The hotel is very clean, the location is good, the breakfast is very good, and the restaurant can see the Acropolis ruins from afar. The front desk service is very enthusiastic. Because I arrived in the early morning, the taxi driver overcharged me and switched the package for 100 euros. I encountered setbacks when I complained to the police. The front desk assisted in the online complaint, but no feedback has been received so far.

I took the last room available, a single room, and was not looking forward to a small room but very pleasantly surprised. The room was compact but very nicely furnished. These rooms have been modernised recently and was absolutely perfect for my needs for a one-night stay in Athens. Excellent shower and air conditioning. I slept very well, the only negative comment would be that I was woken very early by the noise of staff getting breakfast ready. The hotel is quietly situated in a side street very close to the Acropolis entrance and just a short walk down the hill from the city centre tour bus drop off. It's also just a few minutes walk from the Acropolis metro stop. The roof terrace has beautiful views and you can buy a drink from the downstairs bar and take it up to the roof. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend Acropolis View Hotel for single travellers.

Royal Olympic Hotel is a fabulous hotel, beautifully decorated with Athenian marble and offers great views of the Acropolis and Athens especially from the rooftop restaurant. It’s worth it to pay a little extra for a room with a view of the city and The Acropolis! ! Breakfast was very good but not to par with the hotel’s 5 star rating. Though the restaurant service is excellent. In today’s world with so many tech devices, there is insufficient electrical receptacles in the room especially by the nightstand and bathroom and there are no USB type charging receptacles. Perhaps it’s time for a makeover into the tech world while maintaining the classic elegance Royal Olympic Hotel offers.

Getting to the hotel was easy. There was a man who seemed to be a homeless person in a vacant lot nearby, but there were restaurants nearby so I don't think it was that dangerous. The staff were very kind and gentle. The restaurant on the rooftop of the hotel was wonderful! There was a welcome drink service. It seems to turn into a bar 🍸 at night. The view from the rooftop was also amazing. The room was clean. It was compact but spacious enough. There was a refrigerator, kettle, and amenities. It was comfortable. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Absolute gem of a hotel! The service from the staff and the facilities are impeccable. Room was clean and comfortable and the hot tub on the terrace was a lovely touch. The area where the hotel is located is perfect for sightseeing - 10/15 walk to the Acropolis and a metro/tram/bus stop right outside.

The room is big enough, fully equipped, and is a 10-minute walk from the Acropolis. It takes more than an hour to get to the airport by subway, which is very convenient.

Great location, room is small but it got everything we need, staffs are very helpful, helped me with phone charger plug, last day they let us eat breakfast before the official opening hour because we had to leaves at 7am for the ferry. It’s one block away from the sightseeing bus stop, I mean if going to the Acropolis is your main goal, this hotel is a good choice, it is close to Prakka area and many restaurants in walking distance, 5-10 min walk to the entrance of the Acropolis And the museum. It has some road noise but it is in the city, we only stay 3 nights there, I didn’t feel like taking a taxi or Uber or metro train, we like the location of this hotel a lot. Would recommend to our friends.

What a delightful hotel. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights from the 2nd to the 6th of December '23. Thye staff were more than helpful, from the staff at breakfast to the reception staff and the young chap on the door. The breakfast was ample with a good selection of hot and cold food. The views from the dining area were spectaular from either side. The bedroom was ample with balcony. The house maids cleaned and tidied the room every morning. The shower was hot and with great water pressure. We will certainly stay in this hotel when we return to Athens. To all of the staff....'take a bow'... you deserve it !

Although the rooms are small, they are still quite clean and tidy! The hotel breakfast is quite rich, yogurt and coffee, bread + bacon and cheese, very delicious. Honey is added to yogurt and coffee, which is natural and delicious. The front desk, room service and restaurant staff are very warm and friendly. There are many attractions and restaurants near the hotel. Food, accommodation and transportation are perfect
