We had a really bad stay here. The cottage is old and in desperate need of renovation. Appliances and fixtures are old and worn. The beds are super hard and there is no WiFi which means you need to go to the main building. Data service on mobile is patchy as you are in the countryside. The hotel also tried to charge us an additional 2000JPY a night to cover utilities which we refused, having shown them the paid bill with trip.com. I would not recommend

We were family of 4 member, was assigned with villa number 7. The house is cleaned and spacious , equipment with all the amenities. The only negative thing is that there is no wifi provided in the villa, and the mobile data connection is also for " sos call only." We spent a night in the villa without any connection to the world.

It seems to have been renovated, and it is cleaner than before COVID. The rooms and hot springs are great! The staff are also kind and everyone is very nice. It's a shame that the restaurant in the hotel was closed. We went out to eat, so we couldn't drink alcohol 🥲 This is my third visit, and I'm always happy to see the monkey family (a pretty big group) in the parking lot 😊

The accommodation is good, clean, has an onsen, and the atmosphere is very good.
