Mercure Properties in Baku

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in March 2026. The hotel is modern and clean, and the staff are very polite and always ready to help with any request. We really liked that the hotel has its own SPA salon, where you can relax for free in the sauna after long walks (the pool was not working during our stay) and book a massage (for an additional fee). What we didn't like was the view from our window – a wall and the windows of a neighboring hospital. Because of this, the curtains in our room were always drawn. We probably could have asked for a different room, but we checked in at 2 AM and just wanted to sleep. In the mornings, we were out on tours and didn't return until late evenings. The room was cleaned and towels were changed daily. Also, the hotel provides excellent shampoo and shower gel with a fantastic scent. It's worth noting that the hotel is located on a hill, so returning uphill on foot after long walks can be a bit challenging. Luckily, taxis in Baku are very affordable, which was a huge help.
