2-Star Hotels in Atami

This is a traditional Japanese Ryokan style hotel. All instructions are in English however, means there are foreigners regularly staying here. There is a open air onsen (hot bath) which is very pleasant. Must be reserved in advance. Drinks can be bought at 200 yen a pop. This is a fully unmanned Ryokan meaning it self check in and self checkout ! The rooms are very small (4 meter square) which barely fits a bed. Pictures on the travel sites about the rooms in this hotel are deceiving ! The location is sort of OK from Kinomiya station but it's quite far from Atami city center and Atami sun beach . We took at taxi which was 1200 yen. Kinomiya Jinja is 25 minutes by foot.

It was really a great stay experience. I was Chinese and followed the tour group to Atami, Japan, but the Atami Railway Hotel booked by the travel agency is surrounded by a cemetery and the room is not good. I came to your hotel alone. I learned through google map that your hotel's reputation is the best nearby, and found it when checking-in. Thank you very much for the boys and girls who helped me check in on January 19, unfortunately I can't know your name, you make me feel the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of the Japanese. Arrived. I went abroad for the first time and came to Japan for the first time. I can't speak Japanese. I completed the smooth check-in with a little simple English and your reception staff. Thank you again, especially this boy patiently answered my questions again and again. The hotel is beautiful and the hygiene is great. I miss it very much when I return home. I hope that next time I can take my family to your store and experience the authentic life in the hot sea. I stayed for a day in Atami to watch the firework in the evening on 20th Apr. This hotel is very close to shopping district/street and train station with around 5 mins walk so relatively convenient. The room itself is very basic so pls don't expect much. The hotel offers free toast and coffee for breakfast and as many of the comments here mentioned you can watch the fireworks at the rooftop. Recommended for business travel or if you are on a budget. If you want to experience onsen or better service then I'd suggest you try other hotels in Atami

The fish dishes are wonderful The hot springs are private and always have perfect temperature control This is my 10th domestic trip this year, but this is my 3rd time I have a Buddhist tattoo on my upper arm, so it's troublesome to wear a supporter in the hotel's public bath. , This is a private bath including the family bath in the hotel, so you don't have to worry about it. Booked for 2 nights in December.

The hotel is Japanese-style. The main selling point is the hot spring. There is a hot spring mouth inside. The eggs are boiled there, but unlike the hot spring hotels in Lake Toya and Shodoshima, there is a bathtub in the room. The bathing needs to be on the 3-4th floor. This family feels uncomfortable with the hot spring pool. Fortunately, there was no one when I went to the hot spring pool, but the water in the hot spring pool was too hot. Only one of them could bear it. Basically enough to eat, from JR Atami Station to the hotel located on the hillside is fairly convenient. The hotel mainly caters to Japanese people, but there are no Chinese. You can go downhill along the stream to the beach, and follow the trail uphill for more than ten minutes. It is at Raimiya Shrine and JR Raimiya Station. Because I booked it earlier, the price of a two-person twin room at 1,017 yuan (excluding 150 yen * 2 people) on Thursday night is a bit expensive.

The dishes were good. Because it was a chair life, it was painful for me to stretch my legs in the Japanese room.

A long-established hot spring inn on a small hillside, a little far from the center of Atami. There are convenience stores and supermarkets in the neighborhood, but there are not many restaurants. Staying during consecutive holidays, one room for 3 people and a special room with half board for one night are about 50,000 yen per person. I chose a higher-ranked room, so I was able to spend a very spacious and relaxing time. The building is not new, but it has been renovated here and there, and the cleaning is well done and it was very comfortable. The main room is a Japanese room of about 13 tatami mats, a Japanese room of about 6 tatami mats, and a refrigerator, chair and table in the carpet space of about 6-8 tatami mats. From the room, you can see a large garden, a river, and a surrounding mountain 々. Depending on the orientation of the room, some rooms overlook Suruga Bay. In the guest room, there is a bathroom with a large bathtub that flows directly from the source, and a large 々 wash basin space. The bathtub has a texture and scent of cypress, and you can enjoy plenty of hot springs slowly. The windows are large and open. It was good to have a room meal in the morning and dinner, but it was very painful for the old couple to put a cushion on the tatami mats and eat. I would be grateful if you could prepare a table and chair only at meals. Also, I had breakfast at 8:30, but I couldn't sleep very slowly in the morning because I was woken up quite early and started preparing. There is an open large communal bath on the top floor overlooking Suruga Bay. The correspondence of the staff, including Mr. Nakai, the room clerk, was very good. It was never cheap, but it was a satisfying inn where I was able to get the appropriate hospitality and good experience.
