Metland Venya Ubud Reviews

It was a relaxing and wonderful stay at Metland Venya. The Venya suite was huge with a balcony and a tub overlooking the valley, double sinks and a shower area. The tub, however, was challenging to lie down in as the stone material used to make it was slippery causing you to slip down into the water if you didn't somehow hold yourself up. What I really appreciated though was the smart TV and iPad in the room that allowed me to watch YouTube videos and play songs on Spotify. However, do note that the two devices are not connected and do not sync. I was also not able to sync my phone to the TV as the Bluetooth function on the TV only seemed to be able to locate the iPad in the room. The bed was also luxurious and comfortable, making me feel well rested the next morning. Amenities-wise, the pool and the view is really as good as it looks on photos and it was great that the pool was huge and could accommodate the many guests at Metland Venya such that each guest could still have their own little area without getting into each other's way. The spa, however, was under renovation at the time of my visit, to my disappointment but the shuttle service to ubud town would get you to one of the many spa places there. One of the better things about this hotel was the shuttle service provided every two hourly throughout the day till 9pm at night. Simply book a slot at the front desk and you will arrive in ubud town within 20 minutes or so. Finally, I really must commend the staff who were so friendly and welcoming, especially Terry Artha, who was kind enough to shuttle me to ubud town out of the usual timing and take me to the inclinator when I first got here. The service was great and I felt so at home because of it. Thank you to all the staff at Metland. This is one of the hotels I wouldn't mind coming back to stay again.

Amazing. Everything perfect except Breakfast needs some improvement

We had some issues when we checked in. The wrong room was advertised compared to what we received on arrival. Beautiful hotel, gorgeous views. Not family friendly would definitely recommend to honeymooners and couples. The floating breakfast was amazing and pictures at their gorgeous pool

I had a lovely stay at the Horison Ume. Everything was perfect from the moment I arrived. The room is spacious and clean with a gorgeous view of the canyon. Breakfast great too. As a bonus, it’s a short walk to the pyramids of chi, if you enjoy meditations and sound healing.

A beautiful hotel with a panoramic view of the jungle, excellent set breakfasts and excellent service. The availability of exercise equipment is also a plus. When we asked to change the room (initially they offered a corner room that smelled of dampness and had no view), they upgraded us to a more expensive category. There was an incident with a broken analogue of the Yandex station, but they were able to resolve everything in a civilized manner. In general, we would gladly come back here again.

The hotel is beyond praise. We took a regular room. Freshly renovated, toiletries include a washcloth, comb, disposable razor and much more. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfasts are served like in a restaurant. But the view is its specialty, Cretya Ubud is not inferior, and maybe for someone it will be better. The only thing that upset me was the photo session supposedly free, it's a scam, there is nothing like that and it costs astronomical amounts of money) 5 photos processed ~ 7200 rubles

The hotel is completely consistent with the photo. Breakfast is a buffet of sweets, fruits and vegetables, and the rest is a choice from the breakfast menu. Beautiful presentation and delicious 👌🏻 There is a shuttle to Ubud every 2 hours to the very center, without traffic jams it takes 15 minutes. In the room (we had 204) there are welcome fruits, water, tea and coffee. Daily cleaning and change of towels. In the bathroom there is a shower and a bath (more for beauty). From the hotel we went on an excursion to the Batur volcano (transfer there and back), at a price like everywhere else in the city 550 thousand rupees. The territory is clean and well-groomed, the pool is open from 08:00 to 19:00.

Beautiful resort with a wonderful infinity pool, the staff was very kind always available to satisfy our every choice. The breakfast is abundant and very good, both a la carte and buffet.

There is a very beautiful swimming pool on the territory with a view of the jungle and rice terraces. It is especially beautiful here in the evening, they turn on the lighting in the pool. The staff was friendly, the rooms are neat, the breakfasts are also very good

The room had a really nice smell. We barely lived here for 2 days. The breakfasts were very simple and not tasty. The hotel is old and not worth the money they ask for. You can find something better. I do not recommend it.

The front desk service is very considerate and the environment is beautiful and hygienic. However, the hotel is some distance from the city, so you need to take the hotel car back and forth at the designated time. 

Nice and tidy hotel

The ambience was really great, the service was great. In addition, they provide the guest with the extraordinary activities (e.g., yoga session, balinese costume, and village tour). The infinity private pool also amazing and clean. Definitely will come back!

Great resort! The swimming pool is amazing, personal is very nice, the room was big and clean with a nice view to the poll, the food was very good! Nothing negative about the overall experience. Great hospitality! For sure we will return here!
