Mr. Bean Holiday is a warm and comfortable homestay located in Semporna, Sabah. It is about an hour from Tawau Airport and about 15-minutes drive from Semporna town and boat jetty. We have a free shuttle to and from boat jetty everyday. We can arrange island hopping trip based on your needs. Our room is designed to provide you with a comfortable, clean and safe stay. For leisure time, you may stop by at our lobby or bar for music and drink a cup of tea or wine, or you may also relax at the balcony, or enjoy the swimming pool and sun bath. Room and Cleanliness: We stayed in a single-family wooden house, which was clean and tidy. Toiletries were provided, and the room even had a balcony, so after a trip to the sea, we could hang our laundry on the balcony and it dried quickly! Environment and Transportation: The resort is like a small park, with the rooms surrounding a small lake. After dinner, strolling around the lake was quite relaxing, with rabbits and monkeys nearby. Transportation: The resort runs a shuttle to town at a fixed time every day, so those who book a trip don't have to worry about it; they'll deliver you to Longmen Wharf or Haifeng Wharf in the morning. The owner and driver are very friendly and helpful with any special requests. Food and Service: The resort staff are very friendly, especially the owner, who often serves everyone in the restaurant. You can also buy seafood at the seafood market for you, which is excellent and affordable. If you're traveling with him, the owner will also help you bargain. The seafood you buy is also deliciously prepared at the restaurant. After a tiring trip to the sea or playing, a seafood feast is a perfect way to relax! What was most heartwarming was the owner—a particularly amiable Chinese woman who spoke fluent Chinese throughout our visit, making communication a breeze. From the warm welcome upon check-in, to her support for us after landing at the airport, recommendations for value-for-money restaurants, accompanying me to the clinic to get my medication after falling ill, to her thoughtful reminders upon check-out—every detail made it feel like being at a friend's home. For first-time visitors like us, having such a warm and knowledgeable owner around made our trip much more reassuring. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Semporna; staying here is not only comfortable, but also makes you feel like family. Most importantly, while water and electricity are at a premium in Semporna, our hotel provided unlimited hot water for showering every day, which was very comfortable.

I came here with my wife for diving and stayed here again. I added the boss lady on WeChat when I stayed here last time. This time, the boss lady was busy running around for my wife to dive. I would like to express my gratitude. Because it happened to be the Malay New Year, the boss and the boss lady were gone, and only Master Zhou was watching the store. Many things were troublesome to him. He is a generous and smiling good man. A few days later, the boss came back and had a drink with the boss. As a result, we waived the money for washing clothes and drinking in the past few days. So everyone remember to find the boss to drink in the evening when you come, hahahaha. The hotel hardware is ordinary, mainly the service is good, so I won’t post the hotel pictures, just post the scenery, I wish the boss a prosperous business
