay here!
