Santa Barbara Hotels with Balcony

The hotel looks very well maintained. My room had a sofa and desk along with the king size bed. Big room for a hotel. The bathroom and sink area are alittle small, but very modern and tiled. The shower was excellent. The pool and jucuzzi were crystal clear and clean. Pretty big pool with a deep end of 8 ft. The location is about 8 minute drive to downtown, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The area seems nice, don’t let the closed hotel next door scare you away.

I came in with my husband to celebrate our honeymoon. I spoke with Ella over the phone wanting to make our experience extra special. She was extremely helpful booking and picking treatments and responding to my messages very quickly. Ella ended up being the one who checked us in, and we were greeted by a gift and hand written card. It was so sweet and special. She even remembered our name which we thought was so sweet LOL! Check in was smooth and I felt so welcomed. Adi was so kind and helpful setting up my locker showing me around the facilities. I relaxed at the spa pool for the remainder of my spa trip and checked out with suli and Beth who were very sweet and even gave me a treat bag with some mini spa products. This honeymoon was extra special and me and my husband had amazing massages with Owen and Heather. We had a wonderful experience at the spa. Although prices were high it was worth it!!

The resort was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. We brought our golden retriever and it was a very pleasant stay for him as well. The location is close enough to the shops and restaurants of State St. but far enough away to be peaceful and not too crowded. My only complaint is the food. We ate at all of the different restaurants and each time we were so disappointed by the quality of the food and the prices were astronomical. I don't mind paying a lot for good food, but this food was worse than what I make at home and I am not a good cook! My daughter ordered the lobster roll at The Set and it was terrible. $30 down the drain. We had breakfast at The Roundhouse and the avocado toast was beyond bland. Then we tried lunch at the Terraza del Mar - I got a chicken Cesar salad and my daughter got a poke bowl. The salad was cole slaw mix and chicken, that was it. Her poke bowl didn't have the rice that it was supposed to have and was horrible, she couldn't have more than a couple bites. I would stay at the resort again, but would never eat at any of their restaurants again. Better to Doordash or eat off property.

We had our company Christmas party in the hotel's private room and it was amazing. The food and service was excellent and the room was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was by far the best place we've ever been to for our Christmas party.

We were really looking forward to experiencing a 4 night stay here and were sure it would be the highlight of our 3 week trip across the States to celebrate our anniversary . However we were left a little disappointed with a few aspects during our stay. We arrived a little earlier than guaranteed check in time and enjoyed relaxing in the bar and on the chairs overlooking Santa Barbara. However, we were not contacted after check in time and had to ask twice and so check in was later than expected. Our room was stunning though and worth the wait. Highlights were definitely the view, setting above Santa Barbara, the relaxed atmosphere and terrace for meals. However, it was mainly service that was disappointing for such a high end hotel. Breakfast was erratic. Day one was spot on, day two we had to ask for missing items, day three took over an hour and on our final morning it was twenty minutes before we managed to even get a drink let alone someone to take an order. The pool area is stunning visually, however, don’t take a bed near the pool room unless you want all the staff gossip, though it was entertaining! Plus it took over half an hour for a glass of fizz to arrive and when it did, it was luke warm - just not what you’d expect. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant on our first night but the menu didn’t offer enough choice for us to dine there again. We didn’t manage to book the shuttle but ubers were easy to come by. I think perhaps if we’d have stayed one night, we’d have been more ‘wowwed’ and the cracks wouldn’t have been so apparent. For a leading hotel of the world a little polish and elbow grease is needed to be truly worthy of the title.

The front desk is very strict. You must have a visa card to stay. At the restaurant at the door, I bought breakfast with breakfast. It used to mean breakfast deducted with $50. You can order it yourself. The restaurant is delicious The highlight is the pool, you will love the experience here....a large piece at hand. The pool is warm water. Santa Barbara has become massively expensive, yes this is something that’s relatively new over the last three years since I’ve been going quite a lot as my godson lives there. My usual hunt was the Hilton on East Beach. Their prices have become of seen without me being able to find anything below 650 to 900 per night anymore. So, I needed a bit of a budget motel and this came in around $400 with taxes per night, maybe this is a little bit high for the time, but, it may have been because it was a special gay pride weekend. Not sure. I like to be extremely honest in these reviews and it’s no offense to the hotel. I will say that the office staff was one of the highlights because they were gentle and kind of nice. I might say that don’t come early and expect to get a room because they don’t check you in until after 3 PM. I’m not sure why they didn’t let me in because they had rooms clean at my rate, was exhausted from getting up at 4 AM to make it to California. It’s not a huge deal. There is no pool, they have a few bicycles to rent, there is free parking in the motel but I don’t think they have enough spaces for all the guest. This was a plus having free parking. No, this is a single level very budget motel. The door to the rooms open directly into a parking lot. The good thing is these rooms are extremely clean, nice bedding, comfortable pillows, tiny bathroom and closet but the bathroom was immaculate and had a nice modern tiled shower. they have a coffee maker in the room and also serve coffee in the motel little lobby. The coffee is pretty good. They have a very simple breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries and hard-boiled eggs! For me that was a big plus because I love hard-boiled eggs for breakfast. I wasn’t up to my normal physical activity, but next time I will definitely utilize the bicycles which are included with your stay. Overall, this place is a bit charming. I hope I can find a time within the next year to come back and hopefully it won’t be on some very expensive weekend. Location is excellent as everyone says half a block from the beach, West Beach and very close to State Street.

Absolutely wonderful location. The bike / walking path is a minute walk from the hotel, right along the beach. There's a little grocery store about a 5 minute walk up S Milpas St, so convenient. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance (1 mile) or a short drive. I didn't eat at the hotel. The room was clean but toiletries were not replenished, and my dirty glasses were not washed or replaced. For the high price tag, I would have expected that. The air conditioning in the room was great, quiet, and easy to adjust.The front desk team was very friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite people were the Valet team. They were fun to speak with, very down to earth and did their job well. Valet parking is $26.00 / night. I didn't see that price anywhere when I booked.

The hotel is expensive, but the room is not big, there is no bathtub and no view of the sea. Most of the money is paid in this location and exquisite decoration. Hotel parking is also expensive, and there is no free service, so the 7, 8, 8 nights of hotels are really not cost-effective. Of course, it is also a bit historical and design. It is indeed a lot of rich people to live, but if you want to really enjoy the feeling of rich people, it is best to book a room for more than one night, otherwise you will regret the money throwing in the water like me. Don't say that I didn't see the world in poor and sour, I moved out and lived in downtown Santa Barbara, LA and other places, no comparison and no harm. I can say that I don’t think I have too much money to live. After all, it is still a luxury hotel. It will not be uncomfortable. I can’t buy it with a little money. Don’t be as fascinated by Xiaohongshu as I am.

The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and bright. The breakfast was complete with bread, cereal, milk, coffee, bacon, fruit and yogurt. I had a great time. The hotel is right on the beach, with the blue sea and white sandy beaches visible. Walk ten minutes along the seaside to the pier. There are several seafood restaurants. The delicacies made with fresh crabs and lobster shells are wide and of good quality, absolutely delicious. Moreover, the hotel is not far from the Grand Court, and there are buses passing through the door, which is very convenient. The hotel also has a heated swimming pool, but we didn't go swimming due to lack of time.
