The hotel is quite new, and the room was lovely, with a pleasant scent upon entering. The pillows were very comfortable, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options. In the front desk area, there's complimentary fruit tea, coffee, hot water, and oranges. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to the Tourist Center, which you can book at the front desk (it's just a few minutes away from the Huangguoshu Third Tourist Center). There's a gym and a laundry room (though it gets busy with people washing and drying clothes in the evening; you can check availability on the room TV and scan a code to see your laundry's status). This is my second stay at an Orange branded hotel, and overall, it's been a great experience. Highly recommended!

What an unexpected gem of a hotel! From the moment I stepped into the room until my reluctant departure, every detail redefined my understanding of what a 'travel sanctuary' could be. It wasn't just a room; it was a period of time enveloped in tenderness. The榻榻米 tea area by the window, the room layout, the bathing space – all simple yet incredibly elegant. The hotel breakfast was an absolute delight! A nine-compartment wooden bento box, brimming with delicious, homely flavors. And the service details – from the front desk staff, to the shuttle service, and even the kitchen auntie – I felt pampered at every turn. I experienced a 'five-star feeling of happiness' here, not because of luxurious facilities, but because of the warmth of being treated like family while on a journey.

Highly recommend this guesthouse! The environment is fantastic: lush lawns, dense forests, adorable animals, and individual wooden houses… The service is also excellent: our class reunion team-building event had over thirty people, and the manager and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, from setting up the buffet to arranging the bonfire party. They even created a special service group for us, always ready to assist us. In short, it was a very meaningful team-building event that ended perfectly. Many thanks to the entire guesthouse staff for their hard work and to the owner for the generous discounts!

Here's the bottom line: it's worth staying here. During the summer vacation, the best price for a twin room was 600+ RMB, which is a bit inflated, but understandable for peak season. Pros: 1. The hotel is on Tunbao Road, not far from the first, second, and third visitor centers of Huangguoshu Scenic Area. Plus, the hotel has a seven-seater shuttle van for pick-ups and drop-offs. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to Balinghe Bridge. 2. The room is spacious enough, the shower pressure is excellent, the lighting in the room is bright, and there's a balcony with a fold-down wall-mounted drying rack, which is very convenient for doing laundry. 3. The service is warm and friendly. We took a direct bus from Anshun West Station to the first visitor center, and after contacting the hotel in advance, they specially arranged a car to pick us up. Throughout our stay, transfers were prompt; just call the front desk. The shuttle driver drove smoothly and communication was great. 4. It's clean and hygienic. The hotel facilities aren't brand new, but they are well-maintained overall. 5. Opposite the hotel is a wetland park. During peak season, there are bonfire parties and performances every night, which are worth checking out. If you walk further into the wetland park, there's a sluice gate with a nice view. Cons: 1. The room lighting relies entirely on a white remote control. At first, I didn't realize this and thought there was no power in the room, until I asked the front desk. 2. The TV remote control has poor contact; you have to press down on the battery to make it work. Also, if the screen turns blue, you need to restart the power button on the white set-top box (the one without an antenna). 3. The breakfast is very average. The egg fried rice and porridge are okay, but the Chinese restaurant's food is mediocre and not cheap, so I don't recommend it. In summary, if you're traveling with your whole family, including seniors and kids, this hotel is a top choice. Alternatively, Kaiyuan is also good and not far away, or for a bit more money, you could stay directly in the scenic area at Qian*Ju. All three core areas of Huangguoshu are worth visiting and can be split over two days. Remember to book tickets for Shuilian Cave 15 days in advance.

This guest house is about 10 mins (1km) walk from Huangguoshu ticket office/public coach terminal stop. So if you are travelling light, it's ok. Otherwise, it could be a bit incovenience. You may find the neighbourhood not that appealing, but it's convenient to find restaurants around. The place is really spacious, clean and tidy. I slept well while staying there. The girl at the reception is very helpful and friendly. Dont get put off by its location. It's worth to stay.

Hotel is in a great location within the scenic reserve. It is around 360m from the VIP station if you decide to purchase the 3 day VIP tickets which was the best decision we’ve made: no bus queues and exclusive stops, routes and exemptions. Only 100m from the hotel affords you a great view of the Huangguoshu waterfall, continue on a bit further you get various viewpoints which are increasingly amazing. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Although this guesthouse isn't centrally located, the owner provides shuttle service to and from the scenic area's shuttle bus stop, which is quite convenient. The room is a suite, quite spacious, nicely decorated, and very smartly equipped. Our family had a very comfortable stay. The balcony outside the room is filled with various beautiful flowers and plants, which is very pleasing to the eye. After sightseeing, sitting on the balcony, drinking beer, and enjoying the cool breeze washes away the day's fatigue—it's simply wonderful.

The hotel's location is excellent; turn left outside, and you can catch a tourist bus to various scenic routes. The hotel itself is quite good, with a well-equipped gym and laundry room, and the breakfast is also decent. Five-star praise goes to the hotel's operations manager! We met him when our child was playing in the pool, and he gave us many great tips on how to explore the Big Waterfall and other fun and tasty spots nearby. We followed his advice: in the morning, we went to Tianxingqiao, then did the 'Little Yellow Duck' rafting. Around 4 PM, we visited the Big Waterfall and walked through the Water Curtain Cave. At the exit, we tried Gongding tea. Because rafting took up some time, we had to skip Doupotang, saving it for a night tour next time. Finally, at Visitor Center No. 2, we used our package ticket for the 'Fly Over Huangguoshu' experience. It was a perfect day, and we're very grateful for the suggestions!

The most beautiful Homestay I have been to in all of China. The staff were so kind and helpful, assisting us with free transport to the scenic area, free laundry, and we're so attentive. The breakfast was great with good variety. They even gave us a free upgrade upon arrival and our room was stunning for a low cost. It is a bit of a walk to restaurants but that didn't bother us at all as it was a perfect quiet retreat. We wished we could have stayed longer, highly reccomend, thank you so much!!! 🩷

I must praise the hotel's attention to detail! The bathroom was spotless with a separate shower and toilet, the toiletries had a pleasant, light fragrance, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices, including local specialty rice noodles. The value for money was outstanding, and I've already recommended it to my friends. The receptionist, Xiao Chen, provided excellent service—attentive and patient. Thumbs up!
