After driving through chaotic Cairo, (Our driver was calm and collected), and still in a culture shock, we arrived at the Inn at 3 am. We were politely shown our room. The canteen was always open for coffee, tea and bottled water which we were grateful of in these early hours. The room was clean (including bathroom) and the bedding (cushions included) were fresh. Fridge, tv and water kettle. The breakfast buffet: an assortment of fruit, cheese, breads, eggs – boiled and scrambled, salad and traditional homemade sauces etc. etc. enough for a hearty European or Egyptian appetite. Coffee and tea all day long free of charge! The employees were informative, helpful, attentive and most of all so friendly - like being a visiting family member!! It was a most enjoyable stay that I can truly recommend: an authentic Egyptian warm-hearted experience!!! Thankyou!

We booked a suite here and couldn't have been a happier, waking up with a view of the pyramids every morning was amazing. We also had breakfast every morning in the restaurant on the top of the hotel which had an even better view of the pyramids. It was a great base of operations for the pyramids and all of Cairo. You have to weigh the pros and cons of a hotel in the Giza area vs Cairo... But I have ot say, the pros of waking up with an amazing view out weighed it all. Worth it.

The hotel is directly across from the complex of the Pyramids of Giza. They have a rooftop balcony from which you can see the pyramids in their entirety and watch the Light & Sound show for free. There are many shops in the area, but be careful when deciding where to shop. The guesthouse's kind owner gave me all the local information I needed. You've got enough food for breakfast to get you through the day. The private pyramid tour I scheduled through the hotel is wonderful, too, with the exception of the guide's deception that we would be seeing a papyrus museum, a cartouche maker, and a real lotus/papyrus scent. In the end, these ”STORES” (not museums) convinced me to buy items from them for an absurdly high price. I don't want to blame this to the hotel but I really suggest that if you booked a tour, never shop in Giza with your guides. But, if you want to be in front of the Pyramids, I highly recommend this hotel.

I actually travelled October of 2022, but the system wouldn’t let let select that. I travelled alone to Giza for a few days before joining a group in Luxor. This hotel was wonderful. I wanted a place near the pyramids and I even had a view of them from my bed! I contacted the hotel before my arrival to let them know that I have Celiac and would need gluten-free food. They assured me that they could accommodate me, and when I arrived they touched base with me to assure again. Breakfasts were included and they made sure I had lots to eat (while sitting on a terrace overlooking the pyramids 😍.) I booked a tour with them as well and had a great day, they alerted the restaurant that we went to for lunch about my gluten-free needs as well. For my private tour, they arranged a trip to the museum, a perfume place, a camel ride around the pyramids, visiting the pyramids and the great sphinx. It was fantastic! Just be forewarned, there is no elevator, but they will carry your bags. The rooms are modern, very clean, and have everything you need. I have recommended this hotel to several people already.

Have to say that the location of this hotel is super good. Just at the entrance and exit of the pyramid sphinx, the roof can be seen while eating breakfast and watching the pyramids. The breakfast is very rich. What's more, at night, you can watch the pyramid light show for free at the top of the building. Haha, it's amazing. The waiter was very good, and the things that packed me and put me on the bed were also packed up. The front desk (the boss) is enthusiastic and takes the initiative to introduce how to go. Free pick-up service is also good (but Ctrip's page does not prompt for free pick-up, I saw the free pick-up from the hotel's own official page), the driver did not have to tip. The delivery service is also very thoughtful. Overall, the price is very high

Booked on Ctrip, checkin the same day, the waiter didn't receive my order and asked me to resubmit $ 20 to rebook. Find Ctrip to deal with, Ctrip is very enthusiastic and has repeatedly confirmed that the communication with the booking agent is paid and no further payment is required. After communicating for one morning, I decided to refund the order and go to another hotel for reservation. As a result, when the waiter saw that I was going to die, he refused to pay an additional 20 dollars and immediately made a mistake at 180 degrees. Let me live right away. I'm drunk too. The people here have a deep routine. The instant impression is down. The only advantage of this hotel is that the sunset of the pyramid can take the horizon, and the rest of the facilities can not be complimented. Recommend this hotel for the second night (Pyramid Valley Boutique Hotel). The facilities are very good, and the waiter boss is enthusiastic. The boss's son also invited me to drink Coke at night, free of charge. Focus on helping him promote it. The most important thing when traveling is to be honest and not pit each other. Pictures are from pyramides valley. Hygiene is much better than this one. Bringing a girl is not recommended to stay in this hotel, take it to the bottom of the Golden Tower ...

