We stayed in a 4 bed private room with en suite and it was great. The comfiest hostel bed I’ve slept in! The only downside is the area, the hostel is in the red light district of the city. The reception staff were lovely! Good vibes from the hostel and I would stay here again.

5/5 stars, and would definitely consider going to Prague again just for this great hostel. I stayed in the male dormitory which was fantastic. There were lamps, power outlets, storage facilities, 2 showers and 3 toilets. Both the rooms and the bathrooms were in perfect condition and very clean It is close to the city center and public transport, meaning that pretty much everything is nearby. And if you want help figuring out where to go, the reception will do that :) The hostel is on a side street, but only 20 meters or so from the nearest larger road, so the walk to the hostel shouldn't be too problematic for anyone. The hostel itself is good in terms of safety. The reception is nice and I believe there are cameras at the stairs. You can also lock the storage space in your rooms to keep your stuff safe. (You can borrow a locker at the reception) The location is perfect. It is pretty much in the city center, however it is down a smaller street meaning that there isn't too much noise at night from the larger streets. There is plenty of public transport nearby. You can rent a towel or buy breakfast for quite reasonable prices at the reception. This Hostel was so much better than I could have hoped for. The price was the cheapest I could find in Prague (and the cheapest I have seen anywhere), and yet the reception has great service and is open 24/7 and everything is perfect about the place. There is Wifi included. I would advise you to book directly on their website to save some money and hopefully support them more :)

I booked a room for 8 girls, but after staying for one night, I found out that there was a boy in the room!! I even changed clothes in the room without knowing it😭
I asked the hostel and they said they thought the man's name was a girl's so they made a mistake...
The room was very small, with four beds on each side and a table in the middle, so there was not much space left, which was not consistent with the picture at all. I booked this place because the room was big in the picture😕

This hostel is the hotel with the best atmosphere I have stayed in Europe these few days. The front desk is very friendly and everyone who comes in will greet me. The bathroom and toilet here are independent. They are not in the room. The facilities are great. There are plugs, small lights and curtains at the head of the bed. Even if a girl lives alone, it will not be awkward, because there is enough privacy.

The location is excellent, 3 minutes from the nearest subway station and 1 minute from the tram station. But there are more beggars downstairs, and girls need to be careful when traveling alone. About 800 meters away from the old town, there are many restaurants downstairs, and there are also big supermarkets such as billa and tesco. The hotel has different social activities every day, and you can meet new friends. The equipment is also very complete, with a large kitchen, a mailbox and a computer. There is a fan in the room and the equipment is simple.

The rooms are spacious and clean. They are equipped with two bathrooms. They are very convenient and there is no problem waiting for the toilets. There are restaurants and shops near the small square. You must have a good quality suitcase in Prague. The whole city is covered with stone roads.

The hostel is tidy and they clean the rooms every morning. The receptionists are also very helpful and friendly, you can ask them about anything and they're always ready to help.
About the location, it's not the best but also definitely not bad. It's easy to find the hostel and there's a tram stop just 5 minutes away from the hostel, where you can take a tram to the center and other parts of the city.
Although the pool and sauna were overall good, the pool is neither heated nor does it look as good as in the official pictures. In reality it's a bit cold and there are cracks on the walls which might look unwelcoming at first sight.
Finally, it's not a youth hostel. And in our opinion, it's not the place to be if you want to socialize.

The front desk is very enthusiastic, English is also very good, communication is barrier-free Asking for directions, asking for money, all kinds of questions are very patient. Then the hotel facilities are basically complete, there is a kitchen with a refrigerator. The public bath is separate for men and women. But you need to prepare your own toiletries, the hotel does not provide disposable items. To go to the old town, you need to do 3 subway stations.

