Haikou Homestays

Great location (though 30 mins from the airport). The staff were helpful and upgraded our room. The hostel is in the middle of town and around the back is the bus stop for the #3 on/off tourist bus which takes you to the beach and harbour areas. A 2 hour round trip, so a nice cheap way … 5CNY (have the correct cash) to see the area. Lots of food options in the area, but make sure you eat up at lunch time as most places were not open at dinner time.

A perfect place to stay in. Everything was good, i had no issues, no questions, no problems. Managers are speaking english very good. 白沙门 - baishamen park is a perfect place to visit by walking, from hotel. 起楼 - qilou street is close enough too. You could make a bicycle trip to reach it.

Great location. Small but enough space for a short stay. Even had a desk and side table. Clean and with great view from the roof over the old city streets. Nice charm. Big plus. Elevator to get up to the room with lots of luggage. 🤣🤩.

The homestay is in an excellent location, a quiet back street near shops and restaurants and the amazing night market. There is a security gate which initially posed an challange but once we got the fop all was well. The beds are comfortable enough and everything works well. We did not use the pool, so cannot comment. It seems refurbishment is ongoibg so eventually it will be a really cosy place. I will certainly stay again.

The space is large, the hotel has a good environment inside and outside, and there is an elevator. The bed is wide, big and soft. It is not too far from the school. The proprietress is very enthusiastic. The kittens in the hotel are also very friendly. My partner is very happy to pet them. 😆😆 The experience of staying here is really very good🥰

I recommend this French-style light luxury hostel in Monet Garden on Qilou Old Street. I personally think it is a great stay. The owner is very enthusiastic. On such a hot day, the owner has already turned on the air conditioner in the room, and it is very cool [snickering]. Although the room is not new, it is very clean, and the style is also what I like [grinning]. It is convenient for travel. It is at the entrance of the pedestrian street. You can take a taxi in a few steps. Go downstairs when Didi is about to arrive in advance, and seamlessly avoid the risk of fainting in the heat wave while waiting for the car, hahaha.
