Courtyard Hotels in Anji

The hotel advertises with their golf resort facilities. But as a cuatomer of the hotel the hotel has nothing to do with this golf park. We booked the hotel because of the large green area around the hotel where we wanted to have a walk. Instead we were sent to the main road by security guard. The main road for walk sorry. Further more the western restaurant was closed. Make that information available. The other restaurant was not very good. Im a professional traveler over Europe Africa Middle East and all over Asia

Overpriced family hotel with outstanding views but room for improvement. I reserved the room a week before arrival, which meant the room rate was almost 2000 RMB a night. At this price, I was expecting excellence and arrived to mediocrity. I travelled with a Chinese friend and when we arrived, although the room was booked in my name, they chose to speak to my companion. When I tried to speak, the staff smiled condescendingly and then continued to talk to my friend. I was surprised to receive xenophobic behaviour in modern China, especially since I can converse in Chinese and there are many translation and AI chatbots to assist with communication. We walked to the room and on inspection we discovered the door hinge was broken, dust and hair on the floor, hair on the mattress which was accompanied by a yellow stain (photos 3-7). As the staff couldn't communicate in English, I messaged Trip.com and decide to resolve the issues the following day. The staff had been informed of the poor quality of the check-in and the cleanliness of the room and offered to upgrade us to their sister hotel, Banshanyinzhu Resort. The view from the room (photo 1 & 2) was stunning and the room looked pristine how on inspection the room had not been deep cleaned since either its construction or refurbishment with dust in the high shelves, on the shower head, sawdust behind the bedhead, leftover building materials under both sinks (photo 8-11). We informed the hotel, as we had been given a WeChat, and they came to witness the simple inspection. They offered to move us again but as this was our last night and we chose to stay based upon the views and then went to dinner which the hotel offered as part of compensation for the previous night. Arriving at the restaurant, uncleanness was concurrent theme (photos 12-14) with the dishes not being clean and the lazy suzanne not being wiped down. Fortunately the completely meal for two was well portioned and seasoned (photos 15-18). After a filling and tasty meal, I had a shower and felt a slight pain on my foot to discover that the nails attaching the carpet protruded through and some flooring was broken causing a minor scratch. All of this could have been avoided had the staff been more diligent. Did I overpay? Yes Was the service mediocre? Yes Are these challenges easy to overcome? Yes Have other customers made similar complaints? Yes Will the hotel improve? I hope so Is the location memorable andbeautiful? Yes Would I revisit? Yes Regardless of the fact they have some untrained and unprofessional employees and they need to improve their cleaning standard and ensure that maintenance does a proper inspection after a fit and finish, the location is great and it's very easy to get into the park. It's very family orientated and I'm sure children could make lifelong friends here. If you're considering going, I'd highly recommend price watching. It's not a perfect product so don't overpay, like I did, and expect a 5☆ experience.

The ecology of Meilin is very good, and it feels very comfortable to live here. Facilities: Complete. You can soak in hot springs ♨️ skiing (but it is not the snow season yet, but you can climb mountains). There is even a children's playground, which is also very considerate of families with children. Service: The staff are warm and considerate. When staying in the hotel in autumn and winter, they will call to inquire about the approximate arrival time and arrange room heating in advance. Good reviews 🥰 If you lack any daily supplies, you can also ask the staff for help. I like the staff here very much. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. The room aunt cleaned the room very clean, and the problems reported to the staff can be solved in time. Environment: Haha! Need I say more! What I like most is the environment here. It should be a non-smoking hotel with a special smoking area, green water and green mountains outdoors, and outdoor development and bonfire parties. Who understands, the ecology here is really good, the running water is clear, the trees are lush, the small fish fry are strolling in the stream, and occasionally they are taken away by foraging birds. There are circling birds in the sky, and occasionally they land on the plank road.

Location at the end of a tea hill valley within nature is very beautiful . Service and food are very good and staff is lovely, also with the kids. It can be the perfect getaway for some night/long weekend. BUT ! Currently (beginning of October 2023) there is a lot of ongoing construction in the hotel area. In total three construction sites with heavy impact on view, piece and quiet of the countryside hotel. Especially the rooms/villas located on the hill are impacted. Hotel staff was lovely to find a solution and alternative room. Rooms in the main building are less/not impacted from noise, but didn’t fit perfectly our needs as family of four and they are lacking the Mountain view (construction view). Looks like construction will last for a while… Hotel management should be transparent and inform in advance about the ongoing construction. After construction is finished it can be paradise again…