This is a very basic hotel. PROS: Hot water, AC, and WiFi. Good location (proximity to the pyramids) and secure rooms. Rooftop was nice for breakfast. Quieter because it is off the main street. Staff were friendly. CONS: Dirty sheets and pillowcases still had previous guests hair on them. Shower sprayed a large amount of water onto the bathroom floor. Had to request toilet paper for the bathroom. Small, threadbare towels. If you decide to book with them, go through a professional booking company like TripAdvisor or *******. We did. But our parents booked a room directly through the Life Pyramids Inn website and were told upon arrival that “Our website does not send your confirmation to us, so we do not have a room for you.” (Their own official website!) My parents had to find last-minute alternate accommodations late at night. Breakfast was mediocre, though they were willing to provide a packaged one for our early tour upon request. This hotel is fine if you go in with the right expectations. Based on how the hotel represents itself, we expected better and were disappointed. There are a number of other inns facing the Sphinx, some with better views and nicer appointments.

SCAM ALERT!!!!!! These two brothers will scam you BIG TIME! No matter what it takes! Unscrupulous! Last October, I arrived at midnight caused by a one hour-flight delay and got harrassed right after being „welcomed“. While one of the brothers carried my luggage upstairs, I got told a hard to believe-story about a guy who wanted my room and that now I had to cancel my reservation on *********** to get the room. Cancellation would be free. Upstairs his brother joined the harrassment blaming me for being late. „You’ve told us you would check in at 11 pm and we had to send the other guest away!“ I was tired. My ears still blocked from an endless descent (Egyptair sucks no less!). Long story short: after endless harressment I cancelled my booking, paid cash in USD (best currency for them and best way for leaving no traces) and was allowed into the room. It was around 1 am. Two days later a young couple checked in and through my door on reception level I could hear the same trash: „Cancellation is freeee!“. Next morning they confirmed to me the same harrassment I had experienced! The owners do not mind destroying your holiday – all they care about is saving the service fee they would have to pay to Booking! My pics are proof that I did stay at this disgrace of a hotel! And they had the impertinence to report me as „no show“ to Booking. STAY AWAY and DO NOT TRUST ALL THOSE FAKE REVIEWS! ***************** this same review also got posted by me on Google *******************
The Khan Duidar is a true oasis amidst the vibrant energy of Giza. While the location may seem intimidating to the less adventurous, it offers an authentic experience in a typical Egyptian neighborhood, just a stone's throw from the Pyramids. As Americans, we were initially unprepared for the what felt like chaos on the street, but after four nights, we couldn’t have been more satisfied. The view is exactly as promised—breathtaking. It felt like we could almost reach out and touch the Pyramids from the shared balcony. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and each morning we enjoyed a delicious blend of European and Egyptian breakfast on the shared balcony, all while soaking in the incredible scenery. The rooms were impeccably clean and pristine, with modern amenities. The shower, complete with plenty of hot water and a bidet, was a refreshing way to rinse off the dust after a day of exploring Cairo like Indiana Jones. Though the bustling streets outside initially felt overwhelming, venturing out was a pleasant surprise. The nearby street food was both authentic and affordable, with delicious shawarma for two costing just four bucks. There’s even a local bakery just steps away. While there was some construction that made navigating the side alley entrance challenging, the Khan staff were always in the lobby, eager to assist. Their 24/7 availability was unmatched. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the option for daily room service. We would have gladly paid for it, had it been offered. Overall, the Khan Duidar was our peaceful retreat during our Giza adventure. Thank you, Khan Duidar, for making our stay unforgettable!
GGuest UserThe experience in the hotel has been amazing!! We received an incredible service from everyone but specially from Manna who has been a star in everything. He gave us an upgrade, we had amazing views on the first line just in front of the pyramids, with a balcony and the room was big and clean. We had problems with our tour booked with another agency and he resolved everything from his amazing agency and we enjoyed the day around the best places in Cairo historical areas. We received the best service and we will be forever grateful. We fully recommend this experience. The price of the room with breakfast included, the views and the tour were great. The quality of the tour has been superb. Somos españolas y estamos disfrutando infinito del viaje!!! Gracias!!
