Ssamanthab20192019Location is perfect In the main square after a 5 min walk from rail station (incoming from Milan). This lovely en-suite room is perfect for a few days. Yaiza our host was amazing, and so helpful with top tips on things to do, how to get there … even giving us the bus number and location as to where to get on, and of course restaurant recommendations. Only a small point, that the mattress was a bit soft for our liking and could have had extra pillows for bed. Would highly recommend:)

Booked the Rumi rooms because the location seemed perfect for our short stay at lake como, the room was lovely, staff friendly, there was a little coffee station just outside the room, there wasn’t any milk so we asked and they was happy to give us a Small jug to have for our cup of tea! There was croissants and toasted bread for the morning if you wanted. The rooms are just a few minutes walk to a lovely square where you can sit and have a drink, and a short walk to the ferry boat which we went on to visit bellagio! como is the most beautiful place and we can’t wait to visit and would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserExcellent location, in the center (it's a plus but also a penalty for the noise down the street until late at night, especially on weekends). But we must be honest, there is a lot to work on the structure ... Room sold as superior but the superiors are far from it. No TV in the room and this is serious for me if you sell a 'superior' for almost €100 a night. Bad soundproofing, you could also hear the snoring of the rooms next door ... Very inconvenient the fact that it is on a third floor without a lift and therefore only stairs, and at the end of the day it is really hard, impossible for families with prams or the handicapped. Poorly maintained entrance door on the street, it borders the service door of a restaurant / bar that gives off strong smells at all hours. Appreciated the coffee maker in the room and the water, but this does not enhance the structure itself. The bidet leaked, an air conditioner mounted on the kitchen hood with drain pipe in the sink of the same. For a room sold as a Superior at almost €100 a night I would say absolutely not...Ok the cleaning and telephone courtesy of the staff (I say telephone since we have never met the owners for obvious personal reasons, nor is there a reception). to say that they were very courteous in leaving the room for us even after check-out time without a supplement, truly a convenience for those who visit and then return before leaving.
