Hotels near Meyve ve Terevez, Baku

When I checked in I was told the door is broken so I could not open it with the electronic key and they'll open it, but it's gonna be fixed the next day. Of course it was never fixed and I had to ask the staff to open it for me every time. Felt REALLY awkward. Then some day some random woman (she was working here I believe) just opened my door and walked in while I was in my room at midnight, saw me, said sorry and run away. What was that I have no idea, but it kinda gives you an idea about their take on privacy. The TV was not working, because the cable was literally torn apart, the WiFi broke down several times and one time it was more than 24 hours. The showerhead was broken, the water from the shower never went the way it supposed to, but straight to the floor, the toilet was not really attached to the floor (thankfully it was attached to communications). With that being said, I still think the hotel is okay for the price, the room was nice, big and clean and had a personal balcony and the staff were really friendly.

Decided to pay a little extra and go with this hotel and we weren’t disappointed. The room was big and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the gym is good 👍. Only downside was that the pool is either too cold or too windy. Given the fact that the main recent we booked it was for the pool, it is a shame that we didn’t get to swim much! Staff are very friendly.

During my first trip to Azerbaijan, I really hesitated for a long time when booking a hotel. Finally, we booked the Baku International Travel Agency Sheraton Hotel, which is very close to the ancient city metro station. From the conclusion, it is correct to book the Sheraton Baku International Travel Service Hotel, which is very cost-effective. 1. It is very close to the Gucheng subway station, about 10 minutes' walk. It takes only ten minutes to walk to the ancient city. There is an underground passage to the right of the hotel door. After passing through, you will find the seaside park to see the Caspian Sea. The rooms and restaurants on the Caspian Sea side have beautiful sea views without any obstruction. It is so happy to watch the sunrise and have breakfast every day. 2. Very close to the Carpet Museum, a few hundred meters 3. There is a large shopping mall and supermarket just a few hundred meters away, making shopping convenient. 4. There was another small episode during this stay. After I checked in that day, I found that the room was different from the room type I had booked, so I reported it to the front desk. As a result, a large tour group had just checked in that day and no room was available. Mr. Samad at the front desk and Elvira, the blonde manager, actively helped us solve the problem and thoughtfully gave us snacks, fruits, etc., and also attached a handwritten note. of cards. I have been in Japan for more than 20 years and have worked for Japanese airlines. I think that Japan’s service is world-class. Unexpectedly, I also experienced service at the Baku International Travel Service Sheraton Hotel in Azerbaijan that is not inferior to Japan’s. Besides, the restaurant is also very good. The breakfast is rich in variety and the dishes are often changed. Every chef works conscientiously. They not only cook the dishes, but also pay attention to everything about the guests. When picking up the dishes, if you are not careful, the tongs will touch. Looking at the lighting above the dishes, the two chefs immediately adjusted the lights above the dishes. Among the breads, the croissant pie type is most recommended. It is freshly baked, crispy and very delicious. Of course, whole wheat and nut breads are also good. Mr. Murad from the restaurant also greeted us in Chinese, often came over to see what we needed, and then brought us hot coffee or tea. They are always paying attention to their guests and you can really feel their warm service. Regarding towels, mineral water, slippers, etc., call the front desk, and the handsome guy from the room service will bring them immediately, very fast. I stayed at the Baku International Travel Agency Sheraton Hotel for eight nights. It is like this every time. It is very good. I have returned home after my trip to Baku, Azerbaijan, and I would like to sincerely thank all the hotel staff, headed by the beautiful manager Elvira, for giving me many good experiences and new feelings during my trip. Next time I go to Baku, Azerbaijan, I hope to stay at the Baku International Travel Agency Sheraton Hotel. Thanks again to all the staff.

