Abuta District Hotels with Gym

Checked in at 3.30 and left at 4.3! Accompanying my son to ski in Niseko. After looking around, I specially chose this ski-in-ski-out hotel. I can't ski, and I think I will stay in the hotel for a long time, so I specially chose a suite with a bathtub to soak in and a sofa to lie on, just like a vacation to relax! My son can also rest better after a day of skiing! It turns out that I did not make a wrong choice. The front desk can communicate in Chinese, which is great. If you have any requirements, just ask! The room facilities are complete. It's no problem to cook anything you want, and it's very convenient to wash and dry! The refrigerator is very large. I bought some food as soon as I arrived and put it in it, anytime, anywhere! You can also go to the nearby town of Kutchan, there is a large supermarket, buy some steaks and so on, come back and cook it yourself, and the hotel can book a pick-up! The view of the room I booked is also good. Facing the ski resort, I can lie on the sofa and watch others skiing. Who made me a bad cook haha! The cable car here is closed for maintenance on 4.1, in order to welcome the arrival of the next peak season! Fireworks were specially set off on the evening of 3.31. My son and I lay on the sofa and enjoyed a fireworks feast! Breakfast was OK, simple but quiet, not crowded! On the day of departure on April 3, in order to let my son continue skiing for a full day, we booked a chartered car back to Sapporo at 4:30. Considering that the check-out time was 12 o'clock, it was a bit early for me. I discussed with the front desk and delayed it to 2 o'clock. Thank you very much. After checking out. I sat in the lobby coffee shop, drinking coffee and watching TV series, and time flew by! . The location is also good, very close to the Asahikawa Ramen Restaurant, and there are many places to eat nearby. There is a *****tore that is actually a convenience store, which is very convenient for replenishing goods! Going up a little is the center, and the shuttle bus is very convenient to go to any ski resort! There is a ski equipment store not far away, and it is not far to rent a board! It is convenient overall!

We went during winter as it is the best season to visit Niseko but what makes our trip exceptionally memorable is this hotel that we can call our 'home' during our 5-night stay in December 2023. The room is exceptionally comfortable and clean but what stands out is the superb hospitality and service from the hotel's team. From the moment we checked in, the Front Office team was very welcoming (shout out to Kiel, Ryoka and the whole team) including the amiable and helpful hotel manager, Ms. Yolande (who took her time to welcome us and have a brief chat). Yolande even made sure to greet the guests every morning as we all walked to the restaurant for breakfast. It is the little things like this that make the difference. And thank you for all the tips and advice which was very very helpful.. During our stay, we were very comfortable and enjoyed the whole winter at Niseko's experience, especially returning to our cosy hotel and room after a long day exploring the small town. Thanks to the housekeeping team who always kept the room in the best condition (I think they make up the room a minimum of two times a day) - I didn't manage to get your names but your work is highly appreciated. On top of that, we always look forward to going for breakfast every morning as the menu prepared is of excellent quality - serving the best produce from Hokkaido like snow king crab. The team at the restaurant deserves much praise. Shoutout to the team (Goong, Korn, Ploy, Nut, Riko and Kristina). Thank you for your warm hospitality and the little conversations we had. I have lots of fond memories during my stay here and I look forward to coming back again real soon and seeing the familiar faces I've met on this trip.

This is in a quiet forest about 10 minutes drive from Niseko Station. I think the basic part of the hotel is old, but it has been renewed in a modern style. When you enter the hotel, is it a forest? Check-in was normal due to the scent of. I stayed in a deluxe Japanese-Western style room, but the room was large and spacious, and I slept well on tatami mats. The water of Mt. yotei was delicious. You can walk in a yukata in the hall, and go to the dinner venue Supper was a half buffet, and the contents were sashimi, ceramic plate dishes, meat or fish grilled dishes, and others were buffets. All were usually delicious and there were many types of buffets. At the entrance of the hotel, I enjoyed live performances by piano and violin for about 1 hour and 20 minutes at 19:30 ～. The hot springs smell a little sulfur and usually have an indoor bath, an open-air bath, a sauna, and a cold bath (men and women change at 22:00 at night). Also, the breakfast buffet has a lot of Japanese and Western side dishes and is full. did. Overall, it was a quiet, relaxing, delicious, and comfortable hotel with live performances.

