Mercure Amsterdam North Station Reviews

It was my second stay in this trip. The reason of coming back was because of its accessible location and the quality of serving. I was upgraded to a privileged room this time, but it had no sunsrise view like last time.

Really close to the station and in a safe neighbourhood. We arrived with a delayed baggage but managed to find shops nearby (specifically a H&M) to get some clothes before our luggage arrived the following day. There is a food court that has a lovely variety of food options, as well as two convenient stores located at the station for water/snacks. Family room was very spacious for two adults and two children. We didn’t take the hotel breakfast but there were no issues finding food anywhere. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will definitely be back!

Good location with metro nearby only, few minutes away, thus very convenient to travel around.

Best hotel experience. Convenient location, 30 mins from airport by train, and 10 mins from the city centre. Nice and polite staff. New, clean and spacious room. Super comfy beds and pillows. Perfect working environment for digital nomads. Strong and stable WiFi. Convenient store and food court nearby. Perfect.

The three people room is quite clean and spacious! I would definitely stay here again! Easy travel to other places.

Actually, I will talk about the negatives before the positives; When we arrived, I was shocked by the poor service there. First, they did not have cash when I arrived at the hotel with a taxi driver and I did not have the fare (change), so I had to spend fifty euros, but I was surprised that they did not have any exchange cash at hotel . Second, they did not have an assistant to carry the bags, so the bags were many and large, and I could not carry them alone, while I am a female and I cannot carry them. Third, they wanted us to stay on the third floor overlooking another building, but we refused because we wanted a higher floor. Their excuse was that the hotel was fully booked by residents and there were no rooms on the seventh or sixth floor. Also the cover sheet of bed had not changed since we had arrived. (Also there is something important to mention at last day we could not find a bolt or uber because maybe the location was a little bit far). But we had to speak to the hotel manager, who fixed all problems, he is a young East Asian man. Honestly, he was a good and understanding person, and he spoke politely. He apologized and upgraded us and helped us carry the bags. He deserves thanks and respect and apprecite

Very convenient location as it’s right next to the station. The 4 person room with the queen bed and 2 single bed is spacious.

Modern hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. The location is highly convenient as well. Highly recommended!

Upon check-in, we were invited to become members. After registering, we were pleasantly surprised with early check-in and a welcome drink, which was a nice gesture and added to the overall experience.

This hotel is near the metro station and 6 minutes to AmsterdamCentral, so you can go anywhere in Amsterdam and the airport.

It is very close to the Noord metro station and opposite the hotel has a supermarket, very convenient. However, there is no room service (no phone in room) Plus point is hotel provides complimentary bottled water 👍🏻

Excellent place. It is less than 1 minute walk from noord station, making it extremely convenient and accessible especially with luggages.

Perfect location, only two metro stops from Amesterdam Centraal. The room is very lovely, clean and comfortable. Will definitely come and stay again in the future.

Clean and spacious room, location is great only a few steps away from the North Station. Great value I would definitely stay again.
