"Great location (close to 17 Mile Drive and other scenic spots), spacious, clean and cozy rooms, family-friendly inn with sufficient parking spaces. Offering simple but nice complimentary breakfast. Excellent guest service before, during and after the stay. The location was good, a short walk to Asilomar Beach which is a wonderful coastal trail with deer, bunnies & lots of birds in the early morning (before 7am). Was a bit disappointed that no bottled water was available in the room, and the lobby was locked before 8am and after 9pm when we wanted to get a drink. The coffee maker has water tasting of coffee, which is not ideal for non-coffee drinkers like myself. Toothbrushes not provided. My emails prior to the stay went unanswered. It was suggested that we pay $20 for laundry, and we had to ask multiple times where they either told us it was too early / too late and then to look for housekeeping to ask on our own. Night time is quiet but day time is noisy once housekeeping commences, and in the afternoon we had several calls and knocks on our door from housekeeping when we were trying to rest. They did not wait for us to answer but kept calling. I'm likely to choose a different place for future stays. There are several in this same location that are not as costly. I only chose this because the reviews seemed great.

The hotel is very close to the aquarium. The room was large and had a fireplace, which made it very warm. There was a long sofa bed by the window, but I kept hitting my head on the corner of the wall! I hit it so hard I forgot to take pictures. The bathroom faucet was leaking, and I called twice but no one answered. When checking in, the front desk saw Asian faces and put them in a different building. I had read other guest comments before and it turns out they were true. The other building had a long corridor connecting it, and the room faced the street, which was extremely noisy. There was a constant mix of music and loud motorcycle sounds. This night was too long, I had to wait until dawn. Breakfast was very good, generous portions and delicious. The restaurant and parking attendants were all very nice.

This is a neat and convenient hotel in a quiet neighborhood. 24-hour coffee, cocoa, tea and other drinks are provided, beautiful courtyard, convenient indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and indoor luggage. It included breakfast, but it was concise and delicious. There is also a shopping center right in front of you, so it was easy to buy food or drink. Above all, I would like to thank the friendly staff infinitely.

For a resort that starts at ~$2,000/night this place falls very short in various areas. For an all inclusive resort there were very few dining options (it was either the sur house or the pool side bar). Most of the staff were really friendly but we did feel like the housekeeping staff weren’t too professional at times (once they opened the door to our room even when we told them to give us a few seconds to get to the door). Although the resort is in a beautiful location, I don’t know if I would consider this place luxurious.

Unpleasant stay experience. At the time of check-in, there was no door*** at the entrance. Someone was in front of the registration. After leaving the question, the front desk staff did not take the initiative to receive it. I also asked for the initiative to go forward. There was no smile in the process. Applying for a crib at check-in, one is bad, and I don’t see it until I leave it. The breakfast was delivered to the room and it felt a bit like a fast food, cutlery plastic. When I checked out, when I asked if I could give me a bill, the service staff threw two sheets of paper at hand. I was shocked. I asked if there was an envelope and then I threw it. The details of such a service made me think that I lived in a normal hotel. By the way, the hotel will charge an additional $30 environmental fee, saying that the hotel is built in a protected area...

I stayed in Monterey for two nights to watch whales. The hotel is very close to the port and it is very convenient to drive for ten minutes. However, I was very seasick when I went out to sea. The hotel is in a good location and is an excellent place to enjoy the sea view along Highway 1. It was so beautiful to enjoy the sea view and sunset while having dinner in the hotel restaurant. The hotel environment is tidy and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you are driving Route 1, this hotel is worth recommending. Facilities: new Hygiene: good Good environment good service
