Facilities: Complete facilities. Hygiene: Very clean and tidy, the sheets are all new. Environment: In the tranquil mountain scenery surrounded by mountains. Service: The boss and his wife are very warm and thoughtful. They waited for us at the gate with an umbrella at 8:30 pm. The child was not feeling well, and the boss said that if you feel uncomfortable in the middle of the night and want to go to the hospital, I will drive you. This time I experienced the warmth of home. Touched and grateful 🙏 Bring your family here for vacation next time.

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and find a secluded haven amidst the green mountains of Tonglu: Nanshan Yijing. The gentle, minimalist space, with its log cabins and wabi-sabi aesthetic, is bathed in sunlight streaming through the glass swimming pool overhead. Looking down, you can see the water rippling, and the play of light and shadow gently dances within the room—a uniquely romantic touch. Opening the floor-to-ceiling windows reveals a tranquil mountain landscape: rolling green hills, rice paddies, and ancient trees. Sipping a drink by the window, watching the artificial rain curtain fall softly, the sound of rain mingling with the verdant scenery, instantly soothes all anxieties. This place offers more than just beautiful scenery; it boasts a wealth of recreational facilities: an indoor pool table, retro arcade games, and a children's building block area—a dedicated play area for kids and a relaxing space for adults; a private hot spring courtyard and an outdoor lawn with a canopy—perfect for picnics and enjoying the breeze during the day, or soaking in the private hot spring in the evening while listening to the gentle breeze. The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with a projector, allowing you to enjoy the mountain scenery from your bed or snuggle up to watch a movie before sleep. The bathrooms are fully equipped with smart home features, ensuring maximum comfort. A hearty Chinese breakfast is also provided each morning. No need to rush; at Nanshan Yijing, slowing down is the true meaning of a vacation. During the day, enjoy free stream trekking and water activities nearby, and at night, drift off to sleep to the gentle breeze of the mountain forest. This is a wonderful mansion, we had one sunlight room with glass walls, the room is clean, bathroom has a smart toilet and a very nice shower head that shows the temperature of the water. The towel is one time use towel so very thin and drying power is quite limited. There was a simple breakfast with a bun, corn, a sweet potatoe, a shaomai. There were snacks in the room and plenty of bottled water and snacks in the lobby, super nice for hot summer. The owners are a very nice and friendly couple, we wanted to go to the tianzidi amusement park and they let us leave our luggage there and sent us and picked us up to and from there. The location is half an hour drive from the qiandaohu train station, taking a didi taxi is roughly 100 rmb. (Qiandaohu is the closest train station, not the tonglu station!!) Overall it was a very nice stay.

A bright window embedded in the yellow mud wall brings the green mountains caressed by the flowing clouds into view. Oh, isn't this lying in the Fuchun Mountain Residence? The architectural body and interior design of Liuyun Country Villa are impeccable, bright and simple but with everything you need, everything you need but just right. The yellow of the yellow mud is the basic color, the color of the earth, the color of the countryside, blending between the green plants and the shelter of the mountains, like the skin color of a beautiful woman showing her clothes. There is a row of narrow windows between the preserved warehouse wall and the wooden beam roof. Through it, you can see the stars at night and the shadows of the clouds reflected by the moon when you lie on the bed. And it is also the morning call to wake you up in the morning. The housekeeper is a self-deprecating boy who is a little fat. He is polite and enthusiastic, and is simply a warm man. He arranged everything very considerately for us who just arrived, and reminded us of things that we may not have noticed, which made us feel like spring breeze. Looking forward to coming again next time.

The room was great, and the bathtub was a nice touch. The flowers outside the entrance were the prettiest on the whole street, making for a lovely spot to relax. The reception area had a big projector that played cartoons, which instantly quieted the kids down. Breakfast was delicious, and they even offered sweet or savory zongzi depending on whether guests were from the north or south, which was incredibly thoughtful! The owners were so welcoming and enthusiastic. They gave us excellent directions, offered great tips on where to go and what to see, and recommended fantastic places to eat. All their suggestions felt genuine and helpful, with no ulterior motives. Highly recommend!

