The reborn icon of the Riviera.Advantageously positioned on the French Riviera's La Croisette Boulevard, the Carlton Cannes, a Regent hotel, is a ravishing emblem of the Côte d'Azur. Exuding a Belle Epoque soul with ample modern twists, this lively icon fuses the lavish energy of La Croisette with a serene ambience for an unimaginable stay.

There is a sandy beach, which children love. Regent had a power outage for an hour during dinner, and a lot of drinks and Easter eggs were delivered to the room. The chocolate tasted good. Because I am a platinum member, I booked a room each on IHG and Ctrip. Compared with the way of handling power outage complaints, it is obvious that Ctrip responded more quickly and actively, and promised to immediately change me to other hotels of the same type if the power outage continues. The measures have practical actions and are trustworthy. On the other hand, after IHG members complained to the European hotline, they said they would understand the situation and call me back, and then nothing happened. Many Housekeeping in the hotel are African or Muslim, but the service is really good, it is worth recommending, and it is worth praising Ctrip! So I give five points.

The room is quite big. The toilet and bathroom are separated, which is convenient for the family. The toiletries in the bathroom are antipodes from my New Village, which is quite surprising. There are many types of breakfast, and the bread is freshly baked and very delicious. For parking, the hotel has a parking lot, but you can park on the roadside nearby at night, so there is no need to spend an extra 20 euros

when in Cannes, we use to go to the Gray d'Albion (THE best hotel in Cannes) but it was closed for the winter so we decided to try Le Canberra to spend my birthday. Wrongest decision!!! The hotel has no view of the sea and some of the rooms overlook rue d'Antibes that is very crowded and loud. The reception looks like the one of a 3-star hotel and I had the impression that the breakfast buffet is prepared in the same area. When we declined an upgrade to one of the rooms facing rue d'Antibes, as consolation we were given 2 - T W O - vouchers for 1 - O N E - drink each at the bar (2 drinks in 4 days of staying) and 2 chocolates. When we were proposed a parking open space for 35 € day (nearby garage costs 28 €) we accepted since we were tired but... attention! the hotel charged us 105€ at once and not at the ckeck-out. Our room was nice and clean but really cold so we had to request a small heather. At 01:30 in the night I was extremely sick and so we decided to go back to Milano since I had a raging fever that turned out to be COVID. Once home, I sent an email requesting the reimbursement of the remaining 2 nights offering to provide an official proof of illness. The answer was that the hotel was sorry to hear about my sickness but the rate was non refundable-non changeable. 7 hours at Le Canberra costed me 388 €, can you believe it? So, if you want to stay at Le Canberra (but I do not see why you would like to stay there), be prepared to a insipid, insignificant, lousy ”3-star posing as 4-star” hotel. And do not forget to check your health before making a reservation!

The hotel service is good, especially the service in the rooftop restaurant. The people are warm and in place.
I also like the decoration and facilities of the room very much. It's in Mediterranean style. It's very comfortable to live in, especially the mattress. It feels like you're sinking into it.

The location is fabulous! Second line to the beach and in the center of Cannes. Furniture is somewhat old but the room and drawers are spacious and have everything you need. You can’t get a spectacular view from the room or pool but it’s still very charming.

Excellent
GGuest UserWe spent 4 nights at the Abrial hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located 10 minutes walk from the Croisette, which is very convenient. Also right next to a street with lots of good restaurants including the Italian “Il Viaggio” which we recommend. The rooms are well insulated. The equipment is recent and in very good condition. Private parking (paid) is a little expensive but extremely practical. Breakfast is ok.
FFENGAlthough the hotel is 4 stars, it is not worse than five stars. The hotel is very new and the facilities are very good, especially the location, very close to the commercial street. To the south is the luxury sector, and to the north is the catering shopping street. It is also easy to go to the Movie Palace, 3 minutes walk. There are also delicious Chinese restaurants around. Suitable for vacation and business. Will choose here next time.
GGuest UserWe booked a room at the Hotel Verlaine through *********** for a decent price and even received an upgrade upon our arrival. The hotel is really lovely already from the outside and even offers the possibility to park directly at the property. Also on the street in front of the hotel we would have found a parking space without any problems. The hotel is modern, but at the same time beautifully and stylishly furnished. Of course, the central location is particularly fantastic. In less than five minutes we were at the beach and also the main shopping street is reachable in just a few minutes. On our next stay, we will definitely stay at the Hotel Verlaine again (if the room rates are similar).
I really want to like this hotel but there were a few things that were just not appropriate and this place has great potential but it needs some love! I was originally given a room that was great as far as size and bathroom, in fact, the room even had a big balcony with lounge chairs and a table for four, but….there was an awful odor in the room, like mold or a dead animal. I switched rooms before even unpacking and moved just across the hall, the room was a nice size, had a nice balcony, and a decent bathroom (the shower was tiny). The carpeting had stains, one of the sinks had a big chip in it, and when I used the shower, the water ran into the entire bathroom and room. Additionally, there was no iron or ironing board, no coffee maker, no soap dish (they provide bar soap but nowhere to put it), no clock (I realize this is not a big deal anymore since people use their phones l), no USB ports. This place could be a great boutique hotel by just replacing some furniture and soft goods, flooring, and providing amenities.
GGuest UserFirst of all, up to 5 stars of the hotel lacked a convenient location of the roses on the sides of the bed (one was at the bed and the other near the entrance).
The rest of the hotel is good. It was warm in the room, the air conditioner worked constantly for heating. The room was clean as in the photo on the Internet.
The bathroom was new, with fresh repair. We were provided with additional hygiene.
There is a staircase and an elevator in the hotel. To get to the rooms you have to walk through the breakfast room and climb up the other staircase above.
The concierge usually sits in the breakfast room, but as a crowd to someone comes - immediately approaches the entrance. Very polite all, we were able to leave the bags to the receptacle after the eviction. When entering the boarding house, they asked for a document - they took the driver's license instead of a passport without problems.
I asked for a room with the balcony, but it wasn 't as we were told, but we got the French balcony - beautiful !!!
The view was on the city, good.
Tterrie leeKimi Résidence has free parking and it meets basic needs. We stayed in the ground floor room with small kitchen - stove microwave and toaster
The bathroom doorknob was loose and the main door was hard to open with a key.
The room decor was very cozy and the beds were comfy.
Aadventurelover1990If this hotel was rated as a very good 3* hotel and therefore guest expectations were that of a 3* you'd likely be very happy. Having stayed in dozens of 4* hotels all over, this one doesn't quite match up. We are perfectly aware Cannes is not a cheap area and felt we did take this into account but it still felt expensive for what it is. The staff were very pleasant and did rectify the small issue of us having no shower curtain upon check-in, which meant water was literally flooding the bathroom when we took a shower. The rooms are perfectly clean although very small. The pool area was lovely although do note that the road noise means it is fine for a few days but probably not for a longer relaxing holiday. The sunbeds look nice but aren't adjustable therefore aren't particularly comfortable! Thankfully there are a few very comfy chairs around the pool which we took advantage of. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but we did enjoy visiting the local bakery each morning for a coffee and food (would recommend this). All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and the location is excellent, it just didn't quite live up to the standards we've experienced elsewhere.
BBoryanawas great to find this apartment with all the necessary we need for a short trip to Cannes during the Film Festival!
Just by the beach but in a very quiet and good location. Parking was proved with an extra tax, the Blue Café was nice and convenient with a good coffee and breakfast. All together we were pleasantly satisfied with our stay!
Thanks also for the kind welcoming host Natasha 🙏
