I stayed at this hotel for a 3-night period between Friday and Monday. The Hotel's location is quite convenient, only a couple of minutes walk away from both the Turin rail station and a metro station and 15 minutes walk away from some of the major sights and locations to be found. Several restaurants and cafes can be found in the neighborhood. I arrived quite late at night and had no issues with checking in at such a late hour. The room was a one-person room with a window overlooking the square, quite comfortable with a small flat-screen TV, a bed, a couple of chairs a clothes cupboard a small table, and an ensuite bathroom which may not be the most comfortable for tall and robust folk. Breakfast is served between 07:00 and 10:00.The continental breakfast was superb both in choice and quality. British-style breakfast is available as well but the food choice pales when compared to the continental breakfast, this doesn't mean however that it's bad by all means. Most of the time spent at the hotel was between bedtime and breakfast. Hotel hygiene was impeccable. Was surprised by toothbrushes and toothpaste being offered to guests. The staff was courteous and helpful with directions for major landmarks. Will be back here should the occasion arise.

Ottimi i materassi e i cuscini. Bellissimo il tavolo in cristallo. Porta blindata, WIFI veloce e gratuito.

Very nice hotel in a good location in the center of Turin. Nice rooms, well cleaned with nice decor. Fantastic staff who care about their customers. Want to mark a young guy at the front desk (I forgot to ask his name but it seems he is the only young guy at the front desk). He is very nice, social and has told us a lot about Turin and its sights and how we can reach them. Can highly recommend this hotel! If I come back to Turin, I'll stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It was a very convenient location being less than 5 min walk from porta nuova main train station and easy walk to downtown. However the hotel faces a street with the tram and buses and is very loud all night. In fact, when the tram passes by you can feel the building shake. The staff are nice but the facilities are very low standard- not sure why this is listed as 3 star. At most, should be 2 star. First, our bathroom was having issues such that when we flush the toilet, some of the waste water comes up the shower drain into the shower. I mentioned this to the front desk, and at first she said she is the only one there and cannot look into until the next day. I told her that it is very disgusting and we are unable to use the shower. Then she said she will look into it when we were out. When we came back in the evening, it was the same thing. By this time, the front office was closed and nobody was there. Yes that is correct, the hotel office closes at 7 pm on Sunday and 10pm other days. After these hours, there is no one to contact for help if you have any issues. This was such a horrible experience. Breakfast was included which was more of a continental breakfast, but the coffee made by the kitchen staff was good. I will not stay at this hotel again. Everyone is nice, but it’s more of a hostel feel to it than a hotel in my opinion.

