Almaty Hotels with Pools

The location, environment, and lobby are all very beautiful. The only and biggest drawback is the bed The bed was too old. It sank completely and was tilted to one side. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on. I asked the hotel to change rooms for the second night, and the front desk said that every room is the same🤷🏼♀️

The room was quite clean and looked nice from the outside, but many facilities needed a major overhaul. The wash basin in the room didn't leak, and the password box was broken and couldn't be used. When I went swimming, I saw two workers repairing something in a room next to the swimming pool. I guess the whole hotel needs a major overhaul.

The room was not cleaned; no drinking water was provided (drinking water for the next day). I have stayed in this hotel many times, and this time it feels much worse than before.

The room is surprisingly big, and the 1.8m big bed looks small in the room. It's too far to watch TV when lying on the bed 😂 It also has a small balcony. The interior decoration of the hotel is also very grand. The only thing is that it is a little old and the location is a little far, but everything else is good

Very small room actually.Looks definitely less then 25 m2 And the real size of the QUEEN BED IS LESS THEN 1.8m and it was 1.5.The bad was uncomfortable and the linen was not soft. Every day we need to ask 1 more overall for bathroom cuz everyday we has only one in my room.And the same story with teeth brush.The room was booked for 2 by the way. Staff is actually good and pleasant! The main disadvantage is SMALL BED and small room-very tine for two people (we are about 170 cm tall). The breakfast is nice. Actually this hotel is overpriced for that kind of room provided

Our stay at Ritz-Carlton Almaty was exceptional, in fact our fav part of the city as tourists. The best part was the warm service from the staff, in particular thanks to Yekaterina (Kate), Malika, and concierge lady. Kate was welcoming and informative upon check in. Guest service staff Malika gave us attentive care throughout our stay and accommodated our preferences, which truly enhanced our experience in the country. Concierge lady gave us comprehensive advice on where to visit. The view from both our room and the Sky Lounge was unparalleled. Snow-capped mountains framed the landscape, offering a mesmerizing backdrop that undoubtedly ranks among the best in Almaty. Will definitely come back here if we’re back in the city.

Foreigners staying in Kazakhstan for more than five days need to register with the local immigration office, but the hotel does not help with the registration. It can only find visa personnel to handle it, which is a bit inconvenient.

Location is a little way out of hustle and bustle of main city. Room was clean with nice balcony. Shame no bath :(

This is a very old hotel. I guess it was built by the former Soviet Union. The service is good, but it's a bit old and smelly. The bed is too soft. I don't feel comfortable staying in such a hotel for one thousand yuan. However, a decent hotel in Almaty costs more than two thousand. I decisively changed to a public apartment, which costs more than four hundred yuan a night and cooks my own meals.
