A great location right on the water front. The beds were comfy and the shower was great. Could do with a few extra milk/sugar etc but were given some more at reception when we asked
Duke William Hotel

2 night stay for youngest daughter's graduation. Hotel is ideally situated for the castle and cathedral where the graduation ceremony takes place. We had drinks and snacks one evening which was lovely. Lots of drinks to choose from in the bar. The hotel is lovely, very quirky and olde worldly. Room was spacious with plenty of storage, lovely en suite (drains gurgled in the morning but probably due to everyone in hotel showering at the same time!) There were 3 fans in the room (2 tower and 1 desk) which would be needed in height of summer but also large sash window that opens. Bed very comfy, tea and coffee facilities and a handmade cookie!! Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
North Shore Hotel

Free upgrade from a double room to a family room (consists of a separate double room, a single room and one toilet / shower) in a big room. Free onsite parking. Dinner deal was very great, 2 mains for £15, and big portions! Free welcoming hot drink was available too. The shower water is hot, yet the water pressure is weak (perhaps it is a ”water-saving” style?) Hot items of breakfast buffet was great, esp. the mushrooms were very big, with free refill filter coffee and tea. It'd be good if there are yogurt and more varieties of bread. Just 5 minutes drive to town centre / train station.
Woodcocks, Lincoln by Marston's Inns

Very nice hotel, the hotel is in the suburbs of Lincoln, but not very far from the city, the surrounding environment is great, the hotel is self-service, the sanitation is very good, there is a Bar next to it, very lively, suitable for experiencing English country life~
The White Hart Hotel Lincoln

Very comfortable hotel ideally located at the top of the historic steep hill and close to the cathedral. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner both to a high standard. En suite Bathroom great. Bed a little narrow for 2 in our room — ok for one night. Overall an excellent stay. If we came again and upgraded our room it would be absolutely perfect.
Holiday Inn Express Grimsby

Booked through a business account, staff at check wasn’t good. Talked over me when asking basic questions, didn’t tell me anything about the restaurant times or breakfast which was pre paid. Had to ask him to check the notes a few times before he listened, still wasn’t helpful after. Booked a double bed but got a room with to singles ( on a one person booking ) room was noisy as it had an a joining door so I could hear the tv in the other room all night.

Booked the princess suite for our first wedding anniversary was a perfect choice. The reception staff were amazing when checking in and as this was a surprise stay for my wife I had arranged for a bottle of champagne to be on ice ready in our suite, the cake and the happy anniversary card waiting for us in our suite was a the perfect little touch. The suit was perfect and nicely tucked away from busy corridors, super comfortable bed and was spotless throughout. We had decided to eat dinner in the city centre but spent an hour or two in the bar on our return, again the staff were very friendly and professional, breakfast was perfect serving proper Lincolnshire sausages (not the rubbish you’d find in the supermarket) the check out time of 11:00 was perfect, giving us the morning to relax after breakfast. The only downside and was in no way the fault of the hotel was the electrical work being carried out just outside. Overall we were extremely happy with the Lincoln hotel and all its staff.
Pelham Hotel

I was stuck in Immingham on a business trip so all of a sudden I needed a place to stay on a very short notice and very late at night. Available was the Pelham Hotel. I got there late, tired and hungry and in a bad mood. The hotel is not pretty, not fancy. It was loud like a bar with people drinking a room above all the noise… but what was missing in fancy pretty things I will sure say that the staff and certainly the owner made up for. So nice and friendly and helpful. Kitchen closed- don’t worry, I will make you a toast. Check out at 10 - my boat leaves at 19.. not a problem you just stay. Free internet was mot working, no problem you get out private one so you can work. So kind and so helpful. Full if love and happy local people.. it grew on me. I was touched! Great great people!!!
St James Hotel

A nice quick checkin and with a secure car park The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. I was impressed that tea, coffee, milk and a biscuit was left outside our door for our second night. We had dinner at the hotel for the first night. It was ok but portions were small. Breakfast the next morning was much better! And I thank the chef for serving fresh grilled tomatoes instead of tinned ones!! We chose this hotel as it was the closest to the city centre , it had a great view of the Minster and because it offered fantastic value for money. I would definitely recommend it!!
Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort
4.2/598 Reviews
We had an excellent and relaxing stay at Belton Woods Hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food especially the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. During our stay we used the pool and spa facilities which were all very clean, the pool was nice and warm and large enough for doing few lengths without getting in to anyone's way.