## Nestled in Tonglu's Painterly Landscape | A Short Account of Yisongshuling, Lucun Village As the outside world receded, the invigorating spirit of the landscape washed over me. Stepping inside, it was immediately clear that the hosts possess a true appreciation for life. It wasn't about ostentatious 'design,' but rather a subtle integration of modern elements into aged wood, pristine white walls, and warm lighting. The room was spacious, and smart home features silently anticipated every need, making it feel like living in a futuristic poem – a poem, nonetheless, that rhymed with the mountains and the moon. My absolute favorite was the window. Mornings brought mist hovering over the river like a delicate veil, while at night, stars seemed to tumble into the deep, inky mountains. Sitting quietly by the window, listening to the wind whisper through the bamboo and watching water birds glide over the emerald ripples, I suddenly understood why ancient scholars always sought to 'steal moments of leisure' – the sublime beauty of nature is, after all, the most priceless of gifts. The home-cooked meals prepared by Auntie carried the warmth of the earth itself. Bamboo shoots, freshly dug from the back mountain that very morning, and fish, caught straight from the river, were simply prepared. Yet, their exquisite freshness transported me back to my grandmother's kitchen in childhood. Each bite felt like a gentle blessing from the mountains and waters. The staff always greeted us with a smile, striking the perfect balance, like old friends. There was no need to ask; they had already quietly anticipated and prepared everything. And if solitude was desired, they would simply leave you with a tranquil, gentle quietude. Departing felt like waking from a beautiful dream. This wasn't merely accommodation; it was unequivocally a few days spent dwelling in a fairyland. I left imbued with its spiritual essence, and I swear I even 'stole' half a window's worth of its magnificent scenery. —Perhaps true luxury never needs to flaunt itself; it simply, gently restores you to being one with nature. ### Tips * **Room types:** Diverse options available; a mountain view room is highly recommended. * **Must-try dishes:** Auntie's local chicken hotpot and stir-fried wild bamboo shoots. My personal favorite was the freshly made dried vegetable and pork patty – incredibly fragrant! * **Activities:** Take a stroll along the ancient path beside the guesthouse, where you can walk alongside the Fuchun River, with distant mountains as your backdrop. * **Nearby attractions:** It's very close to the Mailing Ancient Path, definitely worth a hike. The establishment was incredibly thoughtful. They helped upgrade our room, and when they heard our friend had to rush for a train and would miss breakfast, they kindly packed some fruit for them to eat on the go. Auntie also kept everything impeccably clean. **”When paradise is here, why search elsewhere?”**

The view from the room is superb, especially the balcony, facing the Fuchun River, with mountains, trees and roads in the distance. The boss is very considerate and will prepare fruits, snacks and tea when you go back (ps: the tea is better than outside), which makes you feel like you are home. There are few shops around, so it is not easy to order takeout at night, but it is convenient to have drinks downstairs. There are many people in the scenic area during the holidays, so it is also nice to stay downstairs in the homestay and chat with the boss.

Peace and Quiet in the Mountains. This Hotel is a short drive to the south of Tonglu and into the hills. A superb spot for a quiet break away from the noise and busy city life of Hangzhou. The room was spacious and well presented with a huge bed, very large seating area, Mini bar, fridge, air purifer and even a projector with movies. The bathroom was well appointed with a rain shower and huge bath which was amazing for a soak after a day outside. Hot water with good pressure was always available. The towels and toiletries were of excellent quality. Because the Hotel is in the mountains it is advised to pre order food if you plan on eating there as the staff have to go to the market to pick up supplies. We had dinner on our first night and I enjoyed it. The food was plentiful and full of flavour. We also enjoyed a couple of drinks downstairs at the lobby. Breakfast is local style with rice porrige, pickles, egg and some fruit as well as steamed items. You can take a walk nearby though I didn't find any path through the bamboos to the hills which would have been nice. On the second night we took a car to the nearby village for dinner and a walk along the main river.

Taking the kids to OMG Paradise, we booked a guesthouse that exceeded our expectations. Cleanliness: I used to dislike guesthouses because of hygiene issues, but this completely changed my mind. The room was super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Facilities: The room provided disposable face towels and bath towels, which was super convenient. There was also a fire escape rope; kudos to the owner for their safety awareness! Service: The owner called in advance to confirm our arrival time, and even though we arrived late at night, the owner was waiting for us and even upgraded our room for free.

This place is nice, but i would not consider it a hotel. It’s somewhere in between a B&B and a hotel. The rooms are pretty ok in size and come with balconies, the aircon is strong enough for the hot summer days. However, be prepared to be far from any food or drink delivery! It is really remote. It has a great view, although they tell you they have a hotspring it is man-made u could just order the room with a bathtub it will be similar, and not need to pay 500rmb for it.  The in-house food is not bad, I would recommend to order one day in advance. They also offer for 500rmb, barbecue services which i think is outrageous as it does not include food cost. The beds in the room are very very uncomfortable. If u have a bad back, just go for the international starred hotels. They have huge big insects coming in at night, do be careful not to let any of them in at night.
