One of the best views you will ever wake up to, we stayed in Villa Lana with the sun rise view. It’s in the middle of nowhere but I think that is a positive as it’s great to get away from everything. All you need is on the resort with two great restaurants and room service options

This place was a highlight of our trip! We stayed in the cabins up on the hill. The bathroom was separate but the views were spectacular and the cabin was comfy and gave us all we need. And for the cost it was perfect. A little like glamping, with walls 😄 The toilet block was very clean and the staff were excellent. There are two restaurants on site. Both are outstanding. For breakfast, lunch or dinner we were really impressed with the options, quality and value. There was yoga every morning in the most gorgeous setting. The spa was first class with hot sauna, infrared and cold plunge. And the treatments were first class. If we could live here we would! Highly recommend and would stay again.

Sumberkima has an excellent Social Media Team because what you see in the pictures is similar to what you get (room-wise). However, what they don’t tell you is how there is absolutely nothing there except the programmes and activities that they run (for a price, of course). Honestly, the villas itself are beautiful. So if you intend to just stay in and chill, it’s probably fine, but i’m not so sure if it’s really worth traveling all the way there for the views as the views were…okay. Moving around the Sumberkima Resort is also a challenge as it is very hilly and the roads are not paved well. They do provide a buggy service that you can call, but again, unless you are doing one of their programmes or activities, there really isn’t much to do or see. The types of people you see there are “influencer” types and seem to belong to the more hip, ‘eat, pray, love’ kind of crowd. So if that’s your thing, then great! TLDR; PROS: - - beautiful villas - great amenities in villa - room service available on request - buggy service responsive and good (can bring you to anywhere in Sumberkima town for free, but the town doesn’t have much. We spent our time going to Alfamart to stock up on instant noodles and snacks) - they have a Whatsapp chat for your villa specifically, so service is good - staff are very helpful and friendly - resort food was pretty good CONS: - it is farrrrrrr (but this could be a good thing too if you really want peace and quiet) - the closest clinic is in the next town (~15 mins by car…i fell violently ill 1 of the days and was concerned about receiving medical care, so i asked the hotel staff) - resort is difficult to get around - many mosquitoes and spiders - resort and area don’t have much facilities unless you do their activities or programmes - if your villa is near the Yoga Chalet, you will hear music from the sessions - you may also hear prayer calls from the Mosques nearby - if you’re more introverted, you may not enjoy the crowd that goes to these places

We were here for 3 days 2 night at kemuning and book through trip.com but hotel received from the *******. All staff are friendly and i love it but cleanliness for kemuning villas is poor compare with villa cempaka and baja timur because my friends stayed there Wifi also poor for all villas, my friend found blonde hairs in our kemuning villa. Explore the organic garden was cool and the guys there very humble

The hotel is suitable for spending one night and climbing the volcano 🌋 The road to the hotel is terrible, I do not recommend going by car at all. The room itself was clean, but without hand soap. The shower is terrible, the tap water is smelly. Breakfasts are prepared for you to choose from, there is tea. The atmosphere itself is like a camping trip, in the evening they lit a fire. There are a lot of residents in the hotel, so it can be quite noisy. The audibility is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. Do not be surprised by the huge number of flies, they are everywhere. Never before have I seen so many flies. I strongly recommend taking and putting on a mask when climbing the volcano. Flies accompany you the entire climb and climb right into your mouth. What a relief it was to leave this area after a successful climb.

This resort is super, super beautiful! ! ! ! The price/performance ratio is too high! ! And the spa inside is also very cheap! ! ! I'd be sad if anyone didn't come! ! ! Every Villa is beautiful! ! But be sure to use the lightning protection capacitor, do not use it. We originally used Agoda to book the Jiahe Villa, but when we went to a hotel, they said that you booked an El Nido villa. In their system, it was El Nido. It was the Agoda agent who made a mistake. Speechless. But the resort itself is super nice and the scenery is particularly beautiful. I am even willing to come here once a year just for the scenery.

After arriving at the hotel, we paid the difference and changed to a villa. The one with a swimming pool was quite comfortable. The resort area is relatively large and you can see several plots of land where villas are still being built, so the environment is not exquisite enough, but if you just want to relax and have a good rest and stay by yourself. The villa is pretty good too. The facilities inside the villa are good and the privacy is strong. I think it will be perfect if I stay there in a year or two. In addition, the restaurant in the hotel is good and you can see the beautiful sunset.

Cool hotel, gorgeous view, cool villas and swimming pool. If we are ever in this area again, we will definitely stay here.

We had room Luwih 3. It was exactly as shown in the pictures. The entire complex consists of several villas, some with private pools, some with shared ones. Luwih consists of 3 identical rooms that share 1 pool. Since we were there in the low season, we had it to ourselves. The complex is VERY extensive, but the WhatsApp chat with the hotel reception works great. You can also organize a shuttle at any time. The staff is very accommodating and always tried to fulfill our wishes. The retreat has 2 very good restaurants with a nice selection of western and Balinese cuisine and cocktails, 2 large pools for general use and a great spa for treatments with infrared, Finnish sauna and cold water plunge pool with an excellent view. There is also fast WiFi practically everywhere on the site. The only thing I can't say about the various yoga courses - we don't do yoga :)

Pleasant stay, staff always available and responsive, driver service from Ubud at a great price with a new and comfortable car and a very nice driver. Villa with a wonderful living room kitchen with breathtaking views towards the valley, the sea and the volcano in the distance (lava flows visible at night), spectacular sunset even from the wonderful shared swimming pool. There is a very characteristic small gym. We really enjoyed the yoga class and the massage in the spa all at very fair prices.

Great location! You can enjoy the spectacular view while doing spa or yoga. Restaurants and spas are very reasonably priced.