I want to give top marks for customer recovery for Chalet Ivy. I booked five nights there for a Feb ski trip in october 2022. It was confirmed by Agoda, the booking agglomeration site. But 3 weeks before the trip, they claimed they couldn’t find the booking and had to cancel the booking. The fault seemed to lay with their 3rd party wholesaler for rooms. With sky high costs and low availability at this stage, I freaked out. But Vladi the reservations officer from Chalet Ivy manager managed to re-book me in albeit at a slightly higher price- offset by the compensation I received from Agoda. We even had an upgrade to a Mt Yotei view room. Great save. Also a shoutout to front reception staff like Rou Hong who was so helpful. All in a great experience staying at the Chalet Ivy

The view on Lake Toya from the hotel was spectacular. We were lucky to have witnessed the cloud sea and sunrise. From the other angle, we could see the full view of Mt Yotei, also known as Hokkaido Fuji. There are few restaurants in the hotel, including the Japanese, Chinese, French, and the Italian. There was also good onsen in the hotel, both idoor and outdoor. We will definitely come back to stay again in the future.

This was my third stay at The Maples, and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. This time I came with just my boyfriend instead of with family, so handled most of the logistics myself. I really relied on help from the staff and The Maples, before, during and after my trip! Even a month before my trip, I got a lot of help with transportations, ski passes etc through emailing with the staff, who were always so prompt to reply and very friendly. During my stay, they also helped me a lot with dinner reservations etc. Every request or question I had was met with a friendly smile. Of course, I enjoyed the location again immensely. It was great to be able to walk to many of the stores and restaurants, and to also ski in and out. This time I also rented a car and parking at the Maples was always available and easy. The hotel was always bright and clean. My onlyyyy complaint if I had to mention was that my room did not have black out curtains... so I was woken up pretty early every morning by the natural sunlight!! But, this actually helped me to get up there on the slopes bright and early, so a perk after all!

Even if the decoration is very modern, most of them are Europeans and Americans, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the appliances are complete. The kitchen appliances are all miele, please. There is a place for renting skis and clothing in the lobby of the hotel. You can go to the Hirafu Ski Resort directly by renting the elevator. A full set of equipment costs about 15,000 yen a day, according to Xiaohongshu, it is cheaper than snow. Most of the waiters are European and American, English is very good. The hotel has cars to Kutchan JR Station and lucky supermarket. It is very convenient for the family to cook. like

