TtorislimThe hotel is very cozy, with sufficient heating and convenient shower room. The cathedral is just opposite, and it is very convenient to turn left and reach Rainbow Street. There is a kitchen on each floor, which is very convenient and solves my Chinese stomach! I will consider staying here next time I come to Iceland.

SSHUOThe location is perfect, the living facilities are perfect for the guesthouse, but the pool gym is not to be thought of. The service standard was not pleasantly surprised and was not cleaned during the stay.

Sanitation: Clean and sanitary, good
Environment: Close to Iceland bus station, you can walk there, close to the cathedral, and close to the beach
Service: The owner of the family hotel is serious, enthusiastic and easy to talk to. He recommended the hot springs to the locals, which is very good. I went there twice

GGuest UserThe positioning is accurate. In fact, parking around the hotel is OK. I asked the surrounding residents to park if there is no area on parka. If you go to the church, it takes about 10 minutes. There is a kitchen on the first floor. It is convenient to make an early morning.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and clean, shared bathroom was also clean. Good spread for buffet breakfast and good amenities to use in this guesthouse. There was a strict check in at 3pm but the host let us wait in the waiting area when we arrived at 2:30. It has nearby bus stop but everything is walking distance if you brace the weather.

Llucy10The location of the hotel is good, close to the church and Fly bus station, about ten minutes' walk.
The kettle in the hotel was broken, so I had to boil water in a pot to make noodles.
There is no reception staff at the hotel. There is a notice posted on the door. You need to call the hotel to get the password to open the door and then take the room key to check in on your own.

OOrmsbyI did not receive the check-in information before check-in, so I contacted the host through Facebook messenger when I arrived at the hotel door. The rooms are on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors and there is no lift. It is very inconvenient if you have a large suitcase.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very close to the cathedral and the city center. It is also very close to the bus station. It is also very convenient to go to the major attractions. The breakfast is moderate and the service is very good. The towels need to be mentioned in advance, no extra charge. This store is worth recommending.

HHimynameisalexPerfect location for a quick stop in Reykjavik. It’s not the cleanest of places (kitchen sink and stove was a bit dirty, but hey… what do you expect? It’s very clean compared to other hostels/hotels with shared kitchens like this!) but still worth every penny. I’d go there again any time. They do have a cozy library. All in all I really do like the vibe of the place 🫶🏻
