AAnonymous UserThe room was incredibly clean, the floors were so shiny you could see your reflection, I almost felt bad walking barefoot on them! The owners are a couple from Beijing who have lived in Fiji for over ten years. The airport pick-up service was super convenient. The owner can also help book day tours, and the pick-up/drop-off point is very close by, making it easy to get to the pier. There are many delicious Chinese restaurants nearby. I especially loved the driver the owner arranged for me on the second day; he ate, played, and chatted with me all along the way, sharing so many interesting facts about Fiji and introducing various amazing things. It was an excellent experience! Highly recommend! So convenient for a layover.

JJustin Yu_12The rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, and the views are absolutely perfect. The restaurant quality is also good, and watching the sunset at the fish bar was a fantastic experience. The staff are all incredibly well-trained, enthusiastic, and professional—it's not just a few individuals, but every single employee is welcoming and ready to assist with anything you need. Marriott's hotel training really shines through here. If I had to nitpick, the hotel sofas are a bit dated and starting to yellow slightly, and while the bed sheets are clean, they also show a bit of age with a slight yellowish tint. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I rarely sleep this well in a hotel. This is definitely a highly recommended top-tier hotel in Fiji.

KKingfeet99We had a very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff — everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always trying to help with a smile. You can tell the team really cares about the guests, and that makes a huge difference.
The hotel itself is quite remote and isolated, which can be either a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. There is no real private beach for swimming, so don’t expect a classic white-sand Fiji beach resort experience. However, the location is absolutely perfect for sunsets. The evening atmosphere is beautiful, calm, and very relaxing.
The breakfast is not really at a 5-star level in terms of variety or quality, but it is still more than sufficient and you will definitely find enough options to start the day well.
One thing that really feels outdated though: charging extra for Wi-Fi in the rooms in 2026 is honestly absurd. Hilton, seriously — what decade are we living in? Free room Wi-Fi should be standard at this level nowadays.

GGuest UserI really enjoyed my stay here and would happily stay again. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was amazing, and the view was beautiful. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better.
The only minor issues were that one of the toilets was broken during my stay, and the locker assigned to me was also broken, which was a little inconvenient. Aside from that, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hostel.

The beach in front of the hotel doesn't have great water quality, but the overall environment is decent. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but there's a Korean-run supermarket and restaurant nearby. Overall, it's pretty okay.

GGuest UserAll the staff members were absolutely amazing — their hospitality and service were top-notch! Illy's hospitality at JB’s bar and Pizza was amazing. You really don’t need to go outside the resort — everything you could want is right here! From delicious food and refreshing drinks to fun activities and a beautiful pool, it has it all. The resort has it's own Taxi which is reasonable and convenient. They provide currency exchange as well. Truly one of the best places to stay for a relaxing holiday infront of the beach. 🌴✨

GGuest UserOverall, the stay was just okay for a short period. The staff were friendly, but the facilities are clearly old and worn out – they really need urgent investment. The bathroom, unfortunately, was a disaster: a simple plastic seat, loose fixtures, and only hand soap. On the positive side: the pool was fine, the people were nice, and the food offered some variety. There are alternatives right outside the hotel, so you're not dependent on it. Conclusion: For a short overnight stay of up to two days – for example, upon arrival or departure – the hotel is acceptable. It's not recommended for longer stays.

GGuest UserHelpful, happy and friendly staff who were there to greet us when we arrived on the complimentary shuttle bus that picked us up from the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the 3 of us. Very good air-conditioning. Beautiful gardens and surroundings throughout the whole place. Good breakfast provided and the dinner menu had a good selection and we enjoyed our meals. The restaurant staff were excellent. Happy, cheerful, and quick service. The pool was clean with plenty of areas to sit and relax or have a refreshing swim. The front desk were happy to call a taxi if needed.

GGuest UserCheck in was after 3pm, check out 10:30 , and you have to get the towel from the reception. Too many rules plastered in the room as if you are going to rob them. A deposit of FJD50 in cash is required (no drinks in the room whatsoever, just instant coffee). I asked if I can check out before 12nn but was allowed only up to 11am. When I went back to get my luggage, the lady told me that I was supposed to have checked out already, without even asking if I already did. Only the cleaning staff were helpful. Would not recommend.
