DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam – Ndsm Wharf Reviews

Stayed here for one night for my boyfriend’s birthday. Check-in went smoothly. Location wise, it’s very convenient. Room however, was quite small. The left elevator also seemed to need a repair as the door opened & closed extremely difficult and slowly. Still made the best out of it & decorated the room!

Pros : our room had a View to die for, facing the river, the room was beautiful and clean, comfy bed and pillows that were so comfy. Love the cracking open fire in the bar too, nice to unwind with a glass in front of the fire after a busy day exploring. The hotel is very easy to get to central station via the free ferry that leaves every 10 mins. Would definitely stay here again for Amsterdam exploring. Cons: could do with more tea and coffee (and milk) for the drinks tray. Some soft background music in the hotel and hotel bar would add to the ambience.

We had a one night stay at the Doubletree in NDSM.  Excellent location as it’s near Straat Museum and a short free ferry ride to town and the Central station.  All the staff were wonderful and provided us with delicious hot cookies to munch on.  Room was super clean with a great view of the water!

A wonderful hotel in everyway The room was stunning with amazing views and decor.The bed was very comfortable and decor original and the barhroom was so spacious, the biggest shower area with excellent power shower. Great details such a reading lights by each bed side and coffee machine with decaf option too anf you get free choc chip warm cookies from reception. The ferry over to the hotel from the centraal station is free to use and you get lovely views and only takes 10 min. Would highly ecommend! 👍👍👍👍👍

The hotel location was the best for me. The staff one of them was excellent and the other one was okay.

All the staff was super nice and welcoming. The hotel can be reached by ferry from Amsterdam Centraal (the ferry ride is free and very frequent).

Great hotel in a great up and coming location just out of central Amsterdam. Great links into the city with the free ferry directly outside the hotel taking you straight over to Amsterdam central station. Views from the rooms are fantastic.

Great getaway, you need to take a ferry to get there but that was also easy and nice 😁 room was very cozy!

Room is very small and not enough space of you have big luggage. Bathroom floor tiles are very cold and should have to prob slipper. Lights are not bright enough, cleaner didn’t change bedsheet and found crumbs on the sheet. Ceiling looks scary and look like sleeping under the bridge. Too noisy and can hear everything. One receptionist is rude and not friendly. Car park is far from hotel and not easily accessible when you have heavy luggage. It’s not Hilton standard.