Very Good
도도묭Pros: It was good not far from the subway station. Friendly staff.
Cons:
1. I opened the window because there was no air conditioner, but there was no net, so the bugs came in.
2. There is one towel in the room (using one per night for two people)
3. It smells unique to Westerners.
4. Toilet and shower used by all guests
5. No shampoo, rinse, body wash, etc.
GGuest UserThe transport links from the centre are ideal. There are several tram connections every few minutes to the city centre and all the sights. The hostel has 24-hour check-in with a living room atmosphere. There is a delicious coffee for little money. There is a courtyard garden where you can sit under the trees (and drink a beer in the sun, for example). Large cellar bar. The house is clean and has a sophisticated feel. My room with lots of windows had six single beds. Freshly made, it was a pleasure to sleep in. All in all, I felt very comfortable. The international staff were very friendly, service-oriented and always helpful. This 7th district in Prague is interesting. A former heavy industry district with factories and warehouses has been transformed into a great trendy district with lots of cafes, bistros, restaurants, all kinds of shops and boutiques. Ambience. I liked everything there.
GGuest UserThe room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. Location is great and has good connections via public transport. Inside the bathroom was a heater that you can use to dry your towels and clothes. Building itself is very pretty and the area is quiet. Upon checking-in we received a couple of vouchers for a free drink at the bar which was super nice. Although I am a foreigner and this was in my favour, it was a bit strange that the staff do not speak Czech. We saw multiple visitors coming to check-in and initiating the conversation in Czech but the Spanish-speaking staff (who were just to mention, very kind and friendly) spoke maybe three words of Czech and immediately encouraged any visitors to switch to English. Another thing which was a bit disappointing was the fact that after 22:00 the doors (both outside to enter hotel and interior to reach the room) were locked, apparently for ”security reasons” or so we heard. I mean, the key cards that we had to just touch and unlock the doors did not work - for anyone. I thought that was the main point of them, that door is locked, unless you're a guest. But even guests had to knock loudly on the door until someone from reception came over and opened. People kept walking in and out for drinks and sightseeing and staff had to keep running around to open/close the doors which was super weird. Our key cards were basically just to open our own room and not the hotel... Imagine you got a key which did not work for security reasons - does not make sense to me.
GGuest UserAn institute for the destitute The worst place around. I dont normally leave reviews but i felt this place to be an exception and felt i must provide people with a real insight. The first thing to mention is the poor facilities, the showers were ice cold with terrible water pressure that near enough dripped from the shower head, in addition to this the shower curtains provided were only long enough to cover half a cubicle! Boxed toilets filled with human waste, grot and other filth. The sleeping arrangements were dire to say the least. Incredibly creaky bunks and matresses that felt more like a crash mat than a bed. All that aside, the worst is yet to come! Upon returning to the hostel at around 11pm we were greated by an enraged barman who hurled abuse at us all in the street, verbal abuse to such a degree i had never encountered before. This was highly embarrasing and was the result of a simple queiry at the reception that morning to which the staff there were pleasant. We were pushed aside by the enraged barman who screamed ‘F*** You’ continuously as he stormed past! We then carried on and our stay became more unpleasent by the day. One awful night we attended the bar for a beer as the barman had apologised for his outburst of inexhaustable rage. Whilst enjoying a beer there were homeless and destitute people all around. One of which was sick right behind us and then proceeded to pass out! This was nothing unusual it seems as nobody reacted. Later we discovered that there was truth to this as the night after we went for a drink before bed and the same homeless man was there once again in the same seat and once again he threw up all over himself a second time. The barman, mentioned previously, simply walked right past this and didnt’ clean it up! I would recommend a tent in an alley before this hostel!

GGuest UserLocation is great, but a big confusing to get to. The large sign outside of the building doesn’t actually say the hostel name (A plus). It says something else. The woman that checked me in and out was friendly and welcoming.
I stayed in a “private” room but the toilets and showers were still shared, which was one of the purposes of me getting a private room…. This wasn’t made clear before booking.
The floors were not cleaned, and my room was not cleaned in the second day (I stayed two nights). The toilets and showers were ok, but should be cleaned. When I was there, they weren’t “dirty”, but didn’t look like they’d been cleaned in quite a while.
The common area was just a bunch of tables and chairs and there wasn’t much socializing going on. When I walked in, there’s was one guy who was taking a nap. That was it. There is a cool old-school elevator that works from the first floor, which is fun.
Not sure why my room was as expensive as it was considering I could have stayed in an actual hotel for relatively the same price. Overall this wasn’t a bad place to stay, but definitely not worth the price.
