Durban Hotels with balcony

Really clean hotel Very friendly staff Out door pool Gym was smaller but well equipped and super clean In a shopping development with lots of restaurants but closed around 8pm. Had to get an Uber to the area of town that opens later with bars and more restaurants. Lots of Ubers avaiable and very affordable so not really an issue.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Umhlanga, Durban and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping spots making it very convenient whether you’re visiting for leisure or business. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the stay even more relaxing. One of the highlights each morning was the amazing breakfast—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to choose from. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional reception staff. They were incredibly warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. As a lovely surprise, they even upgraded me to a sea-view room because it was my birthday, which made my stay feel extra special and memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great service, a prime location, and excellent hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Umhlanga!

Back to Durban, in fact, it is currently two families living back and forth. I personally like to cook and eat by myself, and I can't eat white rice, so if I bring a kitchen, the optional range is very small. This homestay is not bad. I am familiar with the landlord Helen, and their white couple are very good. Someone cleans it every day. This is basic. The room can see the sea, so the view is not bad. The disadvantage is that it is indeed a homestay, and the facilities are not new. The light is a bit dim at night. Nothing else Advantages: Close to the gateway, and the security of umhlanga is very good. The summary is very good

The Beverly Hills is and always has been a wonderful experience. Staff are above and beyond in their service. Rooms overlook the sea and have spectacular sunrise and sunsets. All meals are exceptional, breakfast on the terrace with its amazing buffet is a delight to start the day.

Hotel is in a fantastic location! The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but I'm not so sure about the pool. The water looked clean.. just the floor of the pool was off-putting. I was a bit disappointed I didn't have a fridge in my room. Maybe larger rooms have them? During loadshedding hours, everything is still powered. The wifi was great! Overall, its a lovely hotel and would be happy to stay there again.

The room was very spacious, and the environment was quiet. It had a balcony, a separate living area, and the bathtub and shower were separate. The vanity counter was also large. The front desk service was attentive and even helped carry my luggage to the room.

Beautiful place, it is very quiet and peaceful. I loved the sea view😍. The room is very clean and spacious, very friendly staff, always there to help. Breakfast was very delicious, many options to choose from, this guest house is close to many restaurants and party places, this is a huge bonus, very convenient, I highly recommend. The hotel is very beautiful with a spacious view. The breakfast was delicious!! Moreover, the location of the hotel is the best part because it’s a walking distance to gateway mall. I’ll definitely come back.

Had a comfortable stay, I only stayed for 1 night as I had an early flight the next morning. The place is clean and the beds comfortable. They provide a shower gel/body wash and bath towels. The only issue was the toilet which made a whistling noise.

I booked a vacation for my family. It was a great time for them. They loved everything, the room, the interior, the service from the staff, the facilities, it was more than a great experience. Breakers Resort, thank you for hosting my family!
