The hotel is okay. The staff is friendly. Only the location is a bit difficult to find. Parking too far away. We were there on a rainy day, breakfast was fine. I don't swim so I don't know about the pool.

Overall, my experience at Bhanuswari Resort & Spa was very satisfying. This place is suitable for anyone who wants to find peace and relaxation amidst the natural beauty of Bali.

The hotel is a bit old but still well-maintained, the swimming pool is very nice on the edge of the rice fields ... the lack of breakfast is not varied and lacks taste

The place is quiet, not noisy

One of the worst and noisiest hotel. Noises created by their own folks. Constant honking of cars/motorbikes no matter what the hours are. Loud music from evening till wee hours of the AM and no sleep for us. Called front desk and no avail. Called again and the phone was unanswered. Unacceptable behaviors. Stay away!

Property as area and greenery is good however services is pathetic...the staff only care for foreigners as USA and Australian..they don't give services to Indian. During the breakfast they chk how many omelet you ate...didn't give a single toast extra as per them we can get only one toast and one omelet each...worst part is that when I was eating half of my son's egg..& I asked for my egg the staff said that we saw u eating egg so will not give you egg...don't go to this hotel there are many other good property in Ubud

I stayed here for a week and couldn't recommend it more. The location is absolutely beautiful, right beside some rice terraces! Being in the swimming pool while the sun is setting over the rice fields was amazing. Me and my girlfriend value peace and quiet and this place had that in abundance. It is well away from any roads, all you hear is the animals. The staff are what make the hotel. They are absolutely amazing, so friendly and always willing to help. They even went to town and got cigarettes for us which was unbelievable. The food is top notch as are the cocktails albeit a bit on the pricey side (for Bali). The shuttle to Ubud is very useful, free and punctual. We really enjoyed our stay here and I would urge anybody else to stay!

Stayed here for 1 night just for relaxing my mind after a hectic week. The lobby is spacious, clean and there's an unique statue beside the reception desk. The check-in was smoothly because the reception was great and details. The room is clean and comfy although is not same as the website picture but I enjoyed the night. There's a lot of food for breakfast, like nasi goreng, chicken nugget, noodle, bread, jam, etc. The place is quiet, natural and amazing! the open-air, lush garden and bird sounds make the good vibes if you want to find a calm and relax place. Last but not least, keep it up!

The resort is placed in a remote Ubud area and you will not find any easy access to any of the amenities outside. The hotel staff do not even know how to serve a beer. They get it delivered opened and warm beer in your room stating that it’s chilled. Menu shows ample of items yet you will not get even half of it available. The room is surrounded by ants, lizards, grasshopper etc. I tried reaching out to the GM - Petros, informing him the situation, the staff said he is at home.m and later he texts my wife with a threatening message over WhatsApp stating that if u continue complaining like this, you will have to face consequences as it is Bali not India. He clearly tried to harass me and my family being racist. When the waiter asked me to sign the bill, I said I will sign it after getting to meet the GM on which he said, we will see you. Is this the type of hospitality a person expects from a hotel? I was traveling with my Wife and infant and after this threatening message from Petros (GM) and the waiter, we couldn’t sleep all night and had to check out early in the morning. The private pool was also very dirty as if it has never been cleaned since it was made. This has been the worst ever experience for me and my family.

I don't know where to start. It's far from everything. The air conditioning was leaking, I had to wait at the reception to get someone. The bathroom is outdated and it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. Honestly, apart from the pool, it's really not great.

Although we had a room with a private pool, I do not recommend this hotel, unless you have a car at your disposal. This resort is in the middle of nowhere, no restaurants nearby, so you have to eat there, and the prices are not those you can get in the warums. It takes between 30 minutes to 1 hour to get to UBUD, depending on traffic. There is a hotel shuttle (free) but you have to book with departure and return times. And the times offered are somewhat restrictive. This hotel is old, the breakfast is by far the worst we had in Bali. In addition, you have to hurry if you want to have a minimum of choice. There are so many nicer hotels, better located, with real breakfasts that I advise you to avoid this one.

Very well maintained complex The green spaces are neat, the 2 swimming pools very pretty The environment is really nice The spa and the masseuses are great! 2 treatments performed on site Located outside Ubud it is very quiet The staff is dedicated and friendly. The negative point is the room + bathroom very aging which would need a good renovation! And the breakfast, little choice The shuttle service for the city center is great!

Given the reviews we were looking forward to this hotel. We were very disappointed. The rooms are old, dilapidated, dark and dirty. High stairs to the room without lighting. Insects everywhere, we were given a can of insecticide as a solution. There was hardly any cleaning. Loose electrical wires, a musty dark bathroom full of mold. The swimming pool was small and also cloudy. Breakfast limited. Shuttle service was only possible on the first day if we were at least ten people and they did not want to call a taxi. A plus was driver Maddy who helped us a lot. The location is too far from the center, a taxi costs 100,000.
