Pets are not allowed inside, but there is a fence and doghouse in the yard. Fishing: River Simojoki flows through lake Toljanjärvi. Permit area of Simojoki, Ranua 2580 covers that part of river Simojoki, which runs in the municipality of Ranua (www.eraluvat.fi). Simojärvi, well-known for its trout stock, is about 35 km away, see destination 2587 Simojärvi (www.eraluvat.fi). Hunting: Small game hunting area on state owned lands: 2619 Ranua (www.eraluvat.fi). Outboard motor (3.6 hp, 2-stroke) available for rent from the owner. The fuel is included in the rental fee. Log-built cabin, built in 2020. Inner walls are panelled. Water to the sauna comes from the house by a hose or by carrying. Cooking hut with gas grill and gas burner. You cannot grill with charcoal or an open fire in the cooking hut. There is a separate campfire site on the beach. The destination is located in the immediate vicinity of the road. Toivola is suitable as a holiday home for both nature lovers and family holidaymakers. The location between Ranua and Rovaniemi (on the halfway) offers nice possibilities to explore the attractions and services of both of these places.
