Considering self-driving, I chose the Mercure Hotel near the A**weng High-speed Railway Station. The hotel is generally acceptable, the buffet breakfast is relatively simple, there is free parking, and it is a 10-minute drive from the city center. There are no commercial facilities around. Checking the map, it seems that there is a larger Carrefour.

The hotel is a few hundred meters walk from Avignon Central Station. It is very close to the main street of the old city and is very convenient. This is a treasure hotel, the space is very large, clean and elegant, and it is very comfortable to bring a small courtyard. Very good value for money place. The service attitude is very good, can communicate in English, at least the two receptions I encountered have no problems. The church remodeled homestay in the center of the old city is quite interesting. There are many places to eat and play around, and you can walk to the Pope's Palace. Parking is not very convenient, our car is large, let us park outside the city.

Reasonable Prices: During the festival, the hotel's prices were very reasonable. This was a rare opportunity, allowing us to enjoy a high-quality stay during the festival without having to worry about overcharging.
Excellent Location: The hotel is located in the heart of the A**ion, within walking distance to many of the main attractions and various festival venues. It was very convenient to get around, saving a lot of time and transportation costs.
Comfortable Rooms: The hotel's rooms are very comfortable, warmly decorated and well-equipped. The beds were particularly comfortable and the cleanliness of the rooms was very high, ensuring a good stay.
Friendly Service: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and the entire process from check-in to check-out was very smooth. Especially during the festival, the front desk staff provided a lot of useful information and suggestions.

GGuest UserI rented a car from Paris and returned it in A**on. I chose this hotel next to the train station. It's 2-3 minutes' walk to the train station, which is really convenient. The room the hotel gave me was facing the train platform on the sunny side. I couldn't hear the noise of the rails in the room. It turned out that the hotel had three glass windows installed, which was so heartwarming!
The only drawback was that it didn't indicate how to enter the hotel. We followed the house number navigation to an intersection and a freight entrance and exit. We couldn't park or enter. It took some trouble and almost missed the return time.
This hotel is especially suitable for tourists who take the train in and out. It's really convenient. And the 2-minute road from the hotel elevator to the train station is all flat, so it's smooth with luggage!
