We had booked as a fall-back since our initially booked hotel The Walnut Tree refused to accommodate our dates and did not refund our money either. But we were pleasantly surprised with the standards and we got full value of money. Recommended surely.

Stay was good. The hotel room had an amazing view of the valley. The staff were really good and helpful. Dinner was amazing and well served. The only drawback was that the power supply was frequently interrupted but the hotel did its best to provide backup.

Amazing place in a serene place like pahalgam. Great hospitality by u mar bhai. It just felt like home. I was with my family and all the necessary amenities and facilities were there. I would really recommend it for everyone as they cater your needs so brilliantly

Hotel grand gaffar in pahalgam is located at pollution free area, so you can see river view directly from our hotel, right in the lap of nature facing snowcapped mountains all around and surrounded by full of greenry trees. Property is bang at the main market. This is an advantage. The view from the hotel is awesome. All the staff are courteous and pamper you. This is core for any hospitality industry. The rooms are nice and have a great view. Different categories. I got an upgrade and it was simply great. Food was nice. I opted for breakfast and dinner. When it is cold, it is good to eat dinner in the restaurant. There is a high tea in the evening ***** with snacks and kashmir special. The ambience of the hi tea lounge is simply awesome. Overall a great experience and i strongly recommend this hotel. No hotel is perfect and you may have some teething issues. The key is that they are resolved. This hotel at one time was frequently visited by the bollywood biggies. It is an old hotel and some may find it different.