We really liked this place (although some minor things needed improvement). In summary, we would definitely go back. Good things: Lovely lobby area, recently upgraded hotel and enormous bedroom and bathroom - we had a balcony and looked over a quiet side street, although friends had a noisy room at the back. The place had the character of a boutique hotel. $2 taxi ride to most tourist areas, 2 supermarkets, bakeries, cafes and park nearby in pleasant suburb. Helpful staff, particularly at the entrance - get them to call any taxis you need using their app, as it is much cheaper that way. Lots of power points, good toiletries, decent safe, free water each day, tea and coffee, fridge, very good shower, good shaving/cosmetic mirror, firm bed giving a great sleep,, good internet. Other; The housekeeping was variable, e.g. the toilet was not cleaned or bins emptied one day, and I needed to chase up toilet paper another day. The bathroom at times had a drain smell. The breakfast buffet was good but I had language and other issues getting some gluten free food - the staff tried though and the manager sorted things out more than once.

We stayed in 3-Bed Room from 2nd to 8th Sept. 2024. The room was very well decorated and comfortable. The staff at Reception, Restaurant and Hosekeeping were very polite and cooperative. Breakfast had a wide variety of healthy food items to choose. The location was good with XALQ Bank nearby for currency exchange. Overall, our trip was very enjoyable and good hotel stay added to our nice experience. The tariff was also moderate.

During my first visit to Baku, I encountered the hotel receptionist, who left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, his attitude was far from hospitable. Despite our request and willingness to pay extra for early check-in, we were made to wait for 2 hours only to be told it was not possible, and all this was conveyed with a rude and insulting demeanor. The overall lack of professionalism was disappointing. Furthermore, the hotel seemed to have a spooky atmosphere, and the receptionist's unpleasant attitude only added to the negative experience. It's worth noting that the hotel isn't suitable for families with children. Fortunately, there are plenty of other wonderful accommodation options within the city, where the staff are warm and welcoming. I couldn't help but wonder if the hotel's owner has plans to close down, which might explain the discourteous behavior. 200% not recommended to anyone.

We have just returned home from a very enjoyable 11 night stay at this hotel. Our room (214) was spacious, bright and comfortable. The air conditioning could do with being set to a couple of degrees cooler, as it did feel hot most nights. The shower is good and the room has a kettle and fridge. Very tastefully furnished. Housekeeping is flawless - thank you. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice. The food is very good and so is the service. The views of the FlameTowers are stunning. Breakfast is also served on the top floor. Omelettes cooked to order and plenty of buffet cheeses , meats and salads. My only disappointment was with the bread. Freshly baked rolls and more locally baked bread would be a big improvement. We booked the hotel partly because it had a spa. Unfortunately this was under renovation during our stay and so closed to guests. Surely this could be communicated in advance? This was a disappointment for us, as we were planning to make use of this facility. Another area which could be improved is the garden on the 3rd floor. We sat out there a couple of times and although they have comfortable chairs and cushions, the whole area felt a bit scruffy and underutilised. Improving this area by having a proper coffee/cocktail bar and watering the hanging baskets would make a difference. The staff in the hotel are lovely. One lady in particular (I’m afraid I don’t know her name) spoke with us every day and was always friendly and helpful. All the reception staff are professional and pleasant. I can recommend this hotel for it’s perfect location in the Old Town, walking distance to everywhere you need. We felt it was also good value for money. This is a clean and comfortable hotel with fantastic views from the roof top. We had a great time in Baku and although there are some improvements which can be made, I can highly recommend the Shirvanshah Hotel.

We popped in for a cocktail and then went to the toilet beautiful setting, amazing service.....couldn't have asked for more....we only went in for 1 drink so I'm struggling to write.... 200 characters.......!@#£%^&*(((((((()))((((((

Great location in the old city right by the walls and within easy walking disgrace of all of Baku's many attractions. Thy also organised both our airport pick up and return and all went very smoothly for a very reasonable charge. Room was comfortable with a small balcony that got afternoon sun. Breakfast was a large buffet style on the rooftop with great views. The only downside to our stay was that twice, at 1600, our room was not cleaned and as we take a siesta we needed a cleaned room by that hour which is not unreasonable. In fairness to them when we called reception they sent someone immediately.
