Information flow poorly managed. I believe they weren’t even aware of my booking, I made the booking a week in advance though.
It’s self check-in service. Unfortunately I haven’t not received any check-in details in advance. They don’t have a reception desk based at the condo, so I made a few phone calls, but no one pick up. Luckily the condo information desk team was there to pass through my booking information to them. I have waited quite sometimes. Then I was assigned to a random room which had not been cleaned yet. So I complained and they moved me to another room immediately.
Overall it’s inconvenient with the check-in service. But the room and facilities are quite acceptable. Although the room looks new, one thing to improve is the cleanliness. Also, I don’t like the smell of the refresher stuff in the room.

GGuest UserThe service attitude was very good. They helped me with the precautions, car use, phone cards, etc., which saved me a lot of trouble. The room was in good sanitary conditions, and I could wash clothes. The mattress was especially comfortable and had good support, unlike other hotels, which were either too soft or too hard. I had a good and peaceful sleep. In addition, the hotel is close to the city, and it is very convenient to go to the airport. The entrance is very quiet and orderly. By the way, the beef noodles in the restaurant are good. I will try it again if I have the chance.

Ttaraki52going back to this city after 26 years is quite exciting so I chose a hotel near the city center. I booked City Centre Hotel via booking.com. I requested for airport pick up but no one picked me up even if I agreed with their taxi cost of 15 USD. I needed a taxi because I am going to an important meeting that same day. After my meeting, a friend dropped me off at the hotel and I found out that the hotel is located in a very busy street near bars and shops. Anyhow, I already booked. The reception told me to pay extra amount which I just paid because it is already around 8 pm and I needed to sleep. The room is very small with no exhaust and windows can not be opened. The pillow cases were stained and somewhat smelly. Breakfast is good and staff are friendly and helpful which made it better even if the hotel is not that great. After walking around the area, I found out that there are better options within that vicinity. So next time I will tray another hotel.

GGuest UserI lived in Phnom Penh for almost a year in 2021 and go back every six months or so. This is my second stay at Empire House and I mentioned to them that the interior and ambiance is much improved since June 2023. They said the new owner is constantly upgrading. I was pleasantly greeted when checking in and also noticed that there seemed to be more staff, in general, tending to things around the hotel during my stay. Security, comfort and the cleanliness of the room are all important to me. There was a guard at night and a hotel clerk downstairs 24/7. Staff was kind and attentive. My room was large, bright and clean. The bed was comfortable and I felt safe. I am impressed with the combination of quality and price - a little over $16/night. And this includes a/c and a TV. I gotta say, for a big city like Phnom Penh, this place is a great find. I’d have expected to pay more. Thank you for offering a nice hotel at a great rate. I enjoyed my stay and will choose Empire House again.

GGuest UserA good place to rest before or after your flight. About 10mn from Phnom Penh airport, they provide free pickup or drop off which makes it a lot easier. The place is clean and quiet (it's not so big, that's why), feeling relax, private and safe. Bob, (the Manager, I think) speaks very good English. I talked to him on his WhatsApp (+85577406060) prior to my arrival, makes things ”a lot” easier, He answered all the questions I asked. Feeling good!

Aalex-prozaiki am very glad,that i staing in this gesthouse.there are not so many places,where so kind and friendly owners and staff.Its very qwite,comfortable and good location gesthouse with shops,interesting plases and very easy to come to famous turistic plases such riverside and central market.
also,there are many store and shops with good and brend things.I recommend this gesthouse for everybody who want to spent relax and good times.and local people near are very friendly and will not look at like on crazy animal in the zoo.

GGuest UserI had to return to Phnom Penh after COVID recently and was at a loss as to where to stay due to the unfortunate closure of many businesses after the dreaded plague. To cut a long story short, I came across the Velkommen Guesthouse, which fitted the bill. It is on the Riverside and close to many local amenities. This establishment does what it says on the tin and is exceptionally comfortable with a spotless room with good air conditioning (in my room, some rooms have fans). This isn’t an expensive guest house, but the quality of service and assistance is 1st class. I arrived late one evening (possibly with too many beers), and the owner even helped me out by paying my TukTuk driver for me (I did repay him). Furthermore, the bar staff, like the owner, speak excellent English, and the drink prices are incredibly reasonable. Additionally, they have a full menu which I am advised is very good. Overall, I highly recommend this guest house as it is well-located and has a great staff. I will be back!

KKsenia This hotel has not been renovated for a long time. But the rooms are pretty clean. No slippers for the shower. There is air conditioning and a fan. Wi-fi We lived there for 2 weeks, during this time twice, one of the staff opened the door with a key, while we were sleeping, around 7 o’clock in the morning. It’s not good to disturb the guests