I had reservations for 2 rooms for a group of five for 3D2N on the 3rd week of December 2022. While the property is well kept and ground were impeccable, the check-in process is the worst experience I ever had in all my stays with the Marriott group of hotels since the 90s. It took an hour & 15 min to check-in, all because of some cultural pride of not finding the right people to do the job right from onset: at the drop off at the bellhop to billing at the frontdesk. The bellhop was a tall young Japanese lady who could not speak English at all. I was attempting to walk to the frontdesk as there were 2 coaches off loading guests simultaneously & I did not want to be caught with this large group of ten or more tourists. She refused not once but thrice with her out stretched arms to stop us from proceeding to the frontdesk with our luggage. Apparently, on highsight, she thought we were part of the other group & wanted to contain and corral our luggages. I gave up 😖 & regretfully let her & her co-workers take our 7 pieces of luggage. At the check-in, a young male bellhop assigned us to a senior looking male frontdesk staff who could not speak or understand English very well. It took him a while to get the paperwork done & when presenting the bill to be paid up full, it did not match the reservation booking which was a significant amount. It dragged on for another 20 min going back & forth with him. Using google translator helped a bit but again he could not reconcile the booking … I had to demand for our check-in to be handled by someone who could speak English but he refused & continue trying to communicate to me in his poor English. I had to raise my voice for help; kept asking him to let another senior member to assist us. Which caught some attention eventually. Fortunately, a young French lady who speaks Japanese & English, ironically was assigned to Japanese guests 🙄 came to our rescue. By this time, 45 min has elapsed, my family by then discovered our luggage has gone missing ! The silly bellhop tall Japanese lady who cannot speak English had grouped our bags with the larger group. She wanted to do her job well BUT did not understand there we were not part of the other group 😡 So silly way to run a simple hotel operation. Any attempts to ask any on the non-speaking Japanese staff to get an English speaking failed. It had to do with some silly cultural pride of not being competent to do their job that created this stubbornness and refusal to get an English speaking staff. Why 2-star rating instead of 1-star only because the English speaking French lady staff helped me to bring the billing attention to the duty manager who apologized for the delay & he resolved the billing issue eventually. Take note, I just stayed at The Westin Las Vegas a month ago in November & it took less than 5 min to check-in. What a stark contrast between this Westin Rusutsu & Westin Las Vegas. This hotel delivers more than expected! Usually the websites over promise and under deliver however this was the other way around! As others have mentioned rooms are quite small but completely adequate, the only thing we could suggest would be to offer coffee & tea in the room (there is a kettle & fridge). Bathroom has toileteries which are decent quality. Room was warm and thus ski clothes were dried well. There is good storage for ski equipment and a lovely small gym with good quality kit (open 24/7) All staff were very friendly and knowledgable about the area giving good instructions and suggestions for places to eat. There is a shuttle service to the town but it is also a pleasant walk (without ski gear!) The small convenience store on site is ok but a little expensive (although this is independant of the hotel) Breakfast is plentiful, everything fresh and inviting to eat - there is an egg station where you can get eggs any which way. The diner us surprisingly good - a small menu but made to order and like breafast very fresh. The bar does happy hour and some lovely cocktails :) There is a ”common room” whereby you can cook for yourself - this would be good if travelling in a group. Overall a great mid priced (low for the area!) hotel

My family and I stayed at Setsu for 8 nights in January 2024. We shared a one bedroom suite which worked perfectly for a family of four. The amenities in the room were excellent, having a washer and dryer in the room was very helpful. The room alone gets five stars. The location of the hotel is ok. It was handy having Lawsons across the road and food trucks and restaurants nearby (though sidewalks were pretty icy and not great to walk on at night). The ramen restaurant in the hotel is great, the food is tasty and its relatively affordable. The hotel could do with another lower cost food option as there was normally a long queue to get in. We ate at Luke's in the hotel one night. The service was excellent. But it was way over-priced. Some fried fish, a side of chips and a burger cost about $A180. The burger was good and given the location I didn't mind paying $A50 for it, but the fish at $A95 was pretty ordinary (oily and very salty). The cheapest bottle of wine was $A200. Breakfast was ok but not great - some freshly cooked egg options would have been nice. The snow was great - but a couple of days the top slopes were closed due to wind. This meant the queues down the bottom were very long. The ski school was a good way to jump the queues - but worth being aware that only Go Snow gets this at grand hirafu - rhythm doesn't get to jump any queues, and NISS at Hanazano only. The shuttle bus to the slopes was ok. We never had to wait too long but it was a bit awkward having to take skis onboard the bus. There is also a walk up to the gondola from the bus stop - its pretty short normally, but can take 20 minutes if the gondola queue is long. By contrast the Park Hyatt has a quick ski down to the Hanazano lifts which looked like a much easier way to get going - though there isn't much around apart from the hotel. Overall it feels like the volume of people at Niseko has over-stretched the other infrastructure. So not sure if we'd go back.