Outstanding
GGuest UserVery central location (5 minutes walk from P. San Carlo), beautiful, large rooms, comfortable beds, good styling with modern and classical elements, fully-equipped bathroom, kitchenette and minibar, welcome amenity, friendly and helpful communication throughout the stay, self-service checkin outside reception opening hours without any problems and flawless --> VERY strong recommendation if you're ok with a no 24x7 reception, no embedded restaurant or breakfast place (for the latter - please remember that this is Italy - just go to one of numerous coffee bars in a very short walk, get yourself a cappuccino and a cornetto, and be happy!). Palazzo del Carretto is a perfect way to start your discovery of Torino. Loved it.
I recently stayed at Opera35 for two nights, but unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor service. Upon arrival, I was informed that there were no parking slots available for the first night (the hotel has, in fact, only 5 parking slots in front of it, while the private garage is at around 8 min walking). However, the receptionist did manage to secure a slot for the second night. Unfortunately, when I returned the next evening, I found that the slot was already occupied by another car. The gentleman at the front desk provided excuses but no solution. Additionally, I was not informed that the hotel is located in a ZTL (limited traffic zone) area until I realized it myself. When I asked for information, I was told that I should have paid a fee for the zone, which I found unacceptable (other hotels manage to get an exemption for it for their guests). During the shift change, the new staff member at the front desk suggested that I should have registered and paid for the access by myself, after my insistence, he said he could access to the system with the hotel’s credentials and asked me to make the request (I literally stepped back to the front desk and made the request myself). I did expect a higher level of service from a boutique hotel in a prime location, priced at over 200 euros per night. While the location and breakfast are amazing, and the rooms are satisfactory, the front desk service is subpar. Overall, I would rate the hotel as 0.
The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations because when we got off the elevator, there was a big plastic sheet covering the walkway (and not doing a great job of keeping the heat out). The room was small, but clean, and air conditioning was adequate if not great (possibly because it was fighting the hot air coming from the hallway). Location was an easy walk from the Porta Nuova train station, though a little bit of a walk to some of the main sights and restaurants. My suggestion would be if you stay here, get a data package for your mobile devices and rent one of the many scooters/e-bikes that are available to get around more quickly, especially if you're trying to get to the other side of the train station, you basically have to go all the way to the end and go around it to get to a through street. One other thing to be aware of if you are picky about amenities, the shower in the room is tiny. It's a perfectly acceptable room, but some travelers (especially those who haven't traveled in Europe before) will find it small. Also, the hotel holds your passports at check-in until you check out, which some travelers may find unsettling. I used to run into this a lot traveling in Europe up until maybe 2009-2010, but it seems to me many hotels now just simply scan your passports instead. We did not go to the spa, so I can't speak to that. One final tip, right nearby is a pizza place called Libery Pizza and Artigianal Beer that I would recommend. I wasn't a huge fan of their draft beer (not my style of beer, but your experience may vary -- my traveling partner enjoyed the beer and she's a craft beer person), but the appetizers and pizza were good, and they had good wine as well.
EErin KI stayed here in early June 2024 in a three bed female dorm (Room 236) and got bed bugs. The staff switched me to another room and gave me money to do laundry (nice of them) , but didn’t seem much surprised when I told them about the issue. BEWARE!!
Lidia is a perfect householder: gentle, pleasant and, not missing, fun. He brings you to take your room and tells you little stories and anecdotes, and makes you enjoy a permeated apartment of his travel, his memories, his passions, and, in short, his life. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, the kitchen is very comfortable with sweet food and salts, the bathroom is very equipped. Take any excuse, come to visit Torino and stay at Lidia.
Looking at the photographs it's clear that the rooms in this hotel vary considerably. We had a smallish modern looking room which was all we needed. Although situated next to a tram line the room was quiet due to the double glazing and roller shutters. Our bathroom was large but had the strangest taps I've ever seen. The hotel is four star rated but I think three would be more realistic and the decent price reflects this. The breakfast which was included was excellent although it's not the sort of thing I would like to contemplate if the hotel were operating at capacity.
Great little hotel. I picked this place because of the reviews and was not disappointed. The staff are kind and thoughtful, and I appreciated all of my interactions. It's a simple little hotel in a good location for wandering the city. San Salvario (the neighborhood) is better for the evenings, with not much to write home about in the day time, but there are dozens of restaurants within blocks. It's about 15 mins to Piazza Castello (sort of tourist center of the city), and the walk is largely pleasant. The room (I had a room with private bath and a queen bed) was comfortable and a nice size. I did not see the dorm so cannot comment on that. I gave it 5 stars based on price-range, so note that this is not a ”5 star hotel”, it's a great budget option.
GGuest UserWe stayed three days in Turin on a football game and we stayed 2 nights in this hotel in the city centre ...a two steps from all ...a castle square, the duomo, real palace .... clean and soundless rooms, sweet colazione...completa of all ...with the possibility of making orange swallows you do from yourself at the moment, more in place c is a very valuable restaurant with puglise cuisine ....absolute to try if you are in Torino ....we will certainly come back and the We will advise the Ns friends and knowers
DdamnspivIt's so convenient, the hotel is right next to the train station. There is a Michelin restaurant nearby, with a retro menu and two set menus, each priced at €35/person, which is both delicious and cost-effective.
VVinzaglio WangThe hotel is next to the Porta Susa train station. The internal facilities are very modern and well equipped and clean. The front desk is two Chinese people and very enthusiastic. The only downside is that the room fan I live in is very noisy and needs to wait until the lighting is turned off for a long time. The breakfast is relatively simple, with only a few kinds of bread and orange juice, and coffee. The price on the day of check-in is great value for money. Recommended!