GGuest UserFantastic value. Pretty basic but clean and comfortable. The big plus here is the team running it. It’s a family and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Food and beer if you wish is brought in except breakfast which is done in house and is delicious but simple. The views are amazing, you’re yards from the pyramids gate, but some local construction has intruded just a bit. A previous review mentioned the state of the lane accessing the hotel. This has now been sorted and it’s now paved (the owners of a few local properties clubbed together to get it done) and very clean. I’d strongly recommend you book all your trips through the owner Mohammed. OK, you’ll probably pay a bit more but the guys he uses as guides and drivers are trusted friends or family and it’s in his interest to not organise a bad day out. Rambo in particular was great. Corruption and hassling tourists is big ticket stuff here, using trusted guys will ensure you don’t get ripped off when out and about. You’ll save money and grief in the long run! Overall, great value, lovely people, basic but safe, clean and I’d be back in a heartbeat. Thanks to all the team there for a wonderful experience.
Very friendly and helpful staff, AC in the room working well, rooms were clean. Offers a great breakfast with a beautiful view! And at a walkable distance to the pyramids. Loved that they offer cold water at the reception! Only 2 minor points: On the second floor in our room the wifi wasn't working. Adress on google maps is not clear, name of the hotel is called: 'the great pyramids view' for one or another reason with no recognisable pictures of the hotel itself what can lead to confusion when you're trying to find your way back. Overall a great experience for a very good price, would recommend!
GGuest UserThe hotel brother is very polite, helping to arrange the itinerary is also a lever. We arrived at the hotel at 1 o'clock and discussed the itinerary with him. It was not determined until 3 o'clock. We were very patient, very polite, very professional and very commendable! The hotel also has a pick-up service, two people 25 dollars, from the airport to the hotel, so, very powerful, the hotel room can see the pyramid, the scenery is very good, but the hotel environment is similar to the domestic hotel, to be mentally prepared, but people are very good, give people a very safe feeling
Hidden Gem…that is how I would describe the property as well as the workers of the 3 Pyramids View Inn. Is it fancy No, is it modern, No. If you are looking for plush and modern style accommodations then this may not be the right place for you, I had my reservations however, NEVER have I had such an attentive staff and manager/owner. Mohamed the owner was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The hotel does not have elevators but the young men were there to assist with taking our luggage up to our 3rd floor accommodations right below the terrace. Mustafah the assistant mgr. was there when we arrived and had our upstairs floor ready upon our 4 o’clock arrival. Each person in our party had their own room with private bathroom. Mohamed made sure we had a delectable breakfast every morning along with an awesome dinner! I Iiterally can not express how sweet and accommodating these people were. Mohamed made sure we were picked up from the airport on time in an a/c car with a very handsome and sweet driver; Abdullah. He works for the hotel and any excursions we had he was our driver. He was as careful as could be considering the crazy Cairo traffic. Abdullah was knowledgeable, safe and considerate. When we wanted to venture out into the surrounding neighborhood, he served as our own personal bodyguard. He gently wrapped my mother’s arm around his and led the way to hidden shops. In conclusion, the gem was not the hotel but the sweet workers; Mohamed, Abdullah, Mustafa and the little ones! The rooms were comfortable, clean and centrally cooled. The breakfasts and dinners were all great and handpicked by the manager; Mohamed. He even sat and talked with us as we ate on the terrace. His tour guide for the museum and the Pyramids; Husain was a professor of Egyptology and was an amazing guide. I would absolutely give up my 5 star luxury just to stay here again where they treated us like family.
GGuest UserEverything was great, the people and the service was amazing … I’d like to get breakfast for vegan people like me, other that that was clean, the staff very helpful and the location was right I front of the pyramids.
Ssunja618Very close to the Egyptian Museum and the go bus station, the hotel is located in the old town and the health is very general. There are many local restaurants near the hotel, which taste good and worth experiencing.