We grabbed the tail end of summer vacation and picked a weekday to bring our kids for vacation. Our family booked 2 different rooms, Half Mountain Hot Spring and Cliff Residence. In fact, they are the difference between the bottom of the mountain and the top of the mountain. The rooms are very large and clean. The minibar in the room is free, with potato chips, cola, Wang Laoji and beer. The set meal comes with a mountaintop coffee voucher, which is very affordable. 2 coupons are 60 yuan. We ordered French fries, popcorn chicken, coffee, etc. In the end, we only had to pay more than 40 yuan. Moreover, the French fries and popcorn chicken are freshly fried, extremely delicious, and the portion is also very large. There are also performances by Filipino singers in the cafe, which is quite cozy. The whole resort is really good, with good scenery and good service. There are shuttle buses to go everywhere, and they are available 24 hours a day, on call. Every clerk greets you warmly and politely when they see you. The hotel has a children's playground, KTV, playing cards, billiards, game consoles, and many entertainment activities. You won't be bored at all. You can also go to the open-air hot spring to bathe in the evening. In summer, you can swim in the mountaintop swimming pool. It is really conscientious. Buying a swimming cap is only 20 yuan, and you don't have to go out for a 2-day vacation. I had a great time at the hotel. I really liked it and will come again next time.

This trip felt very good. The first impression of staying in the hotel was very unique. The children especially liked it very much. It was like living in a cave. The disadvantage was that the light was not enough. Maybe it was to create a cave atmosphere. The children were happy in the room. Our butler is Zhang Shanhui. Whenever we call him for anything, he will rush over immediately. From the parking lot to the hotel to the tourist attractions, there are many service staff and you can see them everywhere. Those of us staying at Starry Sky can enjoy full VIP treatment without queuing. Overall, this skiing trip was full of memories and a deep impression. I will definitely come again if I have the opportunity, and will recommend Star Hotel to my friends.

I was looking for a homestay where I can climb mountains and soak in hot springs. I searched online for a long time. I found this one. I read the reviews with mixed reviews. I was actually apprehensive before checking in. However, the truth is that there are always surprises. The B&B occupies a large area nearby. The entrance is a spacious courtyard, and the interior decoration is quite artistic. It used to be a root carving art gallery, which was later transferred to the locals as a B&B. The owner has another business, and the homestay is just a sideline. But the decoration materials are all branded products, the room layout is spacious and reasonable, TOTO bathroom, smart toilet, and chandeliers are also very design. In particular, the store turned on the floor heating + air conditioner in advance to make the check-in experience more warm. There are mahjong rooms, calligraphy experience, trampoline, swimming pool and hot spring outside. The hot spring is surrounded by glass on three sides, heated by mountain spring water, surrounded by stones, and built with a pergola, there is still a sense of a**osphere. But when we went, the temperature was too low and the water temperature was not hot enough, so we didn't go down to experience it. The hotel has a lot of room types to choose from. The room facing the back mountain has a particularly beautiful view. The room facing the street is soundproofed with soundproof glass, so that I, a poor sleeper, can sleep peacefully. If you want to talk about the shortcomings of this restaurant, the breakfast is too simple, almost the same every day, with 7-8 varieties, but you can still eat enough without demanding. There is a fixed menu for dinner, which needs to be booked in advance. The food is delicious and the price is slightly higher. There is a rafting spot near the homestay. It is said that it is very popular in summer, and there is also a route to climb Dragon King Mountain. Equipment is needed to go up the mountain in this season. If you want to take a walk, there is also a mountain road behind the homestay. Climbing in the morning, you can enjoy a mountain forest to yourself, the sunlight penetrates the swaying green bamboos, the ice hanging from the rocks on one side of the mountain road, and the jumping spring water on the other side, the scenery is pleasant. In short, we have experienced the dynamic ink landscape in rainy days, the blue sky, white clouds and green bamboo in sunny days, and the flying snowflakes and icicles in snowy days. Although the price is higher during the Spring Festival, it is definitely worth it!

It happened to snow, and the online taxi driver's car was not anti-slip, so I contacted the hotel and the hotel sent a car to pick us up. The front desk can make an appointment for the hot spring time to ensure that the guests who travel with you can enjoy the hot spring alone. The hotel also has a helicopter, but it cannot be used in winter. When the spring comes, the hotel can provide free pick-up and drop-off. As the New Year is approaching, the hotel also set off fireworks. The hotel's afternoon tea is also great.
